  1. I'm a Steve Cortez guy myself. It seems I'm the only one so far.
  2. Pain relief of course. It does help, just not the same day. Thanks Mark. By the way, happy belated 4:20. I had a good holiday. I'm sure you did too even if you had to give some lectures. I will get back into your stories some time, maybe soon.
  3. Yeah, that's me. I'm sure some are wondering. I have logged in a few times, but right now, I see myself close to 30 years old, already having some issues with my health. Today, I had an epidural. For those who don't know what one is, it is an injection that an anesthesiologist gives a person in a bone between a person's butt and back. It is an area where everyone has a bony area. It has to do with the spine too. They do hurt, not when you get them but afterward. I can tell I have a nasty bruise, and I put triple anti-biotic ointment on it. I have one more left in two weeks. It's hell sometimes. I am going to get my pain managed all the while working on starting a business, and it's not an easy thing to do when you're in a lot of pain. But don't worry. I'm a spitfire. I'll make it! It's time for me to make some big changes in my life, and that's why I'm not around as much. Any writing I do is going to be business related for the foreseeable future, so for those who are waiting on SP or any other series I do, you will have to wait.
  4. Happy birthday, Sean.
  5. 1. The Netherlands 2. Australia 3. France 4. Norway 5. Switzerland
  6. Happy birthday!
  7. That's awesome, KC. Congratulations!
  8. This is wonderful! It's so nice that gays and lesbians can be open about who we love even in the military.
  9. Richard Dawkins is a professor of zoology at the University of Oxford and a strong opponent of creation and intelligent design. I am disabling comments as my reasoning for posting this is simply to share, not to spark a debate on religion. That's what the Soapbox is for. Watch it if you want of course, but this entry is not going to be used for a debate. http://video.google....284641446868316
  10. Well, it's possible that they decided he was too abrasive. I obviously don't know for certain. It's just conjecture. It could be that he'll be able to come back eventually. Who knows.
  11. I had to have my cousin restore my computer to factory settings because of a dreadful piece of malware called System Check. If I ever find out who made that shit, I'm going to rip off his god damn balls. Yes, the following link IS safe. It talks about removing the damn thing. http://www.spywarevoid.com/remove-system-check-pop-ups.html
  12. I happen to agree with the reviewer. Rory did annoy the shit out of me sometimes. He was so clueless, more stubborn than I am (and that's pretty effing bad), and treated other characters like shit. It did make it hard for me to have a good rapport with the protagonist at the beginning. Then again, I wrote a story in which the protagonist was a psychopath, so I guess all protagonists have to have some flaws at least.
  13. If you want your mom to have the best, I suggest you take her to University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. It is the top rated cancer treatment hospital in the US.
  14. When I was in junior high, a really awesome album came out. It was called Crazy Sexy Cool by none other than TLC. TLC, for the few who don't know, was an R&B group from Altanta, Georgia featuring Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas. The band produced some great hits from Crazy Sexy Cool, including "Red Light Special" and "Waterfalls". As far as I know, Crazy Sexy Cool is their biggest album ever, and it was their sophomore album. It's also the one that introduced me to the band, and I've been a fan ever since. Unfortunately, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopez died back in 2002 in a car accident in La Ceiba, Atlántida, Honduras. While there was one postthumous album called 3D, and it had a couple of good songs, "Girls Talk" and "Damaged". While it's my understanding that T-Boz and Chilli intend to produce new material, it won't be the same without their talented rapper, Left Eye. She has left a void in the music world that can never be filled, and it still makes me sad that such a great voice is gone from this world even if it is almost 10 years later.
  15. It seems that artificial blood has saved a human life. I am glad, because this means that in the future, there won't be dependency on blood donation. This is a huge scientific breakthrough that hasn't yet had much press coverage. Here is an article about it.
  16. I wouldn't mind Christmas being on July, 24. It'd be much warmer, but a happy belated birthday to Anyta anyway.
  17. Dry orgasms are possible, and they are more likely to happen the older you are. I've never had a dry orgasm myself, but then, I think my record is like 7 times. I couldn't go that many times now though. Still, even at 16, 7 times was pushing it. 42? Impossible! Even with Viagra, that's not even in the same realm as possible.
  18. I don't necessarily think the article is true. Again, how would anyone know the number of times, and how could the guy (even at Age 16) get it up that much. Also, the news sources don't look all that incredible. This sounds like an article you'd find on The Onion.
  19. Happy Birthday to one of GA's most beautiful women.
  20. Unfortunately, it's a few days earlier than I'd like. The 15th would have been perfect, because Saints Row: The Third comes out.
  21. Most anti-depressants don't have that effect, at least not in my own experience. Anti-psychotics are the ones that can turn you into a zombie. A physician can help you find the anti-depressant that best suits your needs and helps you deal with some of the symptoms.
  22. Look it up in the dictionary. There's a picture of you there.
  23. Hey everyone. It's that time of year. The days are getting shorter and shorter. In some places, cloudy skies are becoming perpetual. For some of us that means depression, more specifically Seasonal Affective Disorder, The National Institute of Health has a good article about SAD, including the warning signs and triggers. I'm already starting to become more lethargic, and considering that I am sleeping better for the most part, I think I might have a mild case. Luckily I'm already on anti-depressants, but I am thinking about trying some light therapy to help me through the winter, especially if I move back to Missouri where it's very common for days to be cloudy and where nights start before 6 PM during the winter months. I know some other members are already symptomatic, so this thread is a good place for them to share how they're feeling and for others to give any other helpful hints they might have.
  24. Habit, I'm sure you're not ugly. Take the bag off your head.
  25. This is a great story! I liked every single chapter. There's plenty of laughs and plenty of drama. I must say that some characters like Mark's dad really make me mad.
