You went back and did a selected word count, didn't you? Bah-shhhh-HUSH! Be quiet. Don't want them speculating too much in the first chapter. Being on the inside, I'm going to need some popcorn for when all the guesses come rolling in.

Sequels are often difficult to pull off. Some flop completely, and more are never comparable to the original. This story is in the minority. It oftentimes exceeds Boss Nanny, and that's a feat. The characters are just as incomparable. It's not often a story comes around focused on a NFL player and a social media influencer. Putting them together, and we have constant entertainment. Their relationship has plenty of high moments, low roads, and shocking moments of clarity. Equally as captivating is the comment section. The back-and-forth between @Mrsgnomie and @kbois is simply addicting. There is a reason this is the most recommended story on the site (as of writing this review). I task you, the reader, with discovering the reason.

This has been such a blast to read. Brilliant storytelling, and a fantastic cast of characters to boot. Completely worthy of every recommendation. Wonderful job, Mrs. G!

Same problem here. I wrote one short story around 10k words, and everyone wants more. I'll add to the recommendation pile-up once I finish reading I resonated with the Petermeyer parent nonsense. Every after getting married, my mom is still waiting for me to move back home. Like, literally my old room... Now, I have lived most of my life under a rock... but snowboarding with a teeny-tiny kiddo?! Absolutely insane. Even when I was sixteen and skiing for the first time, my parents wanted to strap pillows to all of my limbs. Lovely chapter. Can't wait for the proverbial big bang after the wedding.

Are you proposing to me?

I feel so left out. #teamgnomie4life Good job, Loren. It had to be him to propose; it just had to be. Jay wasn't going to push the button. -
The Truth in Loren's Eyes

What a wholesome chapter! So happy to find time to read this again. Forkin' love me some Aido-tots and Carson-nuggets. -
I forkin' love Bouncer! He's just about the greatest alien doggo ever born. Bouncer might be Garjah's new interrogation buddy...

Me too!! I love the cold weather, but Noah is totally against it. Now the question is whether Vin and Mace kick RJ out of the room, or if they let him watch. -

Lots of potential storyline, both new and existing. We still need to learn more about Snyder, and this drug ring in Owensville. @Grumpy Bear. He's one of my favorite authors in GA, and we've chatted for a while about each others' stories. It's been several months since he's logged on, so by making him a character, I hope his ears start burning and logs on to investigate. These are all valid points. The only reason Vincent wants to come home is the negative effects of his bond with Mason. If you recall from the first book, Vin couldn't sleep soundly without Mace nearby. Even the distance between the bedroom and the kitchen gave them issues. RJ might talk some sense into him, maybe offer a trick for the mated couple. -

Owensville is shaping up rather nicely. Vincent might be a natural auditor... I love jokes! RJ is fun. He tugs at my heartstrings a bit, but he's a delight. I imagine Reardon will be delighted once he recognizes Vincent.- 29 comments

Chapter 19: Baltimore Business
astone2292 commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 19: Baltimore Business
I loved writing the campfire/beer drinking session, especially Caleb's top-tier dad-joke. The vampiric oath was such fun. I needed to add some character to my interpretation to vampires and their culture. Now... the question is what are their powers? Need to jot some stuff down. RJ is close to my heart. He's a great friend of mine in the GA community. He's been missing for a while, but hopefully RJ can fill the void, for the time being. It seems a little selfish, but I don't care. I miss the real RJ.- 29 comments

@wildone Yay! My mistake fooled the putrid one! (Psst, it wasn't the first Wednesday of the Month. My bad!) Also, Ask An Author needs more questions. Send 'em in, folks! Don't you want to know more about your favorite stories? Ask me three questions about a story, and I'll find out for ya. Ever wondered if Essell Deray from @Cia's Ancalagon has an innie or an outie belly button? You can find out, plus more, if you 🎶 Aaaaaaaask An Author! 🎶

Chapter 19: Baltimore Business

I love this new arc (of sorts). Vincent as an auditor sounds like a blast. Let's hope Terik minds her beeswax... He still has hopes of going home each night. I wonder if Grumpy will allow it... This audit is definitely going to be interesting. Alpha Reardon, leader of Baltimore, former police chief of Elkridge. I can't wait to see if he recognizes Vincent after all these years. I love Dave's insinuation at the campfire. Who's gonna pop out the next kiddo; Tierney/Morrine, or Caleb/Tasha?- 29 comments

Watching Dirk swat at the frolicking Ingle, Dave snorted. “Can you believe this?” “Right?” Caleb remarked. “Little B might need to tell the Seven to chill out around here. This town could use some gods-be-damned peace and quiet for once.” Grabbing another bottle from the cooler, he tossed one to the lion before getting his own. “Hell, we might get it when Vincent leaves for Maryland tomorrow. I already told Mace I’m on vacation this week from work, and I expect zero phone calls.”

Chapter 5 Straight Shootin'
astone2292 commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 5 Straight Shootin'
Very much so. I was prompted by one of my readers for a story, so I'm partially doing my homework to prepare a paranormal western involving shapeshifters. -
Nah, need a man with some meat on his bones. Fix Hoss' teeth from Bonanza, and we're talkin'!

I can't help but love hating The Rifleman. Every time Mark said, "But Pa!" I wanted to throw the remote at the screen.

C'mon, Coy! Good to see him standing up to Boone, but share your feelings bud. Boone... I'm starting to get disappointed in you. In the West, it's good to travel together. Alone, you can wind up dead quick. Binge, binge! Go, go, go! -
Willard came across more heartening than Boone's narration gave me. Instantly thought of Micah from The Rifleman, but a little more stern. Binge! Binge! Go, go, go!

Uh oh. Who knew the Four Arms saw The Shining? I'm concerned about these two youngn's. It's like the older guy is holding them back, waiting for the perfect moment to let them loose. Maybe Bouncer running off is it...? Ases and Essell are now defenseless amid a crowd of screaming people. Time for Things #1&2 and the Kardoval to make a move.

I love cats, mostly because I'm allergic to dogs. Cats can knock stuff off the counter all they want, but in the end, I have the laser pointer...
