Flip-Flop

A sad chapter with Darren picking through the pieces of his past life with his family. This is a very tough thing to do, at any stage of life. Thank goodness he now is with Luca, and his family now. He will need all of their love and support going forward. The shock of his new reality is really just beginning to sink in. 😢

Sadly we will feel the effects of the polar air flow for at least the next two weeks, with temps well below normal. This means very frigid cold air with little relief in sight, and very high utility bills, with cloudy short dark days ahead of us! The Great Lakes effects on snowfall can be very heavy in my area. Not a good sign. for the days ahead of us in Northern Ohio, or for anyone around the Great Lakes.

The "smitten energy" has turned into confessions of love by the younger couple, encouraged by their dinner mates. Once again it appears our family group will add another special member. Erik and Kahiau's relationship will grow as we readers have started to expect. Love is growing here, much to everyone's delight. The new couple are now busy sealing their commitment to each other❣️ 🥰

Wow, a lot can/will happen in the next two weeks, before Dan's next appointment with Nathan. Let's hope the combined support of their loved ones will be able to keep a close eye on the brothers, and things stay under control. Meanwhile the police are busy building cases and connections, in this far reaching, and very complex porn network. This was an excellent chapter that flushed out many of the readers concerns, as things are starting to pile up quickly in this story. Very well done @Paladin. Michael won the gold medal for his swimming talents at the YMCA, and now he and Stephen are going to do an exhibition of their joint talents. How will their friends react? This may not be the best time or place for this show. We shall see if this act comes back to bite them later. Mlni Orgy???

The build up to Erik and Kahiau's futute relationship grows, as he arrives at the island home. That includes Erik paying special attention to every little detail. There are high hopes for this meeting, and the connections between everyone there, especially for a very anxious Erik. 🥰

No surprises here. We all have expected Erik and Kahiau to make a deep connection. I am also expecting a revealing swim, after an excellent dinner with interesting conversations tomorrow night. 😁

Darren is still in a state of shock, after losing his parents, and was facing an unknown future. Hopefully he will be able to to stay with the Luca, and his family. He needs to land in a loving stable environment. He has suffered a lot already, for someone so young. ☹️ It will take time for this new reality to all sink in.

Their meal was so far from anything I am familiar with, being a meat and potatoes midwesterner. It sounded so exotic, compared to my usual fare. These two are definitely smitten with each other, no question about that fact!

What could he need to to explain to Todd, before calling the police? We all know that calling the police will entale massive questioning and suspicion. Kilroy needs to think things over very carefully, before he calls in the police.

I too had timeline confusion when John stated about work he had done to the path stone border "he had laid last spring"? Elias was also not mentioned in this chapter. Was he still there or did he return to the mainland? What changes will Kahiau inspire within Erik? This should be interesting!

This story was billed as a prequel to the author's highly recommended story "Mickey" story which had 28 member recommendations. There is also another story prequel in this series that the author plans to release, "Connections" in 2026. Peter's Story develops complex characters and relationships that may play a part in "Mickey" and in our next installment of this series of stories. It tells the story about Peter and how he and his now husband Marty, have overcome the many obstacles and challenges they have faced and dealt with, during the years after first meeting in college. Now they are making plans to start to raise their own family, but face a very uncertain future. You will love these two young men, and the large supportive family, that now surrounds this couple. It is an emotional story filled with health concerns about Peter, and husband Marty stepping up and trying to make sure he can support the couples planned family in their future. This was an excellent read with dramatic content, and high expectations of more of this great story promised in 2026!

That was a quick hearing, with mixed results for the perpetrators. Micheal and Stephen were fortunate that Dennis Albert witnessed the attack, and testified in court. The judge made decent decisions after hearing the court testimony, but will it effect all of the boys future behavior? We shall see. The purpose of the lawsuit was to make them think, before acting out again against the boys. In answer to @Summerabbacat's comment. Guns are way more of a problem in the USA, than lawsuits, IMHO . Everyone should understand the danger of the easy availablity of guns have in our daily lives. Our newspapers are filled everyday with the problems, and the innocent victims left in their wake. Unless the victim dies or is a child, it is just glossed over. 😠

The artists met Markus, who appears to be a major supporter of the island's artistic community. Along with his shop, he also owns five art galleries across the islands. Sounds like he may have a big part to play in their future! Eric also met a very handsome local man kahiau Lanikai, who works for Markus, and wants to take Erik on a pleasure tour around the island. It appears that some interesting connections are being developed in this chapter.

We have just endured our first taste of freezing winter winds and snow, and you have to tease us with living in this lush tropical island paradise. Have you no shame?

Another great rom/com by this author! This brought back many memories of the Y2K scare. Yes, we all survived that doomsday worry, but this story helped to create a new understanding for these 2 guys. Well done, I loved it ❣️

Peter's speech was so touching, that I had tears in my eyes also. I really loved this story, and all of the growing cast of Kovar family of characters. This story was billed as a prequel to the Mickey story. @Connectwriter writing a story titled "Connections" seems very fitting right now. Next year seems so far off at the moment, but we will be looking forward to your next installment, in this wonderful story. for sharing all your stories and talents with us❣️

The guys are just starting to get settled into their new Hawaiian home, and are planning to see the local sights. The new studio will be a great workspace and will meet all their artistic needs. The water holding tank has to be hugh, to supply all of water needed for the large property!
