    Chapter 21

Nate and Danny are understandably spinning out what could be their last time together. After a lifetime of friendship it is hard to accept that, despite vows to stay in touch, they may not catch up again. (This is before there was any concept of social media.) I hope that now all the plans have been made, nothing will stop them being carried out. Despite my concerns about Nimbin, I wish all the best for Danny and Jake.

    Chapter 30

At this stage I haven't planned any more of Andre and Chris' story, but then I didn't have any thoughts of a sequel to Beau when I finished that and before I stated posting it. So who knows? Maybe a story about Bradley and Cooper.

    Chapter 30

I appreciate your comments @drsawzall and quoting Bradley. I was hoping that his little speech would resonate. Whether we intend to or not, we should remember that we are all gay role models for the following generations. That's not just young gays but young straights as well. We should try to be good people and good role models.

    Chapter 30

Thanks @Ticklishboy30. Yes Jamie is ticklish but none of it reached the boisterousness of your boys. Thanks for following following my story.

What can I say @Summerabbacat! Thank you for your detailed comments full of references to the long running soapy "Prisoner", songs and your lovely cats. They have been entertaining and encouraging.

Thank you @VBlew for reading. I'm pleased that you enjoyed this story.
  11. We are very familiar with -ologist to refer to someone who studies a particular thing. In this case the thing is obviously cardio-. Cardio in turn comes from the Greek kardia, which means "heart". Of course now "cardio" can refer not just to the heart itself, but to the exercises that are supposed to help keep your heart healthy.

    Chapter 37 S2

Teasing 20 year olds about how they behaved when they were little kids is solidly "dad's joke" territory and worthy of little more than a groan from the recipients.

    Chapter 37 S2

A very pleasant joint family Christmas and a plan to meet for New Years Eve. New Years Eve celebrations are usually more raucous than Christmas so maybe the boys will be required to put their abilities and skills to use. A pleasant chapter.

    Chapter 30

After I read the email Andre said, “If it’s the last thing I ever do, I’m going to stop those bastards getting even one cent of what Ollie is entitled to.” I hugged him in total support. The first thing Andre did was to contact our solicitor friend, who pointed out that going to court was the fastest way of wasting whatever value the deceased estate had. He told us that the solicitor who sent the email was “not well respected” and advised us to double check everything starting with the “mar

  16. This comment had me I torn between ❤️ and 😆so I went neutral with 👍 Stilled loved it, and laughed.
  17. Yes they are cute and adorable. Throughout this story I've loved your portrayal of the recognition of, and blending of, family no matter how distant. I suspect Cherokee genes are significant in appreciating ancestors and Italians for a strong sense of family.

    Chapter 6

We have also found out that these vampires don't really need heating. But on the other hand we haven't been told if there is a temperature below which they become uncomfortable.

    Chapter 20

Jude has certainly turned out to be the hero, or is that heroine. She has not only stopped the boys stupidly running off together without family support for Danny, but is taking steps to protect her other children. That's the mother we all want. Danny and Jake can now leave knowing they have family support. The danger with the way they were planning to leave was clearly shown in Jake's response to finding out Jude knew. ‘Oh, Jesus!’ Jake replied, as the blood seemed to drain from his face. and But if your mum knows who I am . . .’ and Danny's realisation ‘Oh, shit . . . they could put out an A.P.B. on you or something . . .’ There are still serious dangers but a major one has been put to rest. I can only hope they are successful in Nimbin.
  20. Another pleasing chapter with us seeing how accepting and caring these family members are of each other as the family expands. They are such an amazing family unit. I hope that any of the mafia connection that seek out the family are ticklish.
  21. Widening the discussion from US and Canada to Australia you may be surprised to know that paediatricians (yes we spell it differently) are regarded as medical specialists here. That means a child needs a referral from a family doctor (General Practitioner {GP} in our context) to see a paediatrician. Also certain medications, such as for ADHD can only be prescribed by a paediatrician. Our approach is that you first go to your GP and if they can't treat you, they will refer you to a specialist or directly to hospital. Not perfect because of a shortage of doctors in all areas but generally it works.

    Chapter 4

To me the bowl has to be significant. Being found in the 1930s is too much of a coincidence. And in a graveyard. Whose graveyard? Some super humans? If it is significant then maybe the "decorative elements were soldered uniformly around the side" hold some secret. Even so I am wondering what it is about Matt's family that they should be the custodians of the bowl.

    Chapter 4

We do know from history that during the 1930s there was a belief in being able to create a "master race".

    Chapter 1

OK I'm in and keen to see where this story goes. There's no indication that either mother is prepared to make the effort to really bond with anyone. They seem very focused on doing what they want.

    Chapter 4

This is a wonderful chapter which has set up even more mysteries than we had before. It also introduces the rather strange Ralph, who seems to be known to Oscar, and not in a good way. I thought it interesting that Matt ended up sitting between Oscar and Ralph and wondered if it suggests that Matt will be caught between them in the future. The museum quality old Saxon bowl and why the Norwegians are entrusting it to Matt's family is another mystery. What do the Norwegians know abut Matt at he doesn't know about himself? Love this story.
