"With My Whole Heart"
akascrubber commented on Nuno R.F.C.R's story chapter in "With My Whole Heart"
I think it can easily happen that a successful actor and a top pro athlete can let someone control their money. There have been enough stories of such people being too trusting and being bilked out of their money. Kevin Bacon and his family lost a significant amount of money, described as "most" of their fortune, due to the massive Ponzi scheme run by financier Bernie Madoff, who was convicted of securities fraud in 2009 for operating the multi-billion dollar fraud that defrauded many investors, including Bacon's family. -
Tommy told Orel he would return the book he borrowed when he was next in town.He was also going to give Orel a book to read. I suppose Andrew will drive him. If they appear at the garage after Finn is arrested as Tarquin wanted, then Garret will see them and tell them what happened. He will refer Andrew to Lydia. BTW, Orel still has his money so he can pay Ms. Patel.

"With My Whole Heart"
akascrubber commented on Nuno R.F.C.R's story chapter in "With My Whole Heart"
They both better understood each other at a fundamental level. Hudson revealed his painful past. They reached a sincere meeting of the minds and their love deepen. But Marina stepped up and cancelled his cards and froze him out. He is going to default of a key loan. He reached the right attorney who hated her and visa versa. They both will go back and fight and resist her moves. It could get nasty and public. They are ready to battle for their future. -
Lydia needs to get Ms Patel involved. She can be vicious before and during a lawsuit and defending her client. To quote Wilford Brimley in Absence of Malice: "Wonderful thing, subpoenas."

Kaylen is very pleased with his two squires who are training to learn their craft and honor what is true and right. " The keep was stone, but within its walls, something living was being forged: not only squires, but men of faith, loyalty, and brotherhood."

The road to salvation and he damning of Tarquin is rocky, Tarquin found the weak link and for now he rules and has money, He can pay his bills using Oliver's money. The Gala will go forth. He does not need to bring Orel back right now, Will Lydia intervene? Oliver refused to help her. He knows intellectually Tarquin is a manipulator and hurt Orel and Finn. He cannot focus on Tarquin right now, only on his hurt, He has lost what he wanted, What, if anything, can turn him around?

I was told my story by the President of Alaska Pacific University when I visited him in Sitka when I visited him. I guess he was misinformed.
-
Hated people can be sent to the cold in the north. When Jefferson Davis was arrested after the civil War ended. At one point, the former President of the Confederacy was sent to Sitka, Alaska, a new and sparsely populated US possession that was for most of the time gray and dismal and sometimes snowy and very cold and perpetually rainy. The former Russian colony capital was Sitka. It was called in the US as Seward's Folly. It was a laughing matter and named after a supposed foolish mistake by Secretary of State William Henry Seward.

What a revealing and disturbing discussion. Ain and Fenn met the Bulwark and the Herald. It turns out the Bulwark is antagonistic toward Fenn and considers shadow forgers as dangerous with a history of killing. This terrible reputation shocked Fenn and made him want to read the books Ain mentioned earlier. Answering the Bulwark, Ain said he would train him. Fenn noticed the Bulwark did not like Ain and he acted like he also did not like her The Herald acted like the reasonable voice insisting on giving Fenn a chance and did not assume he was like the shadowforgers of the past. Is this a mask and does he have another agenda? Well, Fenn is confused, Ain needs to tell him what is really going on. Why is the Bulwark so opposed to him.

Gabriel has a near impossible goal--to stop the Senator from being killed in a public place meant to send a message. He is hoping an old army buddy who knows what he does can help him scope out the places where the Senator will be easy targets. He is told he wants to stop the killer because he likes the Senator and what he stands for. Gabriel is making himself visible to people and cams and giving his location as nearby. His effort to save the Senator will put a target on his back. He must know he will have someone assigned to kill him and be thinking ahead. We have on 26 year old boy band member, Sean, wondering about leaving the band after his current tour. Maybe he will become a single performer. Right now he needs to think over why he broke off his engagement to a girl he had known since junior high. He just knew it did not feel right, I expect Gabriel and Sean are going to meet and face great danger together I cannot wait for the action to pickup.

A Crisis of Confidence
akascrubber commented on Mark Arbour's story chapter in A Crisis of Confidence
In his younger days George and his father and Caroline when she was his wife attended different clubs to balance out their political connections. There has been no recent mention of George attending a club. "Historic London clubs similar to Brook’s—known for their elite, traditional, and often political atmosphere—are primarily situated around St. James's Street and Pall Mall. Key examples include White’s (est. 1693), Boodle's (est. 1762), the Reform Club (est. 1836), and the Carlton Club (est. 1832). These institutions are renowned for their strict membership rules and rich history. " -
What a horrible place for posting, Devon Island, located in Nunavut, Canada, is the largest uninhabited island on Earth, covering 55,247 \(km^{2}\) (21,331 sq mi). Known as "Mars on Earth" due to its harsh, polar desert climate and reddish terrain, it serves as a major analog for Mars research. The island features the 23 km wide Haughton impact crater and the Devon Ice Cap.

Will could have not resided at a better place. I have stayed at the Willard years ago. It is a piece of Americana located near the White House. Lincoln stayed in it before he moved into the White House. The term " lobbyist" meant to be derogatory is derived from annoying individuals who hung out in the Willard's lobby and who pestered legislators and senior government officials living in the hotel in the late 1800's who crossed the lobby to use the front entrance to support their bills. Henry Clay made the first mint julep in DC in the Willard's ground floor Round Robin bar in 1850. They are still tasty. The Willard's top floor has another that bar is a prized spot to meet with friends and business associates with inside and deck views of the Mall and White House. Will could take his associates to this larger bar and easily get a reservation.
-
Will thought ahead. He had to ensure Tommy had skates and gear for his supposed training effort on the Mall's reflecting pool's frozen water. The optics of the shots with either the Washington Monument or the Lincoln Memorial in the backgrounds will be priceless and worth front page features in the NY Times and Washinton Post.

Strickland made the offer to Finn at the garage requiring total capitulation backed up with the record of his past on the street with receipts, evidence of his legal encounters and photos. Finn said no and promised to show what Strickland gave him to Orel for his decision. The PI took care to have a detailed record of his life on the steet. Finn scanned it and gave it to Finn to rea. It did not bother Orel...."Orel looked at Finn, his gaze steady. "I know your motivation. You wanted to live. So, you could come back here. To me." They knew they were taking great risks defying Tarquin. They had the red notebook from the barn showing Tarquin's role in his corruption and will offer it. Orel accepted their sexual actions will be made public and only felt he would be made closer to Finn. The upcoming legal battles will be nasty and probably one sided at first. Finn will be arrested and Orel will be taken to the mansion by the police. The local press will call Finn a sex predator. He will be vilified. I expect Orel will refuse to sign the papers Tarquin wants and Tarquin will need to find a way to force him. Orel may be kept under wraps tightly. He will need to get the red notebook to Oliver to give to Finn's attorney. He might have to sneak the red notebook to Tommy for the lawyer when he visits him to return his book. Oliver can attest to the fact that the handwriting in the notebook is Tarquin's. The prosecutor and Tarquin will be surprised and the prosecutor will try to suppress this notebook. It will be up to the judge. I hope he is not a biased friend of Tarquin. Maybe, Finn's lawyer could leak news about the notebook to force the judge to rule in favor of Finn. Andrew Carter and Tommy are wild cards who could vouch for Finn and Orel.

Will is eligible legally to run. He met with Biden and the VP offer was made. Biden needed him to win against Trump. Will's price was statehood and complete freedom to campaign. Biden and his chief of staff commenting at times said statehood would not get through congress and the campaign freedom was possible. Will left the meeting saying he would consider the offer. When he was with his people he asked that they begin to organize his run and enter a bill for statehood in the territory's legislature. He saw a man who was a hollow shell and not able to be President, Will saw.... "the empty throne, and knew, with a terrifying certainty, that if he didn’t take it, the monster waiting in the wings would burn the world down." Will knew had no choice.

This chapter is encouraging, lyrical, heartfelt and rewarding. They made love. Liam became more understanding of Hudson and dedicated to supporting him. The media are still staking out Hudson's place. I hope Liam's opinion that they will move on after two weeks. These two need to be strengthened to face the music when they return. They need a plan and they have time to prepare. I expect Marina will do her best to be disruptive.

They made love and found love in Milan. Each let go. Hudson is going to make Liam a good Italian meal Liam remembered Hudson liked the movie All about Eve and took him to a theater featuring the movie. Hudson was entranced. Liam watched Hudson and realized from his reactions to the plot that he had a tough background . Hudson hid that his past gave him the reason to travel to LA. Ain took Fenn eventually to his home near the palace. Along the way Ann made sure a hungry Fenn was fed and later bathed and clothed. Ain seemed very friendly and touchy to Fenn. He is finding he is not bothered by Ain's attention Fenn still did not see how he could help Ain. However, Ain thinks Fenn could help he fight a person who fights with sound. I expect when Fenn is trained he will learn how he can be an impressive fighter We will see. Ain is going to take Fenn to meet the Bulwark. She wants to know about Fenn and may state her expectations for him. He must not disappoint her.

Tarquin can force a competency hearing and seek to get Finn arrested for "preying" on his little, "confused" brother. Tarquin can set the narriative as the protector of Orel. He efforts could take several chapters and the fight to take Tarquin down could take more chapters. You are not promising a quick resolution and maybe lots of anguish.

Does Lydia own the flower shop? Might she have other evidence of Tarquin's wasteful spending beyond his means from the businesses she owns--like the steakhouse? Lydia talking with Oliver about Tarquin's lavish spending habits might suggest either he is a fool who thinks the money will always be there or he has money hidden away or has borrowed money from loan sharks to maintain his high visibility position and hopes for even more prestige
