@CassieQ, I just LOVE your short stories! Well, I could understand Patric's dilemma, insecurity ... even selfishness and youth recklessness. Even hiding the truth and trying to be manipulative ... What I cannot understand is lack of any empathy, not for his lover, but for his best friend at the end. He was immensely cruel with all what he said, which indicates not just selfishness or stupidity, but some serious symptoms of narcissism. Eventually, the worst thing for me was that Patrick didn't apologize... he didn't say "I'm sorry".

So much alcohol that I'm surprised this story takes place in USA. It looks like it is happening here in Europe! 😂 Well, it's maybe part of rich children decadency lifestyle ... Jonah is naive if he thinks addictions can just go away. It's a lifelong process and Will might have crises on that road. I hope Jonah will be a good friend and support when (if) it happens. I like the banter between siblings. Jonah has really become integral part of his new family. Sometimes, our memories of the past can be seen through the pink glasses. His mother might have been supportive but, idea that he would go to prom with James in N. Carolina is not realistic! Prom has been a wining night for Kildare's! They win it all! Btw, Jonah should stop crying in public! Never show your emotions, enemies are watching!

This might not be what Gael wanted to hear, but Mia sounds as the most reasonable and down to earth person in this story yet! She knew what was going on between Gael and Carlos, she didn't make a scandal over it, she didn't report them to her husband. All she asks now is everyone to take their own responsibility! Are they going to be responsible...or Gael will run away with Carlos on motorbike minutes before the ceremony... Let's see.

What a table-turning for Lucas and Neil since the beginning of the story. Once at the edge of suicide, Neil is getting family support he couldn't even imagine before. Lucas is, on the other hand, condemned to be locked with predator. As life is full of irony, I wouldn't be surprised that Nail takes some role in saving Lucas!

Sure, there is but, as many other @vanalas' characters, he has to mature, grow up (both in his head and 'down there') and apologize a lot...

A single phone call from Prosecutor, makes Roger Cicero, a famous mafia defender, involve in a case of murder. Case of murder becomes a case of self-defense... evolving into case of domestic violence and child abuse! After that, nothing was ever the same for Roger and his friends. A global network of pedophilia and boys trafficking is reveled and the war against the evil starts. @empath is building his own world of superheroes. Unlike the Marvel universe, Lincoln universe superheroes are real people, good people ready to fight the evil. They are military man, police, prosecutors, lawyers, judges, FBA, local militia, border control, even mafia members...all united to save enslaved and tortured boys. And boys of course - the unwanted children as author call them in the story, survivors and little heroes that have captured readers' heart forever! Emotional scenes are followed by the scenes of action...and all over again. Suspense and tension in one moment are replaced with tears of joy and hope in another. Unique characters, each with his own life story, each the potential protagonist of a new @empath's tale! This epic story is a magnificent gift to the GA site. It is a must read, although, to all emotional readers, I have to put a 'clinex' warning!

I've been mesmerized by Gone with the Wind scene. And all the f*ck, sorry dear, but how can a guy think clearly after that recliner sex?!? Blood is not in the bigger head! 😂

My first impression...well, after the obvious one I've commented with gif above ... is that Roman didn't say so many "I'm sorry" and "Perdoname" for his entire life. In Roman's language it means more than 'I love you' word! 😉 Love ... maybe too early to speak about that but feelings are there, it's obvious! (well, maybe just for author and readers for now ). For the second time Max has a Scarlett O'Hara scene, while Roman is taking him in his arms (ok, first time he was drunk and singing that funny song). Well, in all that lust and passion, isn't it magnificent for a southern gentleman to have his Gone with the wind moment. Funny thing, every time they draw lines of kinkiness with water sports, my naughty mind thinks that golden showers might be exactly what Roman needs to treat his OCD! 😂 @JJQuinn, I'm sooo impatient to see 'wake up'! Why do I feel Tara might have the pleasure of running into...

Magnificent finale of the chapter in The Shawshank Redemption closing scene style! This chapter brings two opposite emotions. First is about boys and Nate. The optimism and joy of reunion, witty banter between boys -That's like the incest triathlon! Nate is alive and that is something I wasn't sure about till the end of the chapter. You left their future open to many speculations and I'm impatiently waiting the final chapter. @349bdr might even get his wish about threesome fulfilled! The second is Enzo's story! If Nate is the (anti)hero, Enzo is the tragic hero. I know I'm repeating myself, but this is not the first time @CasualWanderer82 you write characters worth of the Antient Greek tragedy. His suicide didn't bring tears to my eyes, it has brought a shock of some deep sadness! I don't want it to sound as blasphemy, but there is something rooted in religion, we could see in Enzo's sacrifice, like he was taking off Nate's and his own debit with his own life. And not just their own pain, but the pain of all 'not good enough' sons and all unrequited loves of the world. "There's only one thing in this entire fucking world that could make Nate go against my father." The same was for Enzo! "My loyalty is with him," What a writing my friend!

Oh, I want to see Joshua's confrontation with his parents!
