He wants a business relationship and is not out of the closet. Who will say something first to break the ice? Maybe, instead they will stay professional and not become personal? Owain visited his new firm's location. It has a mix of people and the usual politics and different agendas--even a handsy gay man. He is the odd man out working from home and needs to make sure he makes a valuable contribution. Talking with his sister, they decide they need to find a solicitor. They don't trust their dad to have been trying to help them. They were denied the money for years. What happened ? It seems the new solicitor will be ....“Looking after substantial inheritance running into many millions, and a dispute over a will.”

Adga and her group were given or captured magical weapons and new spell pages. The descriptions were fascinating. I liked hearing about her---" fully enchanted Dark Metal bastard sword!" She will get the chance soon to test out its powers in battle. I expect we will see once again why Adga is so wise and skilled in fighting and will do what few can. She will certainly lead her group in destroying the bandits. They must act quickly and succeed and also must keep out of the way of the many approaching deathwalkers who are fleeing the terrible sands storm. They have to complete their main mission very soon and warn Scorpion Falls. Serious, extra preparations must be made to safeguard the residents. The clean-up from all the collected sand will have to be very ambitious and time consuming. Adga and her group will have more work, I bet. They are to stay until released, This cataclysmic, very deadly sand storm in a once in a century calamity and will test all.

What a scary, very painful ride on the sand skimmers when fed by those special red tailed rats. Adga and the others had to recover and feast on water near Scorpion Falls. Agda and Tez climbed up and scanned the desert to checkout the upcoming sand storm. It is a terrible, fearful sight of death. Moving back, they see 12 bandits ready to attack resting, tired travelers. Adga and crew will be outnumbered but I am sure they will engage and beat the enemy. We should find out in the next chapter.

The family members are growing up and living full adult lives. Colin and Armand pay attention and help connect them. They are entering the final part of their lives but are not yet infirm. They have been good parents and friends,

So Colin is a bear and did not know it. He fancies slimmer guys and can get off with them so he is not asexual. However, he is deep in the closet and thinks his family and mates will look down on him and disrespect him if his gay nature is revealed. What a mixture of pressures and fears that eventually will not be contained, I expect. If given the prospect of a better life without emotional blackmail, will Colin move on? Maybe? He thinks one potential client, Owain, may have attended the same gay club he did. He is scared by thinking Owain will know he is gay and reveal it. They did not discuss it. Owain is gay but wants and needs a quiet life. He is going to be better off when the will is probated and the details are settled so he must be at peace . He is known to be gay. I think he said he is looking for a long time partner at some point and not one night stands. I bet if Colin stays closeted , he will not find Owain interested. But, then let us see how they interact as they work the on renovating Owain's newly purchased place. They might grow to like each other as people and maybe become friends.

Armand realizes he and Colin are the last surviving adults from the first generation. He senses his own mortality, What a wonderful that people fill in responsibilities. Carl painting angels. More families are created and new children are born and the people all stay interconnected. This is very intriguing and uncommonly positive, I think. I am glad Pierre has taken on professional duties after college and will open an office in Paris. He has to be happy. I am concerned that Armand is not painting. Has he lost the creative spark? Is he disabled in any way so he cannot paint?

Could not Caleb and Asa and their mates be powerful, surprise fighters when called upon to fight Huntington and his crew?

Magnificent--The pups are going to be healed. They will face a new , hopefully better world, While all this good is happening, evil is forming. Huntington is building an army of 300 shifter fighters to destroy Sebastian's pack. His pack needs to be properly trained.

A major hurricane is threatening the preserve of wolves. It will surprise them Micco tool care of an injured wolf who was trying to dig out, Why? The question is not answered. Mow Micco is searching for the source of fear and dread. Is it in the little used out of the waymhurricane shelter? This well told chapter conveyed Micco's ability to understand the wolves. He is park of their pack and senses what they feel. He is almost trapped and is in danger as he searches, I think. Will he find who or what bothers him at the shelter?

Rust Han--good for him and Matty They are becoming very domesticated and loving.

Well, sex seems to be a good theme. Toby has found a friend to experiment with and they might become closer as a result. It all seems innocent, and Gordon and Brian approve. Plus, the benefit of Noah being away results in Gordon and Brian using their freed up time enjoying and experimenting with their sex life. They happily take the opportunity to play and have great fun. I somehow expect the bee effort will not be easy and can produce injuries. Bees sting. A concentration of bees attracted by many flowers or a hive will require attention to safety and maybe protective gear. I love the effort to bake and bring back good memories. Pineapple upside down cake is delicious--mmmm.

I have a suggestion on what the birthday gift might be. Will just returned from Europe and visited several high-class places with Stef and Travis. I think he might have bought Marie an elegant piece of Jewelry like a magnificent necklace. Stef knows about it and must approve. We have learned.... Things are coming together in both sad and good ways. It appears--for now-Jake is the father of Travis after Miranda Buck raped Jake him several times while he was her 16 year old cabana boy. Travis eventually recovered and centered himself with the help of Jake and Brad and Will. He gave Will a great fuck help him get ready for the big dinner. Claire and Jack are trying to work things out and maybe they will. The mood at the start of the dinner was very positive and hopeful. Now, what is Will/s expensive present for Marie? Possibly the upcoming dinner with his family is not going to bother him, no matter what is said. His big paternity question has been answered. His feeling for his mother will change knowing she was a rapist like his father. I hope something can be found about the man found on the property with his picture. His sister told his dad she would not pay for a gunman. Zach knew this. Did his brother help his father support a hitman, He might truly hate Travis. He will find out what they think at the dinner.

You could end the story here-----The cloud of chaos has left his life. Seth found his father and they talked honestly and so much became clearer and more loving. Seth was accepted and his friend were accepted. His dad is great and very supportive, He has a second family and they like Seth. Seth's mother will no longer rule him absolutely.

Great mating and running scenes. The four are now connected in special ways. Kage is protecting them and they are now shadow shifters. Sebastian thinks this will be useful when they eventually find and fight Huntington. Elijah wants revenge for Kage's death. So, now a huge confrontation is next. Sebastian and crew will be preparing,

In the end, Owain and Mhairi inherited a substantial amount from their grandfather and grandmother. Their father kept them in the dark and had delayed with a legal friend the provisions of the will to not be paid at age 21, but till his death, Owain is 38 now. Both siblings were incensed at the action of their dad. Money had been tight and it could have helped out.They may have to wait a year for the legal matters to be settled and any money to be paid. Mhairi and Owain are working things out with each other. The met joe, Mhairi teenage son. He was clued in. Owain met Joe's girlfriend, but was not impressed. Can Owain live well at his old hometown? He has to slow his life down. His health requires it. He needs to fix up his place and it will take time. He wants to find a real boyfriend. These are ambitious goals.

Bekett found the star, Valrinda and his magic. Now he needs to get away and take the star back. What then? Valrinda explained his power and Beckett thought he understood.“So you’re saying because you believed I’d find the path and the star, I did? And because I believed I could use fire magic hot enough to match the lightning, I just could? No other reason or logic?”

Maybe enough have read it elsewhere to not want to read the same thing again? As for me, the story is compelling, and I like the chance to add comments. I am also hoping the story moves beyond the former text.
