I know it's not exactly the original question, but if we look back in time, we could see that years back there was more and more relationship that lasted for a longer period of time,,, Why, I'd say that in our days, both partner tends to have their career and it occupies a good part of their live. Therefore they don't have time for each other and from time to time it drift them apart as they yield to achieve at higher level. Also I'd say that there's lack of communication in a relationship.

It seems like there's a whole damn long list of bad remakes,,, but I'll add one of my own,,, I'm surprised that it wasn't said already... "Taxi" the hollywood adaptation of the french movie of the same name. I have nothing against queen latifah nor against the mac guy, it's just that they coulda make a better plot. But I totally agree to say that True lies will stay as the best hollywood remake.

ya, sorry, I haven't seen this earlier,, I mean,, with work and with staying more often at jason's without internet,, well the times that I do come and read the posts,, I miss a few,,, Like it's been said earlier,, maybe in the middle of winter ain't the best time of the year to invite everyone to drive to montreal,, maybe a little more during the spring/summer would be better,,, something like a nice day ending with watching the fireworks,, Tho for us that are in montreal, ya,,, meeting up for a game could be very interesting.. I haven't asked jason but i'm sure he'd be up for it. as for me,, as long as I'm not working that evening,, yup

Winnipeg?!, umm, I know they had their team,, but,, nope,, I don't think it would be a good idea to go back there,, and don't get me started with another team in toronto's area,, let's think this through correctly,,, they have, toronto, buffalo, detroit, all of them within 4 hour drive or so,,, adding another team in that area would be REALLY stupid. Also,, I'll be honest and say, NO to a team in Quebec either,, I don't think it would be that profitable. Also,, expansion in Europe as you've said would be very impractical,, tho,, a stanley cup final featuring the top team of the NHL vs the russian one,, ,,, OMG', no, the stanley cup should always be the biggest honnor in the NHL,,, if you wanna make a new tourney like the best 6 team competing for a new title, that might be worth thinking about (not sure it's worth to try tho) but not share the stanley cup with another league...

My opinion on this is simple,, I want my writing to be as close to real life as possible. If the character is 16, well I'll choose name that was popular 16 years ago. I won't do a gwyneth palthrow of me (naming a character Apple) and therefore I will use common names... Of course, if I'm writing about a german kid,, I'll find a german name,, etc.... Everytime I used a special name is because I know someone that's named that way, and I don't think it shows a lack of imagination

Right now i'm reading a not so recent book but quite good. Night Probe by Clive Cussler the fuel cost is rising, the USA needs to find some energy source, Quebec is menacing to seperate and form a pro communist country and menace the electric energy source to the USA... Some student finds traces of a north american treaty,,, the British had approached the USA to sell Quebec,,,Tragedy strikes when, on the same day in May 1914, the American copy of the treaty goes to the bottom of the Hudson River when the Manhattan Limited attempts to cross a downed railroad bridge and the British copy goes to the bottom of the St. Lawrence River when the liner RMS Empress of Ireland is accidentally rammed by a Norwegian collier. With both nation's copies of the treaty destroyed Wilson orders all records of the treaty destroyed and records the $150 million payment as a war loan. ... really it's a good story I personally like it for the real facts of the books.. also because I dove in the empress of Ireland

Not definitely, it really depends on how you say it. If you say it without explanation, ya he could misunderstand and tension could rise. But If you make sure that you're giving your opinion putting aside any feeling, being rational, he will understand. Therefore the risk of ruining the friendship is low, specially with everything it's been said that they don't want to brake their friendship. But of course you can't warn him about his ex then going on telling him bluntly that you love him. I personally "warned" my best friend about different things over the last two years. And yes I had/have feeling for that guy, sometimes it was really hard to do. You have to align yourself with Nathan tho, meaning that you should warn him, yes, but make sure to tell him that it comes down tho what he decides and that whatever happen you'll still be there.

I agree with everyone and everything that's been said up to now,, you really have to do it,, do it sooner rather than later,, right now it's not yet too late, in 2 weeks it might be... or at least for some time. I don't want you to regret the fact that you haven't tried anything. Also, he might have the same feeling but push them back. A point that, I think, haven't surfaced,, you mentioned that his ex treats him as crap... well as a friend you should sit with him and talk about it. He might not listen to you, but you at least need to make him know that you care for him that way too.

Well, I'm celebrating that the store that I'm working at it finally opened! And the fact, that I have now a possibly permanent job that I like way better than when I was at the hospital, even if i'm working crazy hours.
