Yes, I agree that this act of real trust should bring them closer together. Sam is a kind hearted soul who might help his knight feel better. He lured the count into a trap and hit him when the count was overextended. The count fell and was pounded and pounded and yielded. Darien won all of the count's holdings from his horses, wagon, gear, food, tent, etc. The King was pleased he bet on Darien and made a killing. He was proud of Darien and Wylan. He will back them and Wylan heritage from now on Victory was sweet.

So Ain has been captured and is in a coma for now. When he wakes up Katya will experiment in him. It will be painful and he should scream. Book 2 ends with Mhalyn realizing how corrupt and manipulative the Herald is. He was drugged Fenn who has no independent ideas and is fully subservient to the Herald. She has found Petre and will help the rebels. He wants to rescue Ain. Will this rescue happen soon? I am looking forward to reading the next book.

I did not see this happening. Tyler who sacrificed all for Taine will be hurt and become the odd man out of the trio. He is going to be crushed when decisions finally have to be made. Taine realized he did not love Tyler. This is so painful and it is being drawn out. Taine and Charlie will be paired up and are fighting their attraction until they cannot. Chloe knows.

Edgar is hosting a surprise carnivorous plant that no one suspects will consume people. It is its nature to eat to survive. Darien might be able to get him even more upset so the Count makes mistakes and thinks he can easily kill a low level bodyguard. I hope Darien will not hold back and kill the count when he can. If the Count lives, he will return to kill him again. The Count's men might arrive early to kill Julian and maybe Wylan. Julian is going to be guarded by Lord Haskal's men Maybe Wylan will be protected from an early surprise attack by Val and a fierce Bran. I am worried.....

Oh My--this is next to the end of this story. War seemed near and Ain is lost. I put my vote in for Tyler to take charge, He could introduce Taine and Charlie into the practice of menage a trois. The three could be a happy, satisfied three- way sexual friendship.

In the US this absurdity would have been a story in Hogan's Heroes which portrayed bumbling Nazi's in a POW camp run really by Allied prisoners. Wylan is now assumed to be a Lord because of errors and Darien is his knight. The King has spoken so it is true Paris Hilton was mentioned as a reference for Wylan as a person who was famous for being famous. Do not forget her huge push into prominence was the distribution of a vid of her giving a skilled and passionate blow job to a guy.
