    Something definitely resonates with Theo. And I’ve had the same thought about the pack - they could very well be alive in some kind of animated state and their “death” is the lie that the demon wants Theo to believe. But Why? To what end?

    So in this alternative reality control of the mind and positive thoughts are a source of power. Perhaps this entity is some kind of Ice Mage or at least appears to have ice magic, but again is it real or in an imaginary realm only? Finally we see the soft side of Theo. Another brilliant chapter.

    Perhaps as a clairvoyant, Jack is more sensitive to the paranormal or otherworldly. He has heard his name, felt icy fingers and seen a battle field of corpses including Theo and Vince. And now it seems a witch has him in her grip. This is nail-biting stuff.

    Another brilliant chapter and Theodore is softening up and feeling a little jealous to boot. The adventure into the place beyond the veil is going to be very dangerous and all of their skills and perhaps Danny’s at the moment of greatest danger will be needed. Looking forward to this!

    I’m first! yaaay. There’s a lot going on here once they reach Madrid, and it pulls George right into a very uncomfortable situation. I really felt for him, but as us usual, he handles it with a quiet confidence that belies the potential danger. The whole scene has that sense that one wrong move could ruin him, which keeps the tension high. Cardona’s household is a mess, and the duchess is downright dangerous. Thank goodness for the duke stepping in and restoring some order. But will she keep quiet forever? And will George face similar allegations going forward?

    Our 3 cavaliers are together and the fun begins. Theodore is finally realising that the field mouse and the human are going to be part of his life.

    Hmmm. Cassandra is not as powerful as she likes to project. Nevertheless they have to approach the old crone carefully. Vince is doing an amazing job and Theodore, not Theo, 😂 is beginning to understand a few things.
