Eucalyptus is also used in many lozenges, cough syrups, rubs, antibacterial and antifungal creams and lotions, lotions for dry skin, and insect repellents. -
If you look closely, the blank were the I should be in AIR is brighter than than other blanks, which are more grayish in color, so obviously this puzzle was manipulated. I just double-checked by looking this up online and "LUCK BE IN THE AIR TONIGHT" was the correct solution.

I know it's 'Luck be in the air tonight', but it's ironic that the puzzle worked out that those were the missing letters. Do you think a crew member arranged that intentionally?

I believe Devin did feel badly that he had to stoop so low, but since Brent and Chris were the alpha and beta of their little group it was one way he felt he could separate them. I may be wrong, but I thought they had spoken with Barry and Adam about the noise, but the group would only quiet down for a short time after they were spoken to. However, I ended up rearranging the chapters multiple times because I thought something I used later should be moved earlier in the story, so possibly I accidentally cut it out of one of the chapters. If I did, then I apologize. FYI, I never lived in a dorm because I'd been in the army before I started my freshman year, so I was exempt to the rule that freshmen had to live in a dorm and never had to put up with that craziness.

When Mac has had enough of Devin's not keeping him informed, he'll be certain to let him know. As far as the aging thing goes, that will be addressed in another conversation.

After years of having to be secretive about his family, it's not easy for Devin to open up to others. If you remember, Devin wasn't able to be open and honest with Mac when they were younger, and I'm sure that is having some impact on how he's acting now. It will change eventually, and Mac is giving him the time to be more open, so I hope the readers will give him more time as well.

I'm glad you enjoyed the Bigfoot prank, and Devin was hoping that would be all it would take to solve the problem. Although Devin is using his ability to benefit him and Mac, he was looking at it as teaching an inconsiderate neighbor a lesson. Maybe this lesson went too far, but sometimes that happens.

It was hoped that the Bigfoot prank was all it would take to solve the problem, but unfortunately it only solve half of the problem. Thank you for the feedback.

As I mentioned to others earlier, Devin felt this was the last straw and he and Mac shouldn't have to go elsewhere to study just because of an inconsiderate neighbor. Yes, he took it a bit to far, but he was to the point where he felt he was running out of options. As far as the house goes, it's on one side of the campus while the dorms are on the opposite side. The buildings where they take their classes and where the dining halls are located are spread out in between, so they'd lose valuable study time by having to constantly go to the house, and that means lugging all their books with them as well. Since CSU doesn't allow freshmen to live off campus, they'd have to walk back to the dorm afterward, and that was just a bit too much. That's why Devin did what he did.

Yes, there were many failures that led to this episode, but Devin and Mac felt they shouldn't have to leave the dorm in order to get quiet study time. That might have been ok once in a while, but not nearly every day. Hopefully, this will work as they hope, but maybe rude people should learn to be more considerate so these things don't happen to them.

Devin is learning, although slowly, but you are correct that this trait comes from years of having to hide who he and his family are. I believe you'll see a gradual improvement where this is concerned.

Thank you, Terry, and I'm glad you enjoyed this chapter - to an extent. It's true that Devin might have gone a bit too far this time, but they'd given Brent and Chris two chances to reform. The first was when Mac went over and asked them to quiet down and the second was after the embarrassment of the Bigfoot prank to do what was right, but since neither of those worked so Devin felt he was forced to take this to the next level. I don't think even he felt good about doing it, but if it got them some peace and quiet so they could study, he felt it was worth being even more underhanded. I hope that clarifies the situation.

Thanks, Al, and Devin does seem to have a knack for getting even with others, but he's let Mac in on what he was doing - at least after the fact if not before. I'm glad you enjoyed this chapter.
