This incident shows how much Ethen cares about Jake if there was any doubt it was also good of Cody to reassure Ethen that everything was going to be Okay. That was an interesting discussion the three had led by Ethen from his practicing TM perspective as Cody said Ethen doesn't speak like a 17 year old while he was very wise here he must not have been practicing TM while he was doing all that sleeping around. It's good that guys spoke of this and realize that they all find each other attractive one thing I would caution is about that party they'll be going to alcohol lowers inhabitions let's home there are no temptations. One more serious concern is Jake while meeting new people at the party might imbibe more then he should that would not be good for his diabetic condition

I applaud Jake for telling Ethen what happened I believe the majority of people who have done the same thing will vow to themselves never to do it again but will never speak of what happened. A couple of reasons that could explain Ethen's calm reaction is that he know Jake and Cody are a unique situation and Ethen also realizes he may have done the same thing himself in the past.As long as Jake is serious about never again things should be OK. I hope Cody's reaction is just seeing Ethen for the first time with Jake got to him. The upcoming party should be interesting.I have no reason to say this there have been no clues but I have a gut feeling Cody and Luke might end up with each other eventually just a thought in my mind.

Before I address the main issue I hope what Alan said to Craig gets through Craig's thick skull. Well no big surprise what happened between Cody and Jake. It was established that Cody was legitimately cold and with no extra blankets or sweats or coat to wear this was Cody's only option so he didn't plan this but that's not to say once he got to Jakes bed he didn't hope something would happen having said that Jake was the one that made the move.I think he really likes Ethen but he also still likes Cody.Jake has to decide right now who he likes better or who would he be more happy with etc. Whatever Jake decides both Ethen and Cody would have a legit argument that it's not fair. Well we heard from Craig and while he's as ignorant and wrongheaded in his own way as she is at least he's not as evil as she is for he wouldn't have thrown Cody out.Hazel uses a bible passage to justify her actions but when Craig tries to counter with another bible passage she abruptly cuts him off and doesn't want to hear it you can't deal with that kind of person. I wish Craig would leave her and cut her off financially like she did with Cody but we know that's not going to happen.If Hazel and Jenny ever talk I hope we get to hear it. BTW Kip is a really good guy

Wow you managed to pack of stuff happening in this chapter I surely thought Jake-Ethen-Luke thing was going to be the most discussed part of this chapter but obviously it takes a back seat after what happened to Cody. Although most of us suspected this might happen but Hazel is even more of a vile evil POS then we could imagine.She does this even before Craig gets home shouldn't he have a say? And then she says not to tell any family that's not her call how arrogant.She must have shown this kind of behavior all of Cody's life because Cody let her have it and was not at a loss for words. Of course Jenny did the only there was to do but boy is this going to cause a lot of complications with Jake I think he'll want to do right by Ethen but Cody's a life long friend and they just found out about each other before they had a chance to take it further that just doesn't go away I can't see something not happening being in the same house. This story has plenty of drama already yet there are things that have still yet to happen like Callum and his abuse there is so much stuff here.

Most of the questions we had had about Ethen seemed to be answered.I guess I have to give Ethen credit if he's really going to tell Jake about his past.There is one thing that might not be said to Jake Luke was all friendly and hugged Jake a few times but then he referred to Jake as a straight guy.When Ethen was speaking to Ed it was implied that Ethen and Luke had a bit of history once Luke finds out Jake plays for the same team will that change?

Well Jake certainly moved on fast I would normally say too fast unless Ethen just has a certain something. I did notice something that could be a red flag Ethen saying the reason why he dropped out of school is because his Dad doesn't want him to alone before and after school.That doesn't make sense to me he's 17 and has mentioned friends that live close by I don't see a problem.IMO there is another reason and one that comes to mind is he's gay and he's out and it was a issue at school.It could be something else of course but it's not the reason Ethen told the Stevens

Again I don't know if the way Cody handled it was right or wrong but I will say that the letter expressed things perfectly no way would Cody have been able to do so verbally plus Jake would have kept interrupting so its good that the letter was written. Now obviously we don't know from here does the story stay with Jake in Nevada or will we still see Cody from time to time.I wonder this because the only way Cody stays in the story is if the absolute worse reaction comes from Cody's parents if they find out about him and the Steven's then find out about it. But this author has surprised me before so we'll see

For the most part the coming out part went as well as one can expect as far as Cody's parents goes my first thought isn't optimistic. In the U.S. depending on what state you live in by law they don't just let you go home like that after trying to kill yourself .I don't know the details but I think they observe you for a few days.I don't know the law in Britain but I'm surprised they let Jake go home so soon

The big incident that happened at the Center Mr. London saw that with his own eyes along with Trent they saw what he did with Evan and before with Hayden they have to give him a significant role there. Now that Stephanie want to focus of her story to be on Matt instead of the Pastor I mentioned this before if he does this his parents will come up in her story and Stephanie may contact them to get a comment from them.The sperm donor is a lost cause but possibly the Mother might want to contact Matt.I remember when Matt had that swollen eye her instinct was to check on it but her husband stopped her from doing that.In the Bible men are dominant and I think Matts Mom let the sperm donor make all the decisions based on that including not seeing Matt at juvenile hall way back when I'm just saying that because I can see Matt's Mother make a surprise visit at the center some day. If you're referring to the drop in reactions I have been reading a few stories that nobody is paying attention to and they are pretty good stories IMHO with one small exception it appears to me reactions have gone down across the board even with proven long time authors.I don't have any facts to back this up just my gut feeling but I would be interested to see what an analysis of the numbers would show.
