    Chapter 21 S2

Yes, it's definitely on the boys' minds as well, especially since their mothers, particularly Mac's, keep mentioning it in a sly way. They're also getting suttle his from Gramps and Pops as well, so how could they not think about it?
  2. In Greek mythology, Thalassa is a Greek Goddess and a personification of the sea. Roman Mythology uses the name Mare as another name for Thalassa. With her male counter part, Pontus, she spawns the species of fish.
  3. This word comes from the Greek, thalassa (sea), to the French thalassique, and finally into English, thalassic, in the mid-19th century.

Yes, too much drama can overstimulate the characters and the readers, so we calm things down every now and then.

    Chapter 21 S2

Each one, Mac and Devin, can father one son each. They do not have to have their sons at the same time, but they can if they chose. The could also have one ten or twenty years from now, and the other 100 or 200 years down the road.

    Chapter 21 S2

Very interesting observations and questions. Yes, Pa, Gramps, and Pops have all had to build the fire pit multiple times already, and they'll probably be doing it many more times. I'm not sure they'd try cremating a body if one of them died, but like you said, lets hope that doesn't happen. When Mac and Devin use a surrogate to have a child, it would be born a natural skinwalker, but its abilities wouldn't show up until they began puberty. And each can father one male child. I hope that answers all of your questions.

Thank you, and cooking outdoors or barbequing is always more interesting when done on a makeshift fire pit, rather the one produced and sold for that purpose.

There's always that chance, but you'll have to come back next week to find out.
  9. Chapter 21 – Spending More Time at the Cabin As we were following his parents to the cabin, Devin and I chatted. “I can’t believe we’ll be in our third year of college when we return to Fort Collins in another month,” I stated. “I know, the time does seem to be going by quickly.” “Yes, it does, but not too quickly, I hope. Our classes this year will be more difficult than the first two years and I don’t want to be too rushed when completing my assignments.” “Yea

  11. Tyrotoxism is a poisoning caused by microbes in stale cheese and milk.

  13. From my research, rataplan is a loud, deep resounding noise - sort of like the bass on my neighbor's car stereo system.
  14. From the French and entered the English language in the mid-19th century.
  15. I look at rascallion as having the same root as rascal, and although rascal can mean playfully mischievous, it can also refer to a mean, unprincipled, and dishonest person.
  16. Some people use the term rascallion instead, but they mean the same thing. Rascallion comes from the Old French word rascaille, meaning rabble or a mob.
  17. The first know use of this word was in 1593 by Thomas Nashe.
  18. Yes, that's the one I was referring to. It looks just like the frogs in the GIF you used in your example for ranarium.
  19. You certainly wouldn't get much meat off of those frog legs. In fact, it reminds me of the Looney Tunes singing frog.
  20. When I saw this word, I was thinking it was one of those plastic cages that a hamster can run around in, possibly also with a hamster wheel. .
  21. Sometimes just to get away from it all.
  22. And I repeat the belated Happy Birthday wish for 6/12, Val, or possibly an early Happy Birthday wish for Friday/Saturday's celebration.
  23. I not only got Aussie out of that, but also someone who has been around for a few years, and possibly female (due to the Ms. Potter and Nancy Drew responses. I don't know many guys who have read Nancy Drew. The Hardy Boys, yes, but not Nancy Drew. I hope that doesn't sound sexist - just an observation.
  24. This isn't the only Word of the Day that we've discovered was mostly used in Scotland.
  25. I believe Myr has been using a 19th dictionary lately, because I hadn't heard many of the words he's been using over the past couple of weeks before.
