I know I have read this previously but in the days I had just got divorced and didn’t want a digital footprint. I’m loving the reread. And as @raven1 has said, this is not cringy in the least. I’m enjoying the character development and the unfolding of the plot.

Oh boy are Dixie Mae and Shayna about to explode and Reed will be there to witness it. Good to see Bass and Kidd so relaxed and part of the Two Spirits crew. -
These two are certainly taken with one another. The Riggs Ranch seems like a great place to live and work.

And finally Oliver is learning that not everything can be planned, executed and recorded regardless of interference or new data. He is finally aware that his body has opinions and this realisation it seems, has helped him understand his ex-husband in a new light. Perhaps Oliver, as we met him in Chapter 1, was a difficult person to live with? I’m enjoying his unfolding and seeing the emergence of somebody new.

A wonderfully mundane chapter - which of course is the essence of our lives for the most part. It is good to see them doing the normal daily things that people do - like trying on clothes without displaying your bits. 😜 having lunch with mum and thinking of ways to better connect to your siblings. -

Lawrence is on the road to falling head over heels with Bastien. Whether his sleuthing will be able to stand alongside his growing fascination with Bastien, remains to be seen, but I hope so. Ali is a real character and I hope, like @Aevylian, that he is not a crook. Who planted the book?

I’m really enjoying how these two men are flourishing in their careers and I like to think that part of it is due to their thriving as a couple. Perhaps Marcin’s large instrument is a euphemism and he will indeed show Charlie a very good time. 😜

Oliver has begun an odyssey of his own and is finding first the physical realities and a body that is not quite fit enough for a relaxed walk. This is tough and the physical response reflects this. Soon enough the emotional and spiritual elements of this journey, although already lurking in the background, will come to the fore. I love this journey for Oliver.

Flip’s Big Adventure is a well-paced story of two unlikely men who find each other during a two-day snow storm. It is humorous, energetic and in a few thousand words we feel like we know Flip and Artie intimately. This was a fantastic short read and highly recommended.

A brilliant chapter and with only one to go, I shall be sorry to see our guys ride into the sunset. I would love to continue riding along with them if you have a sequel in you. A seriously good bit is story telling!

Perhaps the hard drive named ZANE should be given to Zane before the auction so that he is aware of his situation and doesn’t push the price up too high.
