  1. I'd have to say that my favorite character was Nate. Yeah, he was the straight one, but I always liked how he was the alpha male and yet he loved to party. He and Brenda definitely belonged together, and it really sucked when he died. Other than that... Nate all the way.
  2. It can't be that bad, can it?
  3. I agree. I've mentioned before how much pressure there is. There's also the fact that someone can get burned out after a while, and I think pressuring for more is just asking for trouble.
  4. Actually, Reunion Tower is an observation tower. It actually rotates so that you can see all of downtown Dallas, and let me tell you, downtown Dallas is huge! If you're on I-35 E, you drive right by it. Reunion Tower is part of the Hyatt Regency complex, and it also features Dallas cuisine as there is a restaurant there. I didn't really think of it as a phallic symbol. The top of it isn't the right shape. I have not actually been inside it yet, but I'll let everyone know all about it when I do.
  5. I just read Chapter 5. Hmmm... it looks like Robbie's kinky side revolves around his ass. What a shock. Mark Sievres is dead. That really make me sad. Great chapter though! I am always ready for another.
  6. Occasionally, I end up in Dallas. There's plenty to do there, and it's great if you don't mind the traffic. Some weekend I'm going to the zoo and probably Reunion Tower.
  7. I have. I want more. It would be nice to see a story that's more of a sequel to The Ordinary Us. Maybe it could be from Jude's PoV. That would totally rock.
  8. Thanks Dom! I'll have to read some of those articles. I believe they'd be helpful in this venture. Your input is definitely most welcome! I will mention what story the scene is going to appear in once it gets closer to the time in which the particular chapter shall be released. Then again, it will be like a musical crescendo that reaches fortissimo as these woman are together for the first time.
  9. I have never been to Canada personally. I really want to visit Canada at some point in my life, especially Toronto and Montreal. Those two cities sound like so much fun. Also, there's plenty of wilderness that must be breathtaking. The one drawback as far as visiting would have to be the winters. I could never be in Canada (except maybe Vancouver) between October and April, because I'm just too much of a wuss when it comes to cold weather. It's 32 degrees F (or 0 C) at this time here in north Texas, and I would freeze my butt off if I went anywhere near Canada or the northern US right now. I think it's too cold here.
  10. Why wouldn't it? A lot of people love hot Latin studs. I certainly do. So much heat... so much passion... so much beauty. How can anyone resist?
  11. These are some more images that a friend of mine gave me. After all this time, these fires are still consuming.
  12. Thanks Maria! I might just have to read it. I've never really read a lesbian novel. We'll see how it goes. It will take me a while to get to the scene in the story.
  13. Happy birthday, Jordan.
  14. Happy birthday, Jack!
  15. That
  16. Recently I mentioned in my blog that I want to write a sexual scene with lesbians. Yes, you heard me right. I said lesbians! Now, this is quite a challenge as I am definitely a homosexual male. However, I appreciate love in all of its various forms. I've even written a straight scene. Now one might ask, "Why would an author at GA be interested in writing about lesbian love?" There are several reasons actually. Human sexuality is uniquely human. Only one other creature on this entire planet has sexual desires beyond procreation. That would be dolphins for anyone who is wondering. However, I am not a dolphin, so there's not much sense in writing about them. Lesbians are often thought of as sexual objects to straight men, especially in porn, and that's such a shame. They're otherwise portrayed as being masculine when many, if not most, lesbians are no different from other women except for the fact that they love and make love to other women. I believe representing our sisters, lesbians, as the beautiful and sensual women that they are is very important. Beyond that, lesbians have faced many of the same prejudices as we have and being minimized in many ways, even by gay men, which is just plain sad. In the early years of the gay movement, lesbians were often the victims of sexism by gay men who would make comments like, "Woman, why don't you go bake me some cookies." Quite frankly, that's totally messed. Even at that, lesbians were at the forefront in the 80's when so many gay men were dying of AIDS by the thousands. The scene I want to write is to be beautiful, because that's the way they deserve to be portrayed, and I accept nothing less as an author. I cannot quite say how the lesbian scene fits in, because I don't want to spoil it at all. What I can say is that I would appreciate some input, especially from bisexual woman and maybe some lesbians who may be hanging around. Actually, any input would be appreciated. This is definitely not going to be easy, but I believe I can write a beautiful scene with some good input from my fellow members and especially authors.
  17. Happy belated birthday, dear friend. I hope it was a good one.
  18. Happy birthday, Billy! Have a good one.
  19. I'm not quite sure. I'll probably have to read a decent scene to get some ideas to be honest. Like I said, it's not going to be easy.
  20. Now I realize this sounds like a real challenge, but I want to write a lesbian scene. No, I'm not kidding! I may be gay, but making love is beautiful, and I want to challenge myself to write a scene like this. Even though I firmly am gay, about 99% or so, I think my curiosity gets the best of me. I actually want to watch two lesbians make love. Now coming from a straight guy would make that statement all about being a total perv, but I think I have a much more objective perspective. First of all, it's unlikely to arouse me. Second, it's for my benefit as an author. One thing I already know is that women have to depend much more on the power of touch, especially without a penis being involved. Think about it. Cocks are pretty awesome. I thinks that's why I love them so much. But at the same time, I wonder how the whole lesbian thing works. I know many here will think this is strange, but I'm always one to try something new. I doubt any gay man has ever written a lesbian scene. Here's the difficult part. I have to think about men while I'm writing it as that is much more appealing. I have to totally rewire my mind beyond that. It's going to be a difficult task, but it's something I simply must do.
  21. I'm not surprised. Even my cousin yells "faggot" when he's playing. It pisses me off. She should sue their pants off.
  22. Cliff James, we all know you're going to win, so why must you try to deny it?
  23. That sounds painful.
