What a great way to honor a good friend. The ending and promised future were very heartening. It is a happily ever after story. Until the end, I thought Nick would not speak his mind. He had a crush on a former high school friend who he just found out was gay and single. They got along very well. But, Nick kept passing on speaking his mind as they finished their regular day. He lacked confidence. This was going to end sadly, I expected. He got up his courage and finally wrote to Brock late at night and asked for a date. Brock said yes right away. Definitely notify Caleb's old pack about his poisoning. The bastard may still be present hurting others. The poisoner should be found. Given the foul taste , I suspect the material had to be added to spicy food or something expected to be mean to consume like old coffee. Could a cook at the diner or someone who regularly brings spicy food to a joint meeting at the lodge or maybe someone who knows what food Caleb especially likes be seen a likely culprit ? Caleb was blackmailed. Another pack member could be blackmailed , too.

I feared their meeting. Deirdre has been such a nasty piece of work. But the meeting turned out to be anticlimactic. She wanted Jasper and not her son who she thinks is gay, Home life with the three would be terrible. She gave up Toby to Brian without any hesitation. Toby easily fit into his new family. Gordon was very agreeable. Even Toby's school life was calm and he told others about his two dad's. Life is good !

Finally ,some clarity Beckett healed Valrinda who was poisoned, Bekett is a fire mage and he did not know it. Valrinda has been told where the star is. They are going for it, Expect danger and fierce some beasts trying to stop them. Things never go according to a plan,

What a fantasy ! We do not really know what happened to Greg, He does not have bruises and broken bones as he though., He must have been drugged, He woke up completely redressed with his family missing and place. empty. Disoriented, he is called on a cell phone and told he passed a test and has a job and will be picked up and taken to a placed to act as an escort. Failure means losing his family. He is wearing outlandishly , peculiar expensive clothes and driven inhigh style with 4 armed guards to see a Baron, an overweight 50ish man who is dressed as a young girl. Greg is given a bad blow job and spanks the girl. No wonder he is blackmailed and put to the test. His job pushes the limits of behavior even for Greg. He cannot say no or lose these he holds dear. Now what! Will he get a good review and kept on by the agency ? Who is in charge of him? He has some debt he must pay off. Why ? Is he in some form of slavery and never going to make a profit? Is this a final role and when he is no longer needed will he be killed for knowing too much?

Thank you for tying things together quickly. We know about Caleb's poison and Asa's abilities. We now have a time and rough plan for his potential physical healing. It is a new effort for ASA. I hope he can heal Caleb. This healing is needed so they can begin the mating process. Caleb still has to work out his depression pressures. It will not be easy. These two can be a strong team and will help each other.

Wow--this started out calm and all said who they were and described their skills and experiences. The young nobles pledged to obey Adga and will be junior and the lowest rank of the team. The had fought in mostly practice situations, The Crags are damn scary and inhabited with death walkers and flesh walkers, Adga and her crew engaged some terrible creatures and fought bravely and fiercely. The description of the combat was compelling and heart rendering worrisome. The young nobles held back and were too tentative. Aga had to force them to fight and they slowly began taking on the enemy. The creatures were destroyed, and their heads bashed to prevent them for coming back to fight in another form, Adga painfully felt compelled to smash the head of a young kid who she would not be able to take with him. Completing the mission came first. I hope the young nobles turn around , become aggressive in battle and bond better with the team. They are young and have been bloodied. The other fighters shown themselves to be very effective and able to meld their skills to help each other. Adga is a new leader and has made a hard decision about life and death. She will have more tough decisions to make, I expect. She is a magnificent warrior and is showing she is the right person to head this mission.

With a bit of anguish and concern along with sharp guidance from GG, the adoptions went forward. Colin and Armand have two new legal sons: Charles and Pierre. Christian must have agreed when the judge called him so there will be no problems later. The boys easily fit in with their larger family. A fishing trip Saturday should be a great time for all of them. Colin and Armand are uncommonly generous and welcoming. They are very devoted and supportive of people in their charge. GG plays a central role in strengthening the family.

No mention was made of a possible ship for George. I suggest with this thawing of relations, it is no longer a question of if but now when. George is not pushing the matter and St Vincent is besieged with requests. George needs time to handle, among other priorities, his personal and financial matters, resolve his Caroline issues, get his new house ready to be built and see what he needs to do about Calvert. It would be wonderful if he could feel good about his situation at home before he was set to leave. But, things are not always easily solved. I bet when George is given a ship, it would lead to an end of Northern Exposure and the start of a new book.

Brian and Gordon and Toby met both set of parents and passed muster. Gordon's parents, the ex-hippies, pushed the envelope and offered some new to them at first options. They wanted to throw the boys and engagement party due to a misunderstanding, Gordon and Brian had not considered getting engaged yet, They decided , though, go give them a welcome home party. His parents offered to go swimming in the nude in the future, They have done this before even when Gordon was a young boy. It is a natural practice and they were comfortable about it. Brian and Toby thought about it and finally agreed to do it with Gordon's family, It's a new world with them and much different then Brian's family. Meeting the family went along well and both sons were accepted and made to be a part of a now larger family. I can see, though, that they are giving Brian's ex more reasons to want to keep Toby way from them. The welcome back party is a great idea but will quickly spread the word that they are gay and will live together when Toby visits. The nude swimming party including Toby might really enrage his ex and Jasper. I can see fireworks ahead,

Nathan to the rescue! Greg's private doctor will see that he is given the best of care when he learns of his situation. But turning him into Robocop is disorienting and quite a new result !

Calling someone "pumpkin" is what an adult might call a charming child he knows and likes or cares for is some way So, is this tormentor someone from Greg's childhood who was a friend or relative? This is a potential emotionally disturbing betrayal if and when he figures out who the person from his past is. But for now, hopefully he can find medical care and live.

Kavan searches for evil vampire killers and eventually finds a killer who tries to destroy him. He has made new discoveries, but all seem lost now. He reuses to drink from Gideon to save himself. He did not want to bond with Kavan and he wanted to honor Gideon's wishes at the risk of his death. A unknown powerful vampire feeds him his blood instead. It is not Gideon. Is it the Conte or...?

Wow-Greg is beaten , tied up, immobilized and sadistically tortured for hours. They want to know about Danny, Greg does not tell then anything. How did he survive? He needs hospital care for his terrible injuries. He hears snippets of information, He think someone sounds familiar but he cannot remember who. I hope he gets care. How will his son and father cope without him? He cannot support them while injured. Who is behind his attack and torture? Will they go after him again?

The duke is named regent and put his men in power and took hostages. He is merciless. Gustave and Fran are held by the Doke. Ed is helping Edith prepare her forces and is training new recruits, Much is up in the air and much is not known, Edith is not in a good place but she has faith and charisma. They plan to attack and want to get a foothold by capturing the duke's home city. Fran and Lothar meet and note the wide unrest in the city and the fires outside. Fran announces it is time to kill Gustave. They need to blame his death on the protestors, I assume. But, this is a very risky move. The duke might see through this ploy. Next up--violence, confusion and lots of blood spilled. It should be fascinating.

If Caleb can be involved in helping repair and make normal the hybrids, I bet he will have the best therapy to cure his guilt and depression--Just saying it is one welcomed possibility.

So when Asa checked out Caleb was he acting as a type of mass spectrometer and MRI and probaby can analyze anomalies in Caleb ? I hope he can repair and restore Caleb. His physical state needs improvement from the poisoning. 'He will still need counseling to smooth out the negative way he has been thinking and help working on the guilt feelings he taught himself. Perhaps when the pack alpha learns of Asa's shifter skills , he might see a possibility for Asa to help the hybrid pups ?
