  1. KC, you've got the DC part covered and I'm down in GA so no wonder we're both fans. I haven't read the comics, but I'm a super big fan of the show. I'd heard rumors about this before, but it's the first time I'd seen they'd cast the role, making it more likely to be true.
  2. It appears a gay character is coming to 'Walking Dead.' Here is the link for more information: http://tvline.com/2015/01/14/the-walking-dead-ross-marquand-cast-aaron-gay-season-5/

  4. Happy Birthday, Cassie! I hope it's a great one!
  5. You can see how the oil giants have conditioned us when we get excited and happy when the price dips below $3.00 a gallon.
  6. The Serpent Colossus fell away from Turquinine and lay sprawled across the path, its body still twitching with muscular spasms. Kieren, Garreth and Romaric, having observed the entire engagement from a safe distance, were still shaken by the events they had just witnessed. They remained frozen in place, realizing there was still a chance the leviathan might not actually be dead. Since they could see the serpent’s twitching form, doubts about its demise lingered in the back of their minds

  11. Upon waking the next morning, the members of the party grabbed a quick bite to eat before readying themselves for the trek on foot. Kieren, as well as the others, realized they had only finished the first phase of the journey and knew they must make haste, if they didn’t want to give Madumda the upper hand due to their lack of speed. To prevent this from happening, every one burst into action and was soon searching for his gear from among the supply crates. As they retrieved their own be
  12. I'm currently living in Georgia (US, not the former Russian Republic) but if I had to choose somewhere to live I would pick Australia. I love the country and the people I've met from there. I wouldn't have to learn another language either - well sort of. lol

    After the storm

Well written account of a tragic end, but a powerful message for all that read it. Nicely done, Dyno.
  14. The Spirit of Dr. Suess, live long and prosper. Totally amusing take on the subject.
  15. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone at GA!
  16. Many thanks and Happy Holidays to all who do so much to make this site the great place it is! I raise an Egg Nog toast in salute!
  17. The small band that had been selected to complete this mission began its journey with a very secretive and unceremonious departure from Leander. There was no pomp or celebration to launch this expedition, as would be fitting a person of Kieren’s rank. Instead, everything was carried out to mask their true intentions and avoid arousing suspicion about their travels. In fact, the wizard had taken every precaution possible to avoid bringing undue attention to any of the members of the party as t

    Fall From Grace

Thanks for the feedback, Dyno. Yes, there is a lot that is missing from history lessons, especially the contributions gays have made. Let's hope that will someday be corrected.
  20. Happy Birthday!
  21. Congrats Jo Ann and Ron!
  22. Welcome to the nut house, but you'll like it here.
  23. “Although it may be difficult for you to accept, Kieren, you are the only one who can fulfill the prophecy,” the wizard informed him. “You see, for years my evil brother has been doing magical scans of the countryside to detect those who are descended from the royal bloodline, no matter how remotely. During this time, he has slowly ferreted out each of the royal kin, except for you and your mother. The two of you are all that remains of Ethelbert’s bloodline.” Kieren listened carefully
