  1. Thus the jibe!
  2. Of course, if the story goes to 200 chapters, just about anything can happen!
  3. I can’t help thinking that the chapter title is a premonition since it refers to Nathan. But then I guess Neverland could also refer to something like: it can never happen—again. Anyway, very nice chapter, Dodger. Nathan got his revenge on Don across nicely. Also a very nice chapter ending. I really like Conner, and apparently Robbie does too. Swedish is pretty cool!

Thanks for the comment, Peter. Maybe it’s because Mark has the “lawyer gene”. I recall the old saying, “Only thing worse than a used car salesman…” Anyway, everyone reads a story differently. Mark will come through later in the story.

Thank you, for the comment, Wesley. I guess Marilyn considers her son’s being gay a character flaw. Most parents hope for the perfect child, without flaws.

    Chapter 5

EARLY MONDAY EVENING, DAY 6 “Hi, Marilyn,” I greet Mickey’s mom with a smile. “Hello, Mark,” she smiles back. “It’s nice to see you again.” “Hey, mom, I’m going to spend the night at Mark’s house,” Mickey says offhandedly. It looks like she’s in the process of making supper. “I wanted to let you know so you wouldn’t worry. I also need to get my tooth brush and stuff and a change of clothes for tomorrow.” “Oh, okay.” She looks surprised. “Are you planning to stay for supp

    Chapter 6

Great story and great chapter. I’m reading both stories and really like them. Much different perspective of Kevin here. I tend to regard Becker as a spoiled brat, where I didn’t see it that way in The Four Years of Adam Becker. Thanks.

    Chapter 4

Mark had an interest in Mickey from the moment he saw him. The color of Mickey’s eyes played a part in it too. After meeting Mickey, his interest grew into something that he wanted to further explore. Kind of like love at first sight. Once Mark established a friendship with Mickey, he discovered just how much he really liked the guy. Add to that his suspicion that Mickey might be like him preference-wise. To Mark, a relationship becomes truly meaningful when it becomes sexually intimate; thus his desire for a sexual relationship with Mickey when the tide turned with the kiss. Mickey is complicit, too, by seeking out Mark’s class, inviting Mark to dinner and meeting his mother (his main objective) and initiating the kiss. From there, they both wanted more, which happened at the falls and then later in this chapter. But I agree with you, Mark’s terminology could have been more considerate in this instance. “Made him mine” is not meant to be possessive, but endearing and intimate. Thank you for the comment, Peter.
  17. I really hope that Jonah is on the level. I suspect that he is. I, too, wonder what has happened in his past to bring him to such dire straits. Maybe Brian should discuss it with him. Of course that would make it look like he cares, which I think he does. He’s got a decision to make too. Either cut Jonah loose or reel him in. Then work around the consequences. I know, easy to say… Good chapter, Gabriel. Thanks.

    Chapter 4

MONDAY AFTERNOON, DAY 6 “Hi, Mark.” Like last Friday, Mickey is waiting for me in the hallway as I leave my Constitutional Law class. “Hey, Mickey,” I smile as I approach him, wanting to embrace him in my arms and press a kiss to his lips, but I don’t since neither one of us is out. “So, were you able to get Jimmy to change with you today?” “Yeah. I owe him big time, though.” However, I have every reason to believe that it’ll be more than worth it. “So, want to go to my place

    Chapter 3

EARLY SATURDAY AFTERNOON, DAY 4 I eye Mickey’s lithe body, particularly the gracious curves of his butt, as he bends over slightly, cradling the ball in his hands and focusing on the pins at the end of the lane. I keep my eyes on it as he approaches the foul line and smoothly releases the ball. Perfect form, the sexy curves of his butt captivating me even more as he nearly touches the lane with his knee and releases the ball. “It’s a strike!” he exclaims, pumping his fist as the ball curves

    The Sighting

I think dad was meant more like the term man, like, “Yeah, man,” although I was surprised by the ending, at first taking dad to mean father. I like it, Ivor, whether it goes on from here or not.
  25. Thank you for providing this Signature Author Special Review. Some I've read, but most of them I haven't. No Shirt? No Problem by C James and Between the Lines by Comicality were very good, so I expect the others will be just as good.
