He will be missed, he was a great actor, I like this scene most from Babylon 5 Now that's epic scene

I am reviving my old thread, because Wonder Woman was amazing and has beaten a lot of movies that have come out recently, finally a DC movie other than Batman or Superman with real depth, charm, and a unique kind of heroism. I might not be heterosexual, but I can appreciate a woman who runs into the heat of battle: Now I understand why a segment of LGBT like wonder woman, she's tenacious and inspiring. Of course, one has to Wonder whether being an Amazon gives her a discount at whole foods

Thank you all for the Birthday Wishes, now I will need a volunteer to be my Alpha muse (If there are Beta Readers, and Omega Editors are the final reviewers, then there must be an Alpha Muse).

It's my birthday and I will cry to this if I want to:

This is cute and awesome to see: This gay couple recreated their Pride kiss 24 years later, and the touching results have gone viral I hope whoever I can find will one day want to do the same thing with our first kiss, when we're old and gray gays

Happy Pride Month

It's more than just a "gay vs. straight" test, it's a fun expression of sexuality and perceived labels. A few of our intrepid members got "Labels are meaningless" some of our more traditional members got "pretty gay", it all depends. I bet "screw the box" choice on one of the questions made me a bit more gay than choosing Box A, B, or C As Freud would say: Note: Of course Freud was wrong when it comes to certain language issues, if I were in England, I'd be buggering and enjoying a few fags

@Myr He was campy, but he still was "Batman", all the traits we loved about Batman was still there beneath the "Pow!" and "Bangs!" The 1st time I heard about Adam West or even heard his voice wasn't from the old series, but from Batman TAS, when he guest starred as the "Gray Ghost" the campy hero of TV that inspired DC's animated "darker" Batman series of the 1990's. This scene is the best passing of the torch from one generation to another, it was from this episode that I learned about the older campy series:

Batman is dead! http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/adam-west-dead-batman-star-832264 RIP Adam West, you will be missed for having the campiest TV show of all time. Also, family guy will never be the same without you.

Would it be okay to characterize your relationship as one with a power dynamic. There's nothing wrong with that concept, it's been in existence for thousands of years across sexual orientations and genders. Being a versatile myself, I find one position or mode of mentality difficult to maintain and equally less fulfilling for me as time goes on. At times, I want to trust my partner with the lock and key, in others I want him to trust me with it. Giving orders or performing those orders both appeal to me. Another complexity in my relationships, when we get to the point of exploring this part of the relationship, it is difficult to meet each other's needs or my needs specifically as I find many men are stuck in one mode of behaviour with little deviation (you may have differences in public versus personal life, but it is hard for guys to be sub or dom if not used to it), true switch/versatile guys are harder to find than ambidextrous.

Fish Sauce Chicken wings I am not joking, it's actually part of Viet-American cuisine and it's amazing. The salty nature of the fish sauce with some vinegar and sugar makes for a delicious seasoning for chicken wings. On top of that, I'd go with Texas BBQ ribs, not the dried kind from Memphis. Burgers from Midwest, Illinois/Wisconsin/Ohio. Fish Tacos from the california Cole Slaw and collared greens from Deep South And Chowder from New England.

Shakespeare has many fine words and many fine speeches, but on this day I commit to thee, Henry V, St. Crispin's Day speech: Here's the Entire Speech: Here's the Modern version (I like Olivier's version, but this had more weight to me personally as I knew of this one first):

Confucius' philosophy and my views have differences in social organization and morality, but in terms of government organization, and the role of leaders in a nation, I am probably one of his deepest disciples. I am going to paraphrase a Chinese question and its dialogue: A question in the Confucian Dialectics is asked among Confucius scholars that is both broad and narrow: How does one "know" what they are doing is right for a nation? Student 1: "One does not need to know as the Tao/"Way" is best revealed by inaction and the freedom of the people will allow nature to run its course. It is best to be Right and Good through the flow of Tao." Student 2: "One should "create" what is righteous and good for the people's benefit, inaction will only lead to confusion as none can find harmony, nor Tao/the Way without direction." Student 3: "One should seek to observe what has already been set as righteous by divine law of Gods and ancestors, we human beings cannot know what is righteous or good, so we must accede to the wisdom from the ancients." Student 4: "One should seek out the price of rice, vegetable, and meat in the market place. For above all these ideas of the direction of a leader, no nation can exist without its people having enough food to avoid hunger. It does not matter if the path is achieved through direct charity of divine rituals, release of rice from government granaries, or removal of tax on rice as the people will befed. If a leader should achieve a time where even beggars will not want for a meal, then he has done right by his people." --------------- Student 1-3 reminds me of Libertarian, Liberal, and Conservative political divide, but Student 4 is someone Americans and I think Western Politicians have rarely seen in existence, a leader with no care of ideology just the results for the good of the society. Leadership rises above ideology

My Sun sign is Cancer and Moon sign is Gemini, my moon sign makes me versatile and my sun sign makes me empathetic. I'm single as well, but it doesn't mean I am a Monk There are a lot of guys who enjoy the lighter aspects of BDSM even without the restraints and continuous control that relationships offer. At its heart Role playing is an important part of the experience, you do not need complete trust in that, just two people willing to partake.
-
No insinuations, just want to clear that point, because there has been a misconception between BDSM and Sado-masochists. Practicing BDSM does not mean we operate under pain, or creating pain. As for denial, there are a lot of games that goes with it too. That's what I mean by conditioning your sub. It's a Pavlov trigger.
-
No problem, though it is fun, restraints are not for everyone and there are different types to suit needs even among those who use it. On a related question, how do you maintain your conditioning and control? I tend toward edging and control through stimulation and denial, because it seemed to be the easier approach without implications of physical abuse. Pain only goes so far, desire goes further. BDSM might seem amalgam to Sado-masochism, but they are two different concepts.
-
I would advise against going leather or metal initially. The Basic restraints that come with several BDSM kits are velcro based, probably the most flimsy and will wear out within a year of use, but it will help you or your sub adjust to the feel. Give it a try on both sides, restraints are an interesting feeling and they give more power to the dom with the subs reduction in motion. However in the nd, it goes back to what a lot of others have said, it's a sign of trust and love that you would put your freedom in the hands of another person.
-
Good Pun Here's a question for my counterparts, I think metal bondage gear is better than leather. I've noticed that leather wears out far too quickly, even though it is popularize as part of BDSM cliche, leather restraints do wear out. . Anyone else have similar experience?

I switch around, but never assumed dom role with another dom. There was an encounter where we both preferred to be in control, but I let the guy be the dom and I took over sub,. He operated as a "passive" dom and I was an "active" sub, orders and actions were balanced off. The Dom and Sub roles can be further divided into active/passive.
-
I've been in and out of BDSM along with various fetish play, never used a safe word.. In practice, I enjoy the Dom role, but also enjoy sub role as well depending on circumstances and type of games that are being played. BDSM isn't strictly sexual, there are a variety of games that couples enjoy, some erotic and other just physical. My last boyfriend and relationship was over 6 months ago, which had elements of BDSM.

A Special Tribute for Sir Winston Churchill: This was a good shortened version of a great speech: The actual version:
