Like you can't wait long enough for Saturday's chapter update.. I do not know if am alone who has noticed the pattern but it seems like each past chapter has a direct bearing on the present chapter...Case in Point ..this one is clearly a prelude to the talk that is happening next....As Brad wants Lyn to 'give' him his place as the Best friend...he tried to re-assert that at the dinner in the previous chapter...he did in the past in this chapter. It is indeed going to be bloody interesting. ..the meet up I mean

OMG!...that was magnifico!..That scene between Leonardo and River I mean...Dare I say Leonardo is the dark horse of this tale..? I liked how River wiped the smirk of Harry's mug!...That dudette needed to be brought down a peg...I imagined he nearly exploded when he got served by River at the beach scene....Keep them coming ...like @Summerabbacat mentioned in the previous commentary...Harry needs a lesson... Dare I say Veronica is being weird because of menopausal blues?..Because you can't be salty like that hag .eh😂 -

You know sometimes I imagine you chortling when you write some of these scenes......today we had a lot of gems in this chapter...... The Steve/Kenny/Lydia bedroom scene.... The Sally/Kenny/Steve scene... The Lydia slamming everyone for not being bitchy enough during the Jason/Sally/Blake confrontation..... Basically Lydia is just teeming with sass😂

I mentioned before that Sally reminds me of Bree van Der Kamp...that scene when she slaps Jason and calmly walks and introduces herself to Blake validates her point... I am fastidious but even I must admit Kenny is on another level..eh😂 Liddie...is just something else....that gurl has no censor in her body...God..it's like her mouth goes before her brain😂

Whoa...you are certainly not pulling any punches mate. For what it is worth, you are not alone. If you have read his previous stories , there is always that female character who just invokes one's murderous Intent...I can't stress much enough, How I wished was in the story at that dinner...I would have swirled the contents on my plate in her well set make up. Then there is that Harry...I think he is the really the gold digger that Veronica was accusing River of being...he must have dated Zayn and dumped him when Leonardo cut Zayn off. I know, and we know that Zayn will grow up and become a better person as the story progresses but it does not negate the fact that he is currently a spineless twat 😂 -

Looks like Veronica is going to be the Claudia of this tale....I think we need to revise Zayn's character traits ..besides arrogance and snobbishness, am adding spineless...God is that bloke an utter wuss! In my head, this chapter mirrors the opening scene of Star Wars:Force Awakens in that there has indeed been an awakening!. It may be early days yet but I believe this is the moment that Lyn starts to really 'look and see' around him. I especially liked the fact that he sort of gets an epiphany that the 'flame' that once strongly burnt for Brad seems to have been doused over time. It may not have been open declaration @Cane23 clearly mentioned earlier but I like to believe those two mean subconsciously 'marked' each other.. By making themselves vulnerable and forfeiting control, especially Lyn, they have laid a foundation of what is to come and I cannot wait to see more.
