Any chance Adam is actually his father? I suppose either is possible. I also have a suspicion he’s also truly gay too. No reason why I do, just a suspicion. I really like Charlotte. She’s gonna be Artie’s best friend. Artie is coming around to his sexuality which is good albeit awkward for him. Hell everything is awkward for him. Dizz is rubbing off with the spontaneity, which is cute but I don’t see them being a thing. That whole Brian scene was super spontaneous for Artie. It through me off. Like it was too soon or something. Artie just doesn’t come across as that confident in himself to be that random because the next minute he’s all shy and quiet again. Ky definitely has a big opportunity and knows it IF Artie can get over his nerves.

So ok, Artie doesn’t even have a clue yet but he’s already falling for both boys. Will he be exclusive to just one? Or no? Ok yes they’re all cute in their own way. Even when Artie says he’s not gay it’s like he’s lying to himself to convince himself of that and it seems weaker every time. I’m more partial to Ky though. Dizzy is too …well let’s just say his nickname is still very appropriate to him. Ky seems to have a great heart. Which, I think Artie desperately needs in a friend or more. All 3 of the friends seem to have great hearts tbh. It sounded like Adam forgot about Artie and only remembered when Artie walked into the door at 6pm. I wouldn’t think I’d be very comfortable being a new kid to a completely new world full of not just adventure but also threats. Threats he’s got no idea about or what to watch for. Adam seems almost aloof. He’s guarding something about himself and his job.

Well, from Corey’s perspective, he’s very justified. His dad treated him like shit before. Worse actually by laying hands on him. Never a nice comment to him. Always berating and judging it’s a wonder he’s got any self esteem much less love towards his father. I’m surprised he hasn’t totally tried to commit suicide from all his berating

I don’t think Greg is toxic but he was pushy. Too push for Corey’s taste and the fact he was engaged and didn’t say he was was a flag for me at first.

The relationship Jenny and Corey have built is turning into a life long friendship. He’s beginning to understand her nearly as well as she does him. I think Corey being outed answered a lot of questions for Jenny that were creating tension between them and now that they’ve been answered the tension is gone and they’re really growing as friends.

I think when Corey challenged his dad if he ever loved him it sparked something in his Dad. I’m impressed and glad. I like this Dad.

Excellent chapter. I love the comic relief Keith and Andy bring. I was laughing out loud a few times at their foolery. Jenny has proven to be an amazing friend. As has Corey. His father is essentially a Neanderthal while his mother is amazing.

Whew. I was really cringing at Corey’s poor decision going back after Greg last chapter. Greg’s decision to push him back to get closure with Clinton surprised me. That could go either way. Also it tells me Greg is either a bit more cunning or at least experienced enough to know if things go south with Clinton, Corey will “run to open arms” as Jenny said. On to the two knuckleheads. I love these two already. They have a quiet intelligence and muscle to go with it that is absolutely adorable. The fact they’re backing Corey up is exactly what he needed to hear. I don’t think he’s got anything to worry about when it comes to CJ. That dumb ass already lost his shot with Jenny. I think Cora will handle Lee.

First off, Damn Jenny! Love that. He had it coming in spades. Secondly, Clinton better get a spine and stand up for Corey if he’s truly wanting to be his boyfriend. Whose side will he take the next time Cj and Corey are in each other’s presence? It would not shock me if Corey loses his brain for a second and his mouth gets CJ mad enough to charge him and a true fight brakes out?’

I have to applaud Greg as difficult as it is, for at least trying again to win over Corey. He royally fucked it up but I’m also ok with that too. Again, his listening skills absolutely suck. But in the end, he finally accepted his fate and listened to Corey when Corey wanted to be taken home. As with everyone else, you don’t take a noob ice skating who’s already got a broken forearm. Corey is listening to his gut for once and he deserves credit there. He never really did give Clinton the opportunity to explain why he said what he said. Clinton is in an impossible position at the moment and I’m warming to him slowly. Greg, no. Kudos to Jenny. She’s got our boy figured out through and through and isn’t as shallow as I initially thought.

I rest my case with Greg. Doesn’t listen. Corey clearly stated to him he wasn’t interested. Yet he’s like a stray. You feed him once and now he stays.
