Well I was wrong (again) but it was an awesome scene just the same. And I agree with @Joseph OHara comment on the cliffhanger. I guess the scream will be somebody who has already appeared in the story I can't wait to hear who @Summerabbacat HOPES it is 😄. One thing Killian should take from this walk with Fletcher and Jacy is they might be the perfect people to speak with about Seth. "Wait!" I called frantically. "Do you know who the killer is?" He didn't answer, just continued to fade. "Who is stealing from you? Who is disturbing your graves?" Just like all other scenes I've read or watched involving supernatural communications. These spirts are ALWAYS vague. You came from another dimension to speak with me just tell me already

I stopped at this point in the chapter to make one of my lame predictions I asked if you had plans for this evening," Fletcher explained with a patient smile. "No, not really." "Then maybe you'd like to accompany me on my after-dinner walk. As much as I enjoy my solitary strolls, I'd enjoy your company even more." I grinned. "That would be wonderful. I could really use some more relaxation time. Things have been pretty hectic lately. But should you be out walking?" Fletcher chuckled. "Do you think this bunch would let me out of their sight if I wasn't? My cardiologist has granted his permission for me to start my evening walks once again." He turned to Jacy. "And what about you? Would you care to join us?" Jacy had been watching us blankly, but at his grandfather's invitation, his expression turned to relief. "Sure." His tone was carefully casual, but I could tell he'd felt left out for a few seconds. My first thought is Fletcher may make a subtle (or not so subtle) comment about perhaps Killian and Jacy being right for each other.Probably just wishful thinking on my part. Now to finish the chapter to if I'm close or most likely wayyyyy far off

I suspect my coffee cup is just like yours judging by how my kitchen floor and counters look

But tonight the fear came from somewhere deeper — a fear of what he might become if he ever let desperation take over. I think that reaction was because of what Andy said. Andy may not know it but he did good tonight. I wish him well also. Is the college he attends the same one Kitt and Matt want to attend?

Chapter 23: New Boyfriends
weinerdog commented on RichardWrites's story chapter in Chapter 23: New Boyfriends
Good for Logan and perhaps even good for Ollie also “I’m probably the only Arlen in this school. You aren’t very bright, are you?” I knew only one Arlen in HS also. Ollie is doing pretty good with his studies but he still has his clueless moments. And while Arlen's comment may be accurate it was rude considering they don't really know each other. “That Kalos guy,” Liam ran a hand through his shaggy blond hair. “He’s a bit of a player with the gay guys on campus.” Exactly the kind who would make a play for Ollie. And if that did happen I could picture Dylan accusing Ollie of something -
Remember this from last chapter? So the very idea he could think, even for a moment, that Tom would turn on him made him nauseous. It was a feeling he never wanted to feel again. Now that we know of Tom's money problems maybe what happened previously was a false flag operation by Tom (not sure I used the right word) Perhaps Gabriel should still be in the back of his mind wary of him But as Gabriel helped him to his feet, he saw the inside of Gabriel’s suite. “What happened here?” I bet Sergio would have suspected the rock bank in the hotel of doing that (Ala Keith Moon or Joe Walsh) But not Gabriel

So we are marching towards Gabriel and Sean's date. But something came up and I had to add a bit of an interlude. Oh you just HAD to🙄

When I saw the title of the chapter I almost didn't want to read it. But since you have other books already written I guess All is NOT lost. Simon the unlikely hero will find something. "Oh God, this is really good. Is this ganache? This is definitely ganache. High-quality ganache. Where did she get high-quality ganache during an apocalypse? This is artisanal. I can taste the cocoa nibs. There's a hint of raspberry. Raspberry! In an apocalypse! Who's supplying her? Is there a chocolate fairy?" "It's really good chocolate. Like, really good. I think this is single-origin. Maybe Madagascar. There's a slight berry note. A very sophisticated berry note. Whoever sourced this knew what they were doing. This is award-winning chocolate. I've read about this brand. It's won prizes." Can Morgan McNutjob (Not her real name) do that with pizza also?🤔.....If she can she can take over my town

It keeps you from going insane.........But not your stories

The two of them had abandoned the top bunk idea after the first night, when the half rotten bunk had threatened to collapse under Darien. And if they squeezed, the bottom bunk made do. Much to Sir Val’s ever growing amusement at catching them sharing every morning. BUT IT"S NOT LIKE THAT

So that's how you get both stories posted without a hitch

Steps Forward, Shadows Behind

Sounds like Susan and Stephen are going to give Kitt time. But Kitt did make one small mistake wouldn't the postcard be marked Riverbend? He could have had Tom mail it from another location. -
Happy 14th Birthday Sam

Well at only three and a half inches I wouldn't think it would be a problem -
You could have had me be the dog

The main street of Leamington Spa had completed its transformation into something out of a fever dream. It was as if every romance novel, every music video, every half-remembered fantasy had been blended together and projected onto the town like a film reel that had come to life. You pretty much described a chick flick on steroids She was young, maybe nineteen, with pink streaks in her hair and an expression of absolute, unquestioning fury Except for being 19 you can see that on every High School campus

"Yeah I can take you on my bike Killian" "Your car broke down again?????" "It's been acting up lately . I have no idea why"

Now I know who this guy's ancestors are

Well something is going to happen where Wylen shows how useful he can be. “Your not small,” Wylan replied with a slight smile. “How do you know that?” Darien asked as they trotted along. “Last night, ser. You’re bigger than I am at any rate,” Wylan shrugged. I'm sure I wasn't the only reader thinking this but I'll be the perv to say it Exactly WHAT was bigger according to Wylen

The Letter and the Weight that Comes with It
weinerdog commented on Tony S.'s story chapter in The Letter and the Weight that Comes with It
“Okay,” he whispered. “I’ll… think about it. About writing.” My first thought after reading that? Okay so four chapters later Maybe tomorrow he’d buy a postcard. Maybe he’d write: Mom, I’m safe. Then a few sentences later it's November well did say maybe. So I'm thinking Thanksgiving?..Christmas? Stephen’s hands tightened. “Afraid that my son choosing that path will ruin him. That people will hurt him. That his life will be hard. That he’ll suffer.” “And you think driving him into the snow made his life easier?” the pastor asked softly. If it was anyone else but the Pastor saying that I think the perfect follow up would have been to say DUH!!!!! -
‘Although it’s actually more commonly referred to as the Southern Ocean.’ When did that happen? When I was is school it was only The Antarctic . ‘Hello boys. Have you been having fun?’ Charlie and I glanced at each other. ‘Yes, Nan,’ he answered. ‘Just been playing some games.’ Well he wasn't lying
-
He was wearing only a pair of boxer briefs and looked like a drowned rat, his hair dripping everywhere, apparently having just come from the shower. ‘I certainly hope you’re not going to school dressed like that, young man?’ I don't see a problem with that?....Do any of you?🤔

You are NOT speaking ill of the dead ...You are speaking ill of the fictional dead..Sort of like when a movie audience cheers when the bad guy gets it...That works for me

The last time you said one as in one more drama before TBOB we got five (or so)
