    Marc has firmly made Jonathan a truth teller. He demonstrated once again that he is not the man his sperm donor thinks he is. He is a much better man. This is a story to read again and again.

    Rainy but no snow in the lower, southern Appalachian foot hills. I’m a voracious reader looking forward to retirement with the great, grateful gift of deciding how I spend most of my time now. I’m reading up on @Libby Drew and I’m a new and future fan. Seems I could have been beautifully choked up a dozen years ago by her characters. Happy to meet them now.

    I had a thing for Flock of Seagulls and their hair. I was headed out for a date and my father followed me with one of my sister’s barrettes. Told me if I was going to drive his car I was getting that hair out of my eyes. The higher the hair… At least I know why I’m balding now. Too much Aquanet then…

    I find myself unable to leave this page without commenting though I will endeavor to keep my words few. As a man born to love men, descended from a family tree decorated with confirmed bachelors, spinsters, priests, nuns and childless couples, I am deeply moved by the gentle and accepting nature of this story. I will turn the page hopeful that my ancestors of this, and every, era experienced their own Sven, Nels, or something of equal beauty.
