Just goes to show that mental health disorders have been around for a long time and not just the result of modern life. I'm happy that so far no one has mentioned Freud, even though the comments have covered both psychology and psychiatry. Ops I just did. Oh well, Freudian slip.

Well, we have some disclosure but even more questions. If the Norwegians are in danger so are Matt, Brad, Amy and Emma. Even so Matt is all in to help and seems sure the others are as well. Still plenty of mystery and potentially lots of action to follow.

I just remembered, "so I was determined to at least make sure that those who died too soon and for no good reason would get some level of justice." Now I'm really curious about how auras can help here. Do people retain an aura after they die? No, they all turn black. Or is he going to put surveillance on people with red auras and identify who murdered them. Hmm could be profitable is a reward is posted. 🕵️‍♂️

I know @CasualWanderer82 that your plots and characters can be dark, sometimes disturbingly dark, but at the same time mesmerizing and intriguing. I intend to stay with this story and follow where you lead.

Matt is quite the charmer, working his skills on Sam and then, in a different way, on Ben. I'm loving the developing interactions between the six housemates.

I'm looking forward to finding out how Avery will use his skills for good. Will Mr Stansfield continue to help Avery?

Now I can say this is a word I've never used, and don't believe I've ever heard or seen it before. In fact I'm not sure I can say it without getting tongue tied Fortunately here in Australia an otolaryngologist is usually simply called an ear, nose, and throat specialist, or even more conveniently, an ENT specialist. As a medical specialty it dates back to the 19th century, when doctors recognized that the head and neck contained a series of interconnected systems.

Here we have yet another medical term with Greek origins; the Greek ouron meaning urine and our old favorite -logia which we all recognise as meaning the study of. We shouldn't be surprised that so many medical terms are Greek. The "father" of medicine was the Greek physician Hippocrates (460–370 BC), who is remembered for the Hippocratic oath.

No idea yet where this is going, but I certainly want to find out.

I'm loving catching up with these guys again and looking forward to watching the dynamic between them all.

So Rusty knows Cottontail, who didn't want to be recognised. That seems to bring us back to a certain roommate. I hope the fight with the Mitch bitches will finally free Jamie to be his own musician and experience other bands. And who is Cottontail's overbearing brother?

A very neatly rounding off of the Taft/Nelson family story. The Boy on The Porch epilogue gave us a glimpse of the far future while this story "filled in the gaps" and rounded out the two stories. And importantly justice came to all.

Everything seems to be falling into place for both families. The wives off with new partners who are also colleagues and the John and Frank free to enjoy their love. HEA or is it all too good?

Maybe. Maybe not. But, yes I loved working with Ryan and Aaron.

Starting the new year with a proposal of marriage is just so romantic. We enter a new stage in our relationship in a new year. And at a public event with all those other people, even more so. Now don't get me wrong because I believe that wanting someone to marry you is serious and romantic and I believe the asking should be just as serious and romantic, which this was. My question is, can't we do better than the heterosexual normative of man proposes and uses a ring to publicly show that the woman is now engaged but he has nothing to publicly show he is engaged. More and more heterosexual marriages are including the exchange of rings, so each spouse wears a wedding ring. Can't we do something like that to indicate intention to marry? At least in the interests of equality. As i said I don't want to detract from Devin's romantically beautifully timed proposal. I just want to throw out some thoughts.
