I included all the 'Cards' as part of 'those involved in the boyflesh trade'. One very well known woman in recent times came to mind when I made this comment, one born in to a life of wealth and privilege. The age of the boys involved is what has shocked me the most @pvtguy. 7 year old boys traded as sexual commodities. I am not naive enough to think this does not happen, but it has been confronting to have had it laid so bare. @empath has done an outstanding job in revealing the ugliness of the whole racket, giving we readers just enough of the sordidness whilst making it still possible to read. Had it been too graphic I don't think I could have continued to read it.

I searched far and wide in comments you made recently, likely on one of Robert's stories, for the name of Lilebeth aka Spawn of Satan. I remembered how you commented you caught her eating duck fat out of the garbage, but could I find the comment, no. I look forward to a story with an appearance by both Greta and Lilebeth, a bit like the twins in Ralph:Breaking Free. It appears your literary debut has impressed quite a few "familiar faces" with @Tonyr, @drsawzall, @Tris and @Flip-Flop commenting. I expect this story might also appeal to @Cane23, @pvtguy, @CincyKris, @akascrubber and @centexhairysub as they often read and comment on Robert's stories. Your stories have a similar appeal to Robert's, a quintessential "Englishness" to them, a sense of whimsy and wry sense of humour, even if not set in the UK. I look forward to some unique @Gary Lisms, something like those Hugillisms, maybe with a Spanish twist.

One "trap" I think all we readers have fallen into @empath and @pvtguy is we have assumed all those involved in the boyflesh trade are men. There may be some women involved just as there may be some women who have procured the services of the boyflesh. Women are not immune from this kind of behaviour, in fact their gender may be helpful in protecting them because of the presumption they would not be involved in anything so heinous.

Unlike @pvtguy @empath, I am not always peaceful when contemplating the punishment for the "trash" of humanity, of which there is much, for crimes committed against animals and children especially. For this reason I am more than happy for the 54 cards, including Charles Miller and especially the Jack of Spades, to be tortured in any way you say fit. If it results in their death, so long as it is excruciatingly painful and slow, then I am all for it. I am not sure what Dominic De Luca has in mind for Roger. It is clear Dominic is disgusted with the "trade" Eddie was involved in so I do not think he will be at all upset if it is shutdown. If I am reading the story correctly, which for me is difficult due to its emotional impact, Dominic is not aware of who the Jack of Spades is, but he may be able to find out through his network of criminal associations. He may in fact assist the FBI and CPD in shutting down the racket. Riveting is the word I keep using to describe this story @empath and it was once again the most appropriate. I so hope Oliver survives, for his own sake and for the sake of the boys he is protecting. He may also be crucial to the case to ensure those involved never see the light of day again.

How could they not? I am eminently likeable, although I have little patience, especially with technology and those who treat me like I am a moron when I don't know something about technology which they say "but everyone knows that".

I have yet to find the perfect expletive to express my frustration with technology on many an occasion, and there is only so many times I can f-bomb and c-bomb in one sentence before it loses its impact.

An excellent observation @pvtguy. Felicity (as I have named her), appears to have enough "spunk" that she would not stay with her husband because she feels obligated to do so, if he is a total arsehole. Dad, whom Felicity has referred to as Richard, presumably because this is his name and he is not just a "dick", may feel uncomfortable with his brother-in-law because he feels "obligated" to be so due to his upbringing; or he may have an inflated opinion of his own appeal and think that all "poofters" would not be able to keep their hands off him because that is what they are all are like and he is hot stuff. I have found, laughably on a number of occasions, straight men who thought I would take one look at them and want to bed them. Puhlease, I'd rather fuck a watermelon I said on one occasion. I am sure @Mark Ponyboy Peters will reveal more of Richard's character and his reaction to having a gay son as the story progresses.

I did not see the twist coming either, but unlike my fellow readers I am not feeling any sympathy for Rebecca. Neither Peter nor Aaron Jr intentionally hurt her, and to their credit both disclosed their feelings honestly without disparaging her in anyway. My response to Rebecca, what are you 12? Grow up Rebecca. So your ego has been damaged but Peter's non-attraction to you is not a judgment of you, just as his possible attraction to your brother is not a judgment of you. As for their mother, what a disappointment, like mother like daughter. Aaron Jr is better off without them. Excellent chapter @Lee Wilson. As you can see I am in the minority; no sympathy for Rebecca or her mother. Selfish hyenas both. Send them on a one way ticket to Peru.

'I'll blame your father for that one." there is as much a chance of Grayson's father welcoming a gay son as there is a transgendered Republican being selected to run in an electorate in Georgia or North Carolina. Mum, whose name we do not yet know so I am going to name her Felicity, is an eminently sensible, kind and patient woman. She is keenly aware of her husband's mindset and is enough her own person not to feel obligated to share said mindset. I suspect Bryan is likely her brother rather than Grayson's father's brother, reason being if his father is uncomfortable with Uncle Bryan being gay he would more likely have demanded his brother stay away, whereas to do so to his brother-in-law would incur the ire of Felicity. Oliver is a delightful child, and that is a statement as likely to come out of my mouth as one in which I state I agree with the Republicans on an issue. His sensitivity to Grayson's mood and state of well-being remarkable for such a youngster. He appears to be an affectionate boy too, without being annoying. Gotta love those bright green AussieBum undies @Mark Ponyboy Peters. All my undies, footy shorts, swimwear, T-shirts, trackpants and nylon singlets are AussieBum, so I am a big fan of their gear. And an excellent chapter. I am intrigued who the "mystery" texter is, presumably it is someone to whom Grayson has given his phone number.

Saiblene Lorelei Ursula Trump, commonly known by her initials SLUT, is eager for revenge. She has summoned the “Great Spirit of Darkness” to assist her to exact it. She may find herself in difficulties though summoning the “Great Spirit of Darkness”, overwhelmed by the sheer number and weight of those whom such a title befits. Reilly and Kris will make a formidable team until Kris hands over the reins for good, and with Nicky talking to and helping the animals’ things may be looking up for them. I must know @Ticklishboy30 will Reilly have his “own” reindeer, a special one to whom he is very close? If so, I think his name should be Rupert. There was more sex to be had, and if George is rewarded for his talents (which were prodigious to put it mildly), there should be a lot more to cum.

I admire Grandpa's curiosity and determination; he will need the latter to navigate his way through any kind of relationship he may form. Findings some like-minded friends with similar interests would be a good way to start. I also think he needs to reveal his true-self to Alan and Mason, particularly if he meets someone and decides to "entertain" at home.

Love it @Ticklishboy30. The Dancing Pectorals sounds like a great name for an 80's pop band, and boy those pecs should did dance. I had to laugh at the fire eater, I kept thinking he better not get too close to the band, especially the girls, as they looked to have so much hairspray in their hair it would ignite. The "blonde one" whom I thought you thought cute changed his hair colour for this appearance, although they all wore the same outfits as in the "official video" for the song. I really do quite like the song, very catchy. It reminds me a little of Toto Coelo who had a couple of hits in the UK and Australia in the early 80's, but nothing in the USA.

Maravilloso, esplendido @Gary L. A very impressive debut, one which had me running the gauntlet of emotions, running amok. Laughing, angry, fascinated and weeping, sometimes more than one emotion at the same time. "A thousand kilometres north-west, Consuela Orts i Roig sang out the Ave Maria as gustily as ever, proud of her leading position in the Midnight Procession. Suddenly her candle blew out." I almost peed myself laughing at this, her candle blowing out and then she dropped dead. Such dramatic imagery, such poetic justice. What a miserable old "carcass" (LOL @Tony R). I of course loved the inclusion of Greta as a vital member of the cast. For one brief horrible moment I thought maybe one of the eagles was going to sweep down and snatch her up, but fortunately this did not happen. I could not hurt one (I would be too frightened to even try), but I really do not like birds of prey at all, whether they be eagles, falcons, owls or any other. What a year for you @Gary L. First of all retirement, then moving across the Channel to a new homeland, then fatherhood and now the publishing of your first story on GA. What is next on your bucket list? Are you in the running to be cast as the next James Bond, modelling in posing pouches for Iverson's, a business partnership with Russ Kahn, your own reality TV show or a career in pop music as a member of a boy-band from Valencia? I hope to at least see more stories written by you on GA now that you have lost your "literary virginity", particularly if they are of the same calibre as this one.

A great deal of amusement in this chapter @Ticklishboy30, much of it courtesy of Leland, Roland, Stella and Kris. I found this comment about Father Time particularly funny "Thank the winter sprites that he's over that hip-hop, rap phase," Kris said. "I got so tired of calling him Funk Master Daddy Time." This chapter had a "fairytale" feel to it @Ticklishboy30, quite possibly because Nicholas and Reilly have now left Planet Earth (fabulous song by Duran Duran, one which they have never bettered IMHO) and gone to the North Pole (12" mix by Funk Master Daddy Time featuring Jack Frost, Stella Clause and The Nipple Erectors). And what better song to "portray" the fairytale quality of the North Pole than a song by the 80's version of the Brotherhood Of Man, Bucks Fizz (and the blonde one looks "mighty fine" in this video, a great outfit, very 80's @Ticklishboy30).

The head, Mrs Winston, another of your interesting and well drawn minor characters @Robert Hugill. And I just adored Reggie, this description of his character very appealing "They chatted further but the conversation had run its course. Reggie stood up and gave Ludo a superior stare and then they were gone." Do either of your puppies give you a superior stare @Gary L? Mrs Winston's concern for Damian was genuine and she offered some very helpful and sensible suggestions to Ludo to help Damian get his "bounce" back. She showed far more interest in and concern for Damian than his bitch of a mother ever has. I got the impression Mrs Winston has far less sympathy and patience with Jackie than what Ludo continues to maintain. I am hoping that if and when the time comes for Damian to visit Jackie in prison she refuses to see him. This would hopefully send a message loud and clear not only to Damian, but also to Ludo, what a thoroughly deceitful and despicable bitch she is. I fear you may be right @Gary L. Arthur's idea of a party is a good one if both Adam and Damian are agreeable to it. Having Graham and Edwin stay might be a good thing too, all of which might help Damian. Ultimately though a therapist might be needed. Damian appears to be quite like Ludo in that he bottles his feelings up, perhaps if he screamed like a banshee and called his mother all sorts of crude and disparaging names, none of which he should be admonished for, he might get some "relief".

I knew nothing about Mr Blobby @Ticklishboy30. I had read on a number of occasions it was voted the worst #1 song in UK history. The Brits have a reputation (at least in Australia) for liking novelty songs and embracing the absurd. I don't know why, but when I read this chapter I suddenly thought of Mr Blobby. When I found the song and was now aware of what Mr Blobby was, I thought it would make a perfect diversion for all the adults and children mentioned in this chapter. I am so not a morning person so would struggle to remain patient and sane in a household which embraces "morning joy". If they were too excitable I could play them this song by American/Australian singer, Joe Dolce, which peaked a #1 in Australia for 8 weeks in 1980/1981.

Peter has just landed his dream job and has a woman who is smitten with him without being suffocating, both of which appear to please him no end. @Lee Wilson has assured us nothing bad happens to Peter physically, which may mean he is in for a tough time emotionally and/or mentally as life is rarely smooth sailing in WilsonWorld, much as it is in the "real world".

The possibility of Reilly becoming the next Santa was a great surprise to me too @VBlew.

Geoff is far more confident in embracing his renewed interest in his own sex than I anticipated he would be. He was not at all reticent in talking to Jason in the restaurant and then accepting the invitation to go for a walk through the Boston Common. I wonder if a chance encounter with Jason may turn into a friendship with Jason and Chris. I am liking the pacing of this story; relaxed and unhurried.

A very revealing chapter @Ticklishboy30, with my favourite revelation being Nicky can converse with non-human animals. What a wonderful gift to be blessed with. A gift acknowledged with with and charm by Sammy Davis Jr in the attached clip.

I too am quite certain Grayson's mother is aware something is amiss, that something untoward has happened which Grayson is not yet comfortable disclosing. Our limited exposure to her thus far has not given us much information about her, but she seems to be caring, without being intrusive or demanding. She reminds me of Danny's mother (from The Seventeenth Summer for any not familiar with her) and for this reason alone I think Grayson is very fortunate. I think she is a much better option for Grayson to discuss with what has happened to him than his father appears to be. Mike's telephone messages suggest to me too he may not be fully aware of the extent of Shane's rapacious behaviour. This is consistent with comments made by @pvtguy that Mike may have been drugged by Shane. There is the possibility we are both totally wrong @pvtguy, Mike may be just as sleazy and predatory as Shane and just trying to cover his own arse, fearing some kind of reprisal from Grayson, which may cause him to lose his job, or worse still, be investigated by the police. Grayson's #1 priority should be having himself tested for an STI he may have acquired from Shane and/or Mike. I imagine interactions with Mike at work are going to be awkward at best.
