Henry and Tomas transitioned to their world. Tomas slowly but fully recovered from his injuries. Henry was ecstatic and learned much happily from Tomas. They found and joined a group of plainsrunners with novices and senior members who were going to a large settlement to be trained. Henry was told this would be a good move for him by Tomas.Tomas joined the senior leader members away from Henry who joined the novices. They all ran, slept, and sang. Henry was accepted well. As Tomas had advised him, Henry did not reveal he was from another world. He said he was from a smaller distant settlement. Two major changes took place after several runs: Tomas left not explaining why to Henry and Henry was going to be invited to join the group. Henry was worried and felt very alone. He is going to have to grow up fast, I hope Tomas returns. Henry also learned that powerful but slower beings sought out plainrunners to eat them and absorb their powers. His group felt safe since they had larger numbers and were not traveling in an area the enemy normally occupied.

Beckett has found one being who does not like him. Valrinda saves the day, Beckett and the wisps. The flying creature wanted to feed on wisps and Beckett was in the way. The wisps knew their enemy and dug into the sand to hide. Valrinda fought hard and won. Now, the creature was stopped, injured by Valrinda and flew away. The wisps should have a new respect for Valrinda and want her nearby. They might even be uncommonly thankful.

Jamie and crew have not discussed how to destroy the ship and station. They are focusing on Lodda. Yes, he must be stopped. However, they must take away his power and destroy his tools. They have to prevent the ship and station from being activated and brought to life which will notify others and call upon them to attack the planet and destroy the inhabitants.

Now we see the endgame--it was not what was thought---A crazy Lodda could destroy this world by letting enemies come back to destroy it :Garvin took a deep breath of surprise then. "He means to reopen it. He means to open the way to the stars again!" Porvus pressed his hand against his forehead, and nodded. "I think that is his goal. And if he does reopen the gate, it will mean that those forces from other worlds will return here, to complete the job they failed to do before!" They must come up with a plan and stop/kill Lodda. Then, Jamie and crew must fight Porvus.

I think Travis is making plans for his protection during his phone calls. Will can help him with good advice later tonight and during the week. Things could get overheated tonight, Seth and Stacy's mother is gone. Craig could hurt Seth and make up a story so Stacy would agree to him hurting Seth. Stacy would love to have Craig over for her benefit.

Then fates are aligning. Hudson is at the same club as Otis but not connecting or aware of each other. Hudson has been accepted into the hard core sex part of the club. Why was not Serri compelled to join the mages. Is a witch considered too inferior? Could she secretly have been compelled to find Jamie after her memory was erased? She could reveal Jamie and his impending attack when given a trigger word. Is this too outlandish to consider Seeri is unwitting spy?

They added a witch to their group. Seeii , a relative of Wanda Pegfoot, has killed two grey mages who pursued her, Now . she can add her knowledge of her past with Urvan and Porvus to the group. I expect her magic will be upgraded. The future is more defined and very dangerous

I can see at least three challenges or tests or skills that Jamie and his crew for now have to master. Find a way to electronically decapitate the machines built by the ancients and now controlled by the senior mages. The machines would be rendered inert and powerless. If the face machines soon Jamie might find a way to stop them by trying various methods. Then find a way to stop the gray mages from being compelled. Once freed they might run away not wanting to take part in a mass destruction event and also might flee when they see Jamie and crew be effective fighters and stopping the machines,too, Jamie knows from Kundun that he has to stop the mages from using their magic. But how? Will he have to wait till he faces Urvan in battle before he knows how to handle him?
