........I think Rune overheard the phone call after he came back from setting up the picnic, saw the aftermath, and when he checked on Scott was consumed with guilt that everything he touched had went bad. Rune left because he did not want to cause anymore pain to Scott, in Rune's eyes he blames himself. BTW, That had to be the most evil cliffhanger ever here on GA (maybe even 2 if that is possible) . Rune's return will be interesting, 2 years gives them both time to grow and for pain to heal. I think it might be fun to have Rune show up at Scott's school, and perhaps run interference to ...maybe some bullies? Next book will be enlightening, as Rune will now tell all to Scott!, the mystery to be revealed and more healing to begin! The locket carries secrets as does the watch. Great story, do not stop with it!! Bad enough leaving us all evil cliffhangers!!!

...............Hmm! It's nice to know that Dirks rock will complete the circumnavigation! With Gonzales now focusing on Jim and Dirk as murder suspects, I think that Dirk will have to come clean on Rachelle's whereabouts to save Jim from indictment. How revealing will Dirks' long held secret be? Will it be enough for Gonzales to look elsewhere? Now that Bridget and George have Trevor's itinerary, I notice airports close to his designations, will Sanchez finish the job himself? Of course there is always Julie to consider, she has been out of the picture of late. I wonder if Bridget will slip up to Lisa and not realize it, will Lisa finally understand sweet ole Bridget just has too much information on Trevor ? Perhaps information of Trevor's destination that could have only been overheard on the land line? Question is, will Joel and Lisa trust telling Gonzales? ............Gay marriage means equality to me, but does it happen? I mean if say those California marriages are recognized by the state does the federal government recognize them? Has anyone sued the social security system for not recognizing the marriage when it comes to collecting benefits for the spouse? Or even collecting when the death of one occurs? If a state legally recognizes a marriage but the federal government does not, how much closer to equality did they achieve? Baby steps, nothing more then that.... I think the question for everything, ENDA, DOMA, DADT and gay marriage lies with SCOTUS, Congress and the President are helpless in the backstabbing fashion that politicians are so used too.

.........Just found your story, it is a fascinating read, mysterious and with a somewhat bitter-sweet sadness. Half the time you have me believing that this is all in Scott's head with Rune being imaginary. Other times I can't help but feel that Rune has already killed himself and is a spirit walking the earth. I can't wait to how this progress's. Great story, looking forward to more!!

...............Yep, the Egyptian police will tie it back to Dirk, a tie-in too nicely wrapped up to suit Detective Gonzalez's liking. I'm waiting for him spot Bridget and George together with those night-vision glass's. He already suspects Bridget of sending the e-mails, and once seeing George coming up to Bridget's dock in the Sea Witch, he will know who the leak is. Will he suspect George is involved in something else, or will it take Joel & Lisa's drug bust for him to figure that out! So much going on! I think Trevor's voyage to Australia is coming up real soon, and things are going to happen fast, as Trevor is still not out of danger. Sanchez still wants the contract filled.
