  1. @wildoneSteve, are you trying to jinx Aaron and get him hit by a snowplow or something else? You'll feel terrible if something actually happens to him. At least you'll know you'll have a white Christmas. 😜 😈 And are you suggesting that Aaron is a lush or just a conscientious employee that cleans up any messes he makes? 😅
  2. You're very welcome, and thank you for reading this story. I want you and all of the other GA members to have a wonderful Christmas, and don't forget to watch for those less fortunate than yourself.
  3. My husband, Yale, and I aren’t rich, but we live comfortably. We both have decent paying jobs and own a duplex house, and we live on one side while renting out the other. We’re very frugal and only go out to eat at a restaurant on special occasions and prefer to rent DVDs and watch them at home, rather than go to the movies. The only thing we do that may seem a bit odd and a little eccentric considering our spending habits is that we spend $2.00 every week to buy a lottery ticket. We figured
  4. A gay couple, Yale and Mason, own a duplex and live on one side while renting out the other. After Thanksgiving, they get an unexpected surprise when they discover they’ve selected enough of the correct numbers in the lottery to have won some money. They didn’t win a great deal, but now they’re deciding how to spend it.
  5. I agree with you, Max, and I'm glad you enjoyed this story.
  6. Flesco, thank you again for your feedback and kind words. I do what I can to offer something I think the readers will enjoy, and I'm glad you agree with me. Thanks once more and have a wonderful Christmas.
  7. Flesco, thank you for the feedback and your kind words. I hope some of the readers do pay it forward, in one way or another, because there are a lot of people that could use a helping hand. In fact, today as I finished my grocery shopping, I passed a guy holding a sign that said he was homeless and would appreciate whatever help you, meaning those passing by, could give. I stopped and gave him as much as I could afford, since I'm retired and living on a very tight fixed income, but I considered this an emergency situation. May you and yours have a Happy Christmas and a wonderful New Year.
  8. Thank you for the feedback Al, and I hope you and yours enjoy the true meaning of family and Christmas this year as well.
  9. Especially noted in speed readers and not to be confused with cicada, an insect that appears every 17 years.

  16. Part 1: Kelin “You look lonely,” one of the other partygoers said. “Didn’t you come with anyone?” It was early September and the fraternity was holding this little get together after the homecoming football game. “I guess you could say I did and I didn’t. I know that’s a strange answer, but it’s accurate. I was invited to this party by a one of my friends who’s a member of this fraternity. He invited a couple of others as well and we all came as a group, but the other guys
  17. Daniel Feeney and Kelin Rattler are juniors in college and meet at a fraternity party on Homecoming Weekend. They hit it off right away, but Daniel is hesitant about getting too close to Kelin because of bad experiences he had in the past. Will this time work out for him?
  18. Paul, thank you for the feedback and your kind comments about my stories. I'm glad you've enjoyed them. I hope you have a marvelous Christmas season and you are surrounded by the love of your family and friends during that time. I hope this is also true for everyone here at Gay Authors.
  19. I learned the meaning as 'sieze the day'. It's the basic philosophy of Hedonism, ot the idea that you should enjoy life while you can.
  20. Raven, thank you for the feedback and the kind words. I'm glad you enjoyed the story, and I agree. Everyone does need a bit of hope after the last few years, especially with the multifaceted attacks on the LGBTQ+ community. May the holiday and the New Year bring better news and the peace, joy, and hope we all deserve, and my you enjoy the peace and joy of Christmas while surround by your loving family and friends as well.
  21. Thank you for the feedback and I'd like to offer my condolences about your friend. Even though I don't know who it is, I hope his family and friends can find their own miracle to help them celebrate this holiday season. Seth may have lost both of his parents, but Seth and Adam seem to have acquired a new family thanks to their kindness and generosity. I hope life is so kind to your friend's family during this trying time. I wish you and all of them the happiest Christmas you and they can manage, as well as a wonderful New Year.
  22. Thank you for the feedback and Happy Holidays to you as well.
  23. Thank you, Dr. , for the feedback and the review. I couldn't agree with you more and it's time we put others first, instead of ourselves. Have a very Happy Christmas and look for the other two stories I will have coming out in the next few days. I think you'll enjoy those as well.
  24. Thank you for the feedback, Stix, and I hate to issue a spoiler, but I've written a couple of other stories that I'll be posting over the next few days. I hope you enjoy those as well and have a very jolly Christmas.
  25. Thank you, James, and I'm glad you enjoyed this story. It started off with a couple of very sad occurrences, but they took their grief and turned it into something positive. Thank you for your feedback and have a wonderful Christmas.
