Congratulations Razor!!

Thank you for that...though my sympathy goes out mostly to Garret. Beauty is fleeting... I still sit in awe... that was so awesome. Thank you!

LOL definately! You're muse... woofty... A postal worker popping prozac like pezz, and with a straight razor... yeee haawwwww!

Thank you CJ.... I'll take the batteries out of the cattle prod and let you be LOL.. You know me... I get nervous when people don't say anything about a chapter. LOL Though I think the e-dicussion alterations have forshadowed a lot of what's going on. I don't envy the person that has to migrate that into a new environment. It is SO tedius. As you know.... (hehehe) I did that Blizzard anthology thing today... so the druid and this got put on hold.... It was just too unique an experience to pass up. I had to hurry up and get it down in print. If I don't shlep out something for 'the druid' next there's going to be a damn revolt over at nifty so I suppose I should do that next... though honestly... This story has my attention and I hate not to continue... I'm torn... I hate not to write on a certain thing when I REALLY want to continue it. Then again... I'd hate for the editor to have to throttle me. Well... add some whip cream and some soft leather... uhhh nevermind... brain kinda drifted a second... Anyway.... we'll see what comes of it Take care! and thank you much for giving it a read!

All I can say is wow!!! This was a wonderful story. It took me two days to tear through it, but I got it done and loved every second of it. And a happy ending! SMOOCH! This should be a movie. Though I know often times movies make mockeries of the story, I just don't see how they could screw this one up. I remember on several occasions thinking... JUST SAY IT!!!! lol Poor Greg, that was SOOOoo stressful. I did enjoy the spiteful way he landed the bomb on them. Priceless! It intrigued me how Dan, Kelley, and Garret each had their own 'issues' but seemed to fit against each other like a glove. Kelly had her defensive anger, Garret his obsession with women, and dan his depression. They kept each other in check, but they all supported each other when one of them started to fall. I also loved the way that they seemed so adamant about protecting each other. This goes beyond aquaintences. These were truly the best of friends or it sure as hell felt like it to me. This was such a lovely story! I hate that it's over. Now.... questions Pink Michelin Man Only five paragraphs in and I was laughing. LoL I have to say I like this ornery side of you Graeme Hire boots and ski clothes. (It

Too Damn FUNNY! -
Thanks much! Asher is going to take a little while to get to know. He's still kind of forming in my mind as much as he is in print. As for David.. we'll see. David didn't get a lot of 'screen time' so to speak, but I 'hope' that his actions spoke louder than his words. As for Seth... heh well... It's the dust buster for him. I did have a lot of fun twisting the old stories to suit me, and I hope that they don't offend anyone. (well not too much anyway As for the description of the chamber... I'll take a look at that and see if there's something I can do with it. Thanks again for giving it a peek! Much appreciated! Shannon

LOL You're funny Thanks... just something I slapped together and stuck out there. It's supposed to depict the breaking point where someone finally makes the decision to end their life. Me... I have every intention of living a long long life and become a burden to the state! WOO HOO! Aim high!

Thank you Camy. I'm glad to know it wasn't a total waste of time. Take care!

It's not the best thing in words... but it's kind of what popped out. It's dark... it's cranky, and well... heheh not the most jovial piece of literature. https://www.gayauthors.org/eficiton/viewstory.php?sid=218 If you have comments, place them here.

[Shadowgod] Living in Surreality
DarkShadow replied to shadowgod's topic in Promoted Author Discussion Forum
I have come to the conclusion that we authors are all sadists and masochists at the same time. I feel compelled to keep reading this story knowing I am going to be punished with an inevitable cliffhanger, but yet I cannot stop myself. It is that same torture I inflict on others in my own writing and I LOVE IT! I just finished chapter 5 and 6 and am so disappointed there isn't more to read I could scream lol. This is really great stuff, and I want MORE! The visuals you create with your writing are incredibly vivid in my mind. I hope to have more to read soon! Thank you! -
Well I know I'm going to write something for the anthology, but I haven't got the first clue what it is going to be. Maybe I'll look at some old folk tales and such this weekend. Nothing has jumped out at me yet. Jack and the ?????? Perverse thoughts wander through my head heheh... nahh... better write something more PG! The person below me just placed something obscene in the sentence above.

LOL now that's just evil! 2000 posts *poof*. Like unplugging your favorite video game and losing the high score. HEH

#1 Everything comes with risk. Everything that is worth anything is usually fought for. I wish them the best of luck and applaud their bravery. I think a better question would be, 'Is it work the risk?' That's a question each person in that parade has to ask themselves. If, at the end they have answered ,yes, then I think all that is left, is to wish them well. #2 So long as they don't damage any property, and it isn't a great hinderance to people's daily lives, I believe they should be able to have the parade any place they please, and be left unmolested. A person's religious belief does not grant them the right to impose upon another individual. Here in the US you can worship any way, and any religion you please so long as you don't break the law. (no killing people, etc etc) You can choose to worship Allah, God, Goddess, Thor, Snoopy, Barbara Streisand, or the curly cue hair growing out your pimply butt if it suits you, so long as you don't infrige on another person's rights. Or, you can choose to worship nothing at all. The are three mains goals to a pride parade in my opinion. One, to remind the public that 'yep' contrary to what you might have been told, we're still here. Two, to give a sense of community to sexually subversed indivuals and the knowledge that they are not alone in the world. Three, to push forward a political agenda and make a public cry against the inequities in current law. I'm sure there are many other reasons for a pride parade of any sort, but these three things seem to ring the strongest in my mind. While I believe it is proper and should be expected, that we respect others beliefs, I don't think it should stop anyone from being who they are. Difference in belief is not a handicap, or some border to keep people safe. It's a choice. It's as much of a choice for those that will march in that parade. It's a choice for others to be present and witness it, or, avert their eyes and make plans to be somewhere else that day. I don't care if the Klu Klux Klan decided they wanted to parade through the middle of Mississippi. Their beliefs are not my own. I can take each day and fight my own personal battles as they are presented to me. I'm not so bored as to have to go find them. So with that in mind, I think the second question is completely erroneous. If it was a parade of Methodists marching in front of a Jewish Temple, I suspect there wouldn't be such a big deal being made of this. That someone considers a place 'Holy' means nothing to me if I do not share that belief. I will respect the object or place, but I will not give the same reverence to it as those that believe differently. Would I go fart in a confessional..? No. Would I participate in a gay pride parade that marched right outside it's doors. You're damn straight I would. I wish them a safe parade and hope for the best. Take care!

Woo hoo! I don't think my head will fit out the door! j/k Thanks a lot Graeme, that means a lot coming from you. As for the pie story, I wanted to give a little background, but not make it clinical and at the same time try to explain what a 'ward' is exactly lol. Thank you too for pointing out a few 'whoops!'. It made it so I could get them fixed quickly. My editor would have probably caught them, but after the third or 4th version of the chapter I hated to send him anything else lol. He didn't even see the third person re-write. (I think he probably would have killed me heheh) Take care and thanks for reading!

I thought that was sweet! I think there should be more of that on TV!

For the most part I hated them, but I do recall a week long business trip in Vegas that was quite a bit of fun! The person below me wishes we had a 5 day weekend, and 2 day work week!

I really liked chapter one! I have to say though, you definately earned them horns. You're evil! Leaving us swinging in the breeze wondering what's going to happen. I want to kick the younger brother's ass! He should have taken that money and just moved instead of forking it all over to the boy. Better yet, turn that little bastard into the police for extortion! So.... when can I look forward to reading chapter 2?!

Thanks much. I'm so damned tired lol. Tomorrow is for 'Midnight's Rainbow' The one joy I know is that as 'author' I can do whatever the hell I want. LOL So... I pulled in the third person narrative... and made it a first person experience for Ty. hehehe Yeah... I totally cheated. Chapter 6 is going to have to wait until I get chapter 1 done of 'Midnight's Rainbow' I'm about 1/2 way there. Maybe tomorrow I'll find my way through it. Until then... I'm going to stare blindly at the computer screen and yawn. In another 20 minutes.... with any luck.. I'll be snoring. We'll see.
