Chapter 16: Diverging Destiny
astone2292 commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 16: Diverging Destiny
Yeah; flying's for the birds and Muggles! I just love this whole situation with Dirk and Ingle. What's going to happen to our favorite black bear? It's getting a little late, and my brain might be fried, but where was the reference to Stefan and new power for Vincent? -
I made my demands, and they gave me what I wanted.

I'll take the blame. That means I might get more readers!

Teehee! Welcome to my stories. Cliffies are pretty rampant.

Ooooooh! When you remember it, let me know!

Before writing this, I never encountered a deer shapeshifter character in a story. Cross breed mate thing? In one of my stories?

Daaaaaangg! Thanks so much, everybody! I dig the purple. Just need to thank @Carlos Hazday and @Valkyrie for the umpteenth time. These two have helped develop my skills as a writer in more ways than my college professors have. I'll never be able to thank them enough. Ooooooooooh, I'm so happy! Off to do a happy dance!- 36 comments

Chapter 16: Diverging Destiny
astone2292 commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 16: Diverging Destiny
Ha! Heavenly smack. I think a certain someone in a certain nightmare did that already. What an analysis! In regards to your curious thought at the end here, another affinity? Oh, you must mean the— Poor Tina. She always goes for the ones she can't have. Which one of the Seven came to Dirk's rescue in the nightmare? A certain prophetic, bald lady that likes to toy with my dang plot-lines! Sadly, this story's the last in the official trilogy. Eventually, I'll be playing around with an alternate timeline... with zombies! I will reveal this much: Cyrus will be the only point-of-view... Did I say Cyrus? I meant Thabo *hint, hint, wink, wink* I figured the bromance needed to lose the "b." I already explained it to another reader through PM, but I'll say it again here. I'm actually putting a spin on a dream of mine. There's another certain were-creatures story I love, and it deserves to be a trilogy. Timber Pack Chronicles stole my heart, then again when the sequel came out, but the beta (Trey) was left out in the cold. Trey was obviously straight, but what if he found his mate... and it turned out to be a super-masculine guy? Dirk and Ingle are going to have such a fun time figuring out their sex lives... HA! I think I've warranted several of your "Oh, Hell No"s throughout this story, and I love them all. Thanks for commenting, everyone!- 33 comments

Chapter 16: Diverging Destiny
astone2292 commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 16: Diverging Destiny
A lot is happening, and readers better buckle up. Tiny details are there begging to be noticed. Flying spatulas, thirsty vampires, and now Vincent's not the only celestial puppet in Owensville. Only in a small town, right? What else could happen between now and Vincent's trip back home? This author has plenty of ammo in his toolbelt.- 33 comments

His wolf howled within his mind. C’mon, bud! You can’t be this happy to be back home. Yes! Yes can! No more plane. You really need to get over this. Vincent had to admit his spirit was correct. It felt great to be at the airport. The summit was officially over, and the final day could not have gone by slower. He was disappointed no one wanted to challenge him after his showdown with Shore. Even the few that committed prior backed out. Scaredy cats. Weak. Vincent was shocked

Chapter 19: Lowe's Lair
astone2292 commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 19: Lowe's Lair
You know... On the big red banner, there's a button called "Store." Leads ya right to the author group. Sorry, your comments are simply amazing. This one in particular just reeks of wisdom! Very well worded. Also, Noah and I keep trying to have kids, but neither of us get pregnant. Haven't figured that one out yet. -

This was such a delight to read! Are you sure you don't want to be an author? I haven't been around many kids. Perks of being an only child who lived under a rock. My only frame of reference when it comes to kids are some of Noah's fraternity brothers' kiddos. I've been told many tales by them... mostly blabbers, but they are riveting! Writing for Lowe is honestly a challenge, despite him not being able to form complete sentences yet. This reminds me I need to bring him back into the picture in Death in the Shadows... -

Don't know how I missed this comment. Apologies! Zaltho is my first alien character! I forkin' loved writing for him. To have many alien races familiarize themselves with human behavior was so interesting to dabble in. They wouldn't fully grasp some human languages, English in this case. I'd be interested to see how long it would take for Zaltho to include contractions into daily conversation.

Ha! Opportunity to make the first comment! Timok is still on my radar. He now has Ases, so is this separation going to become a distraction? Nefarious things are afoot!

I'm pretty dure I don't have the word affinity, but I won't be upset if I do. Insert maniacal cackle. Caleb better watch for UFOs, 'cause I foresee flying kitchen utensils in his future. Teddy is a favorite side character, and I wish I created him sooner. The squirt gun might be one of my favorite lines I've written (next to Zully's demon comment from Paranormal Drinks.) -

Go... to the distillery? Well that makes too much sense. That's just way too big brain. Boxer briefs? Oh heavens no! We'd kick that guy out in a heartbeat. I mean, we might wait a minute or two if he was handsome, but no longer than three minutes. -

Chapter 15: Shore's Showdown

Vincent would be such an awesome grade school teacher. "Mr. Bolton? Can we go on a field trip again?" "But we just saw Sydney, Australia yesterday. Fine." Then creates a sight ward and sends it to the Amazon rainforest. My mother was, and still is, fickle when I cones to lost trust, and I inherited that. I'll forgive after plenty of groveling, but I will never forget the deed. My mother will dangle if over their heads, but I'm not that cruel; I keep it bottled up and remember it until either of us die. Needless to say, Vincent's the same as me. Very good analysis of Wagner's predicament. It's certainly a pickle. I can see Harold's nonsense wrapping up in... Oh, say 20 chapters. Ha ha! Teddy and Alex, sitting in a tree. Time play in my plot line spreadsheet... -

Could one imagine the sensory torture Vincent could cause? Slinging around someone by the ankles via shadow tentacles and putting them under a sight ward's shenanigans? -

Now is that Vincent's true terror form? That was two out of three affinities. Caleb surprised me. I wasn't expecting him and Lewis to speak to me when writing the scene, but that's what my thumbs wrote. C'mon, Cyrus and Wagner! We need content!- 31 comments

Chapter 15: Shore's Showdown
astone2292 commented on astone2292's story chapter in Chapter 15: Shore's Showdown
Wagner's mission is a lonely one, but that's with many undercover operations. He's a little self-centered, but I like Wagner too. Hmmm, so is Wagner the only one under surveillance? Interesting... Wagner? Think he's right where we want him. Hopefully he finds something to take Harold down. Just a few strings at the summit, but I'll tie those down in a bit... Love a good scrap! Can't have a whole story of lovey dovey stuff, now can we?- 31 comments
