The effort by the terrorists in the rescue sub to sink the UK sub will further tie Sinclair and Canada, not Russia, to the crippled sub. The mine made from stolen plans is constructed by UK firms. So far, there is no mention of adding ways or connecting by leaks that tie Russia to the new mine.
