    Glad you enjoyed the pretentious restaurant @Davide. I enjoyed writing it. Martin is still in shock so the news of a title is just one more thing. Besides he's not much into titles.

    So much to unpick here @Summerabbacat. Martin may not become his own matchmaker in a traditional sense. Rick is in a solid relationship and will settle down, sort of. Not all the turmoil in Martin's life back in Sydney, will be unpleasant and some possibly entertaining. Natasha! I'll let that one unfold.

    Even Bert accepted the logic in retaining Terry's name. Terry's role in all this is truly commendable, especially the way he totally accepted Martin as his son while knowing wasn't.

    Unfortunately, I am embarrassed to admit that did happen to me, and yes I have been a bit more "manscaped" since then.

    Martin was right about being out of bed showered and dressed before the others. He looked in the refrigerator and set the breakfast table with juice, muesli, yoghurt and milk. Finding some eggs, tomatoes and bacon he decided to make scrambled eggs with toast when the others emerged from (what was obviously now) their room. He turned on the automatic coffee machine.     Thanks @Cane23. There were hints of an attraction between Simon and Rick from the time they met at the airport. "Good morning, I’m Richard but family and friends call me Rick." Martin held out his hand "Hi Richard, pleased to meet you". "Please, it's Rick." Simon took Rick's hand "Pleased to meet you Rick". Slowly pulling his eyes away from Simon's, Rick responded "the car's over here. I'll give you a hand with your luggage". A very astute observation. Martin will need support and who better than Simon and Rick?

    Martin wasn’t at all sure what to say to Simon the next morning. As it turned out he didn’t have a chance because by the time he’d finished his shower, Rick was there with freshly baked croissants to add to breakfast. After a leisurely but quick breakfast, Rick hurried them off to Buckingham Palace for the colourful, crowd pleasing Changing of the Guards.
