I never underestimate what scum some of our so-called fellow humans are. I am hoping @Ticklishboy30 that TL is bisexual and has a rendezvous with Janice, one in which it is her head which is slammed against a wall before her slow tortuous demise. I had vaguely remembered he was supportive, but to see his support again in writing was overwhelmingly moving. And finally, neither Tim nor Guy required any words of wisdom from Kylie, although I am sure she would have been only too happy to offer had they asked. Mikey and Dakota both strike me as having abundant kindness and a childlike innocence which has led both to being easily hurt. A learning opportunity presented itself in this chapter @Ticklishboy30; I had never heard the term Irish twin before. Linda's redemption is complete with Levie's acknowledgment all is forgiven since she and Tom took Greg in when his sperm donor and incubator exiled him from the family home. Reverend Maureen is a hoot and Mama Ev'lynn formidable, but the prevalence and acceptance of guns still disturbs me. I have seen the terms Mam-Maw and Pap-Paw before and am interested as to their origin. Are they terms commonly used in the south of the USA in lieu of grandmother and grandfather? The first time I saw Pap-Paw I read it as pawpaw, a fruit which I think American's refer to as papaya. It seems Dolly's I Will Always Love You triumphed again @Ticklishboy30. Depending on my mood, Dolly's version or Linda Ronstadt's beautiful version is my favourite, and whilst I now enjoy Whitney's version, it is never my favourite.
