  1. Hi Bob, I missed the part about Tim not being able to afford psy. That's something I wasn't aware of. Thanks for thinking up some alternate methods to help him cope. I want only the best for that guy. Hell, I'd adopt him and pay for his psy stuff if he'd let me.
  2. On my website forum we have a rule that if you can't prove some claim with a photograph it didn't really happen. I recommend CJ, in temporary command of GA, institute such a rule, and then lock Myr and Joe out of the admin panel. This event is only hearsay until we see pix.
  3. I've done this daily since high school. My journal is basically a stream of consciousness collection of everything I did, wanted to do, felt, and ate. You name it and you'll find it in my journal. I can be brutally honest with myself and it's not always a pretty sight. But it helps me get my anger out in ways I might not otherwise be able to. Tim, you have so many friends here at GA who care about you a lot. Please don't ever forget that. Yeah, I know it's not quite the same as having someone there you can touch, but it's the next best thing. You know all you've got to do is call me and I'll spend hours on the phone listening to you. I just wish you'd risk having a little more trust in me than you already do. Bob, sometimes medication is the only cure. I've dealt with all my demons via twice monthly shrink visits since I was six years old. Talk therapy doesn't do a whole lot of good for me. It's simply not enough. When I take my cocktail of psymeds I feel better, more normal. When I combine that with writing in my journal I'm at my peak of emotional health.

    Counting Carbs

1/4 Breakfast 3/5 Lunch 0/4 Dinner So, I'm thinking maybe I'll just make lunch three times a day and feed Jan the same stuff. I need to keep my boyfriend to be () healthy. I already know I can keep him happy. ~me.
  5. Is good head really enough? Maybe for some. I don't think that's the case with Ash. He deserves someone who treats him with respect and also gives good head... ~gary.
  6. Tim, hopefully you're just stressed-out because of the move, the electrical problems and some other issues. You have my phone number. Call me at any hour if you need to talk.
  7. Or perhaps it refers to the literal hand of a dead man.
  8. Perhaps I'm picking at nits, but I think telling him you can't be friends for awhile is cold. Yes I know he cheated on you and the SOB should count himself lucky not to be wearing a fruitbowl and looking over his shoulder whilst watching you moon him and slap your ass. How about telling him you'd like to move forward as friends; without benefits, but you need some time away from him first to get into the right mindset to do that?
  9. Yah. Otherwise I'd say you're violating some basic laws of physics, LOL.
  10. When getting frisky I prefer plain armpits. But yeah, in general I'd much rather smell like deodorant than have BO.
  11. I sent you a PM cause I want to go off-topic with some model car related stuff.
  12. Of course he's up to it. The real question is are we up to it? On the other hand, don't mind me. I love to stir the pot and cause trouble.
  13. Maybe only Scar survives?
  14. FOR SALE Gaydar kits. High quality. Some assembly required. Minor brain surgery needed for implantation. Batteries included. Contact GaryInMiami for details.
  15. As a fellow gearhead I've got to you. But don't ever screw with me on the road cause I can counter any of your tricks with an ease and grace that would make for a great "show yourself" photo. BTW, do you ever build model cars? I'm working on a police cruiser now in 1/25 scale.
  16. Call me insane, but I love to slam on the brakes and then immediately floor the accelerator. I can easily pull away from the tailgater, but it scares the living crap out of the person behind me as my rear bumper is suddenly looming dangerously close. I won't do that if anyone is in the car with me. The tailgater always backs really far away from me after that. I suppose I run the risk of the occasional road-rager, but I guess anyone who does something like I do is probably considered to dangerous to screw around with. Screw you Mr. Frost. At the rate you're going I'm never gonna get to see the end of MO anyway, so your threat is an idle one.

    UK Schools

I needed to call my IP Attorney today to discuss changes to her website so I took advantage of the opportunity to ask her some of the things you mentioned. It used to be that you could just take the bar exam and if you passed you'd be considered an attorney. That is no longer the case. No law school will accept you without a degree and without passing your LSAT. The degree does not have to include anything one would consider pre-law. In fact she told me that more and more attorneys-to-be get their degree(s) in something related to the area in which they want to practice. A lot of them are English majors or minors because typically being an attorney involves being able to write well. A minor slip-up in the wording of a contract could have devastating results if that clause were ever called into question. Hope that helps.
  18. Why more than once a day? The stuff I use is good for several days. I found that out when I was in hospital and couldn't shower every day like I normally do.
  19. I've been popping my knuckles for decades and always assumed it was the bones making the noise. Looks like Jamie has made me smarter. Thanks. TMI on the elongation thing. I'm happy with mine at its natural length thank you very much.
  20. I didn't explain myself well enough. What they lose is the right to claim a trademark on the term itself. Let me cite a couple of examples that should make things a bit more clear. Band-Aid brand adhesive. They didn't do a good enough job of protecting their legal marks so now, even though Band-Aid brand adhesive is still a trademarked term, band-aid is a generic term for adhesive bandages and a temporary or makeshift solution to a problem. Same thing happened to SPAM. Even though SPAM is still trademarked, spam is not. Both the above companies have given up any attempt to prevent use of the more generic spelling. Xerox is still actively fighting it.
  21. There's no knuckles or joints down there so what exactly do you think is popping? I can't even begin to imagine. Sounds like a fun party trick though, !
  22. Yes, they want and need to win this battle. If they lose it they lose the right to claim a trademark, and probably all their legal marks, on Xerox Brand copying machines. As I understand it, if that happens then Company B could release a product called Xeroxer, for example, and there would be nothing Xerox Corp. could do about it.
  23. There is one goat I wouldn't mind smelling. Hi CJ. Fresh sweat is alright but BO is so gross. It's just not that hard to put a little deodorant under your arms every day. So there should be no reason not to wear it.
