  1. Happy Birthday!
  2. You're welcome. Actually, I forgot to post the rest of the message after the (mispelled) location was mentioned. I can actually reveal it's somewhere in the United States, and rather north of Arizona. Other clue: there's an hotel called the Comfort Inn, plus the name of the location. But I'd bet The Goat
  3. Thanks for the money, Graeme. Of course, a small amount of money will yield only a small amount of information. Here is part of the message I got from CJ.
  4. He's watching us, this much I can tell. For the rest, a hefty money transfer on my Cayman Islands account, and you'll get the latest news on the Goat's whereabouts... (Hefty means at least a 5-figure amount. In euros)
  5. Yes, even the best people get accustomed to strong drugs.
  6. Happy Birthday, Drewbie!
  7. The Good: The manor will have its roof almost completely redone by Christmas. And CJ's money transfers are well-encrypted, so no tax issues, thank you CJ. The Bad: I've gotten addicted to his chapters, and I'm afraid the rehab will be expensive. The Ugly: I suspect he and Shadowgod are in league with the evil powers of the Dark Side.
  8. Yes, come back in one piece, my Cayman Islands account still needs more transfers. The roofers will need an extra 20% on the estimate for the manor's slate roof. It looks good so far, but it needs to be finished.
  9. Another YouTube version. The guy lip syncing is quite cute and has some nice facial expressions, and the sound's quality is great. A good video of Katy Perry's song. Edit: Carl is actually gay, or at least has a video called
  10. My hometown has Jules Verne all over the place: the university, the clinics, streets, avenues, his house turned into a museum... At some point I should (re)read it. Currently reading David Sedaris' When you are engulfed in flames. Birthday present from my sister, a hard-core Sedaris fan. We listened to a CD on Christmas Day two years ago. David rocks.
  11. Happy Bday, Ian. I hope everything's fine on your end
  12. FGTH= Frankie Goes to Hollywood
  13. You still haven't noticed the tiger in the FGTH video...
  14. Indeed... The chords are A, C, D, F, for you music inclined people. And the voice in this video is quite appropriate (but for the 'boy' overdub stuff...) But, but... You didn't notice the tiger in the FGTH video?
  15. I must agree with JFalkon on this one, a story involving male characters is written by a male, one about female/not sure characters turns out to be female, so, no big worry. Unless your story was about Yukon lumberjacks trying to build a dam and make themselves a hut for the winter...
  16. It seems the bear threat happens to be quite serious. Actually, my friends who crossed the US on kike did have some encounters with a grizzly bear, but they did not bleat. Please, CJ; do have a nice trip, maybe, but make sure you get all the chapters for CL(IFF) done before you leave, and DO MAKE SURE you wire the money transfer to the bank before you leave. Half of the mansion's roof is in your hands man, uh, goat...
  17. Jill Sobule is, like, so yesterday... Seriously, great song (thr Jill Sobule one), I think I saw it because of GA a few months back. This site is ripe with people willing to lead the poor innocent me astray. As for Kate Perry, she's got a hit, and that's a hit, plain and simple. A catchy chorus, which actually starts the song, basic and efficient rhythm and chords, great lyrics, mixing lust and guilt, how can you actually get it wrong for a judeo-christian audience raised on R n' R?
  18. Not sure. Maybe it wouldn't have been this explicit. Though she's kind of apoligizing for enjoying it. For the non-overwhelmed by the song playing on airwaves: This is definitely lesbo exploit! Just wish there had been a video with a young Pam Grier, this would have topped it all! As for the censorship, well, one of the mainstreams I had access to when I was barely in my teens(on TV, mind you!): . This beats kissing a girl, hoping the boyfriend doesn't find out, doesn't it? (I hope a special someone will notice the fierce tiger...) A very apt comment on the Youtube page: I guess it's only a Youtube comment, but it's among the best. BTW, I think Katy coined out a great song.
  19. I tried it with yet another story, Imprisoned in Silk (dealing with forced feminization, yes, this is the kind of stuff I write sometimes...) So yes, JFalkon, you must be right. This story has mainly female characters. And a happy ending, but this genie doesn't yet compute this type of content. The next step would be to have a program rate the cliffhangers in a story. Maybe CJ would eventually have to get out of his denial.
  20. Darn! We had goats, a frog, an echidna, and other animals that don't come up right off the bat. And now we've got a horse... BTW, the guy next to you with a hat has a very cute smile...
  21. Ok, I did it with Quite a Boarding School, which is on our site and not on eFiction. Words: 26143 (NOTE: The genie works best on texts of more than 500 words.) Female Score: 26041 Male Score: 31698 The Gender Genie thinks the author of this passage is: male! And the Genie is quite right. I still haven't gotten around to read the long PDF explaining the gender issue in writing. And my word processor is not on steroids. And I didn't rub the genie for hours so that he'd spit out this result...
  22. CJ got hypnotized into creating this very thread.
  23. I have the unpleasant feeling the "contact", an "unnamed man" who won't tell his name and who got deaf because of a recent explosion could be some old acquaintance... At first I wondered whether it was Yuri, but could BOTH Yuri and the Scar have survived? As for Eric, he's going through lots of efforts to set up a party he's likely to ruin by drinking too much tequila...
  24. As I had a go at the new cuil search engine, I typed in "evil cliffhangers". Here is what you can read on the result page:
