    Mac has a daunting road ahead of him, but Devin has given him a head start and will be there to guide him afterward as well. I'm sorry to hear about your weather and I hope you have air conditioning. I also hope you're prepared for a more severe hurricane season as well, because with the ocean getting warmer it means the hurricanes may be more powerful this year.

    I hope I'm not taxing you too much and you have to resort to tutorials from the Khan Academy, but I'm glad you're finding this interesting. I'm sure Mac will benefit greatly from what Devin has already taught him, because it will give him less to learn when he gets to the reservation. It's like having a tutor you have during the summer teach you the material of a course you'll be taking in the fall.

    Yes, it's much better if they live close by and you get to spend time with them. Unfortunately, for many grandparents that isn't the case.

    It was never clear how many sexual partners he had before he came to live with Josh, but he had a physical and got a clean bill of health. It's just that in the US at that time circumcision was very, very common, so someone with foreskin was a fascination to others. It's nothing to worry about.

    Some people erroneously believe that ambulatory means needing an ambulance, but fortunately that's not the case.

    Walkers and canes help humans remain ambulatory into very old age. I'm grateful I haven't reached that stage yet.

    Many vegetables, fruits, and nuts may be blanched. This includes almonds, hazelnuts, peanuts, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, green beans, leafy greens, peas, tomatoes, zucchini, yellow squash, and peaches, to name a few.

    The cartoons I watched when I was younger always showed people / animals getting bonked on the noggin. I'm surprised that more kids of that era didn't end up with concussions from emulating what they saw on the TV screen.

    Upper 80s to low 90s during the day, and then in the 70s at night.

    When I see the word jade, the first thing I think of is the jade Buddha. The next thing I think of is the word jaded, which describes a person who's bored, tired or lacks enthusiasm because they have a negative outlook due to past experience - in other words, they've lost interest.
