    Less urgently than… ;–)
  2. Yes, yes, we know, you aren’t attracted to blonds! I think that’s great! Less competition for me! ;–)
  3. Would 70 more chapters be a bad thing? ;–)
  4. ‘…there were so many who were loving being a vampire now.’ ‘You are father?’ doesn’t make sense. It should be ‘Your father?’ It’s a rookie mistake… ;–)

    Chapter 76

Governor Moonbeam has proposed a California Satellite for the second time. This time it’s much more likely to happen because not only is it much cheaper to launch one these days, but they’re now mainstream. He announced it at the recent Climate Control Conference in San Francisco. Jerry Brown is actually a fairly moderate politician. He is not the wild-eyed radical that he is portrayed as by the national media. Many of the things he was criticized for supporting in the ‘70s have become commonplace today. He was a visionary back then and the country has caught up with most of his ideas. This is not to say I’m a huge fan of his (I didn’t vote for him when he was running for Oakland Mayor), but his reputation does not reflect reality. ;–)
  7. Or maybe he just needs a bigger, thicker one! Maybe he’d be more relaxed if he got Sue to try pegging him. He needs to get his prostate exercised. He certainly seems obsessed with the sex aspect of Robbie being Gay! ;–)

    Chapter 26

    I wonder… when is @Hunter Thomson’s birthday? ;–)
  9. Yes, Don does need professional help – with his homophobia! But I’m guessing he’s stubbornly refusing to admit he’s personally got a problem and is only seeking help for Robbie. While that’s long overdue, they (and Sue) all need psychological therapy! You can’t tell me that Don himself would meekly go report being propositioned to school authorities! I doubt he’d have been upset if Daniel had punched the kid for asking for a blow job. The only one he thinks should go to the administration for assistance is Robbie! Parents should be consistent, but the only constant these days seems to be Robbie getting blamed. I’m beginning to wonder when Don is planning to send Robbie to Conversion Camp. Surely he’s looked into it by now!
  10. I think you’re right about the plural, but I disagree about needing the article here. I think @R. Eric was trying to say that there were small lights shining inside the cube, not that they were positioned inside the cube. In that context, an additional comma needs to be added between ‘lights’ and ‘until’. Personally, I also think ‘connected to’ sounds better than ‘connected with’. ;–) Small lights were on inside, like emergency lights, until we were connected to the plane’s power.
  11. Just what Makarovia needs! I’m sure with the large Gay population there, they can turn caverns, both natural and artificial, into showplaces, like the Dwarf Kingdoms in Middle Earth before the Balrog. With LEDS, artificial light can be tuned to closely mirror natural sunlight. With clever design, you might not even realize you were deep underground. The caves might not be everybody’s first choice for housing, but they’d work well for retail, entertainment, offices, and even some forms of sports – Reric Theater multiplexes are a natural! ;–)

The need to annoy Kyle & Blu seems to override any shame they might feel. ;–)
  14. I think @R. Eric forgot about them! We all have to give him plot suggestions so he utilizes all his resources. We make it a little more like a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure for him. ;–)

Edited – is that more accurate? And so far the younger set seems to be following the lead of the older set in being all about the sperm, not eggs. But Link & Levi haven’t mentioned an orientation yet even though studies indicate that some preteens already know. ;–)
  17. By this point, I had already given up on trying to get @R. Eric to edit his mistakes! I’m not sure what he’s adjusting, but he doesn’t seem to be fixing all his misspellings and grammatical errors when he revises his chapters… ;–)

Hey, you started it with your futuristic solar-powered, clean-energy Zombies! ;–) Are they related to @Timothy M.’s solar-powered dragons? ;–)

    Down In Flames

I don’t think it was just a hit & run. I think Stephen was murdered because he found something out that no one was supposed to know. The question is whether Stephen left any documentation behind with the evidence… Davis faints, but Kaleb is obsessed with finding out the gender. What would Kaleb do if the baby is intersex*? Would he insist on gender assignment surgery? Would he demand a DNA test for a chromosome check? What if the test showed XXY or XYY? How would Davis react if he’s having this much trouble with a multiple birth? And Davis shouldn’t be so shocked with his brothers-in-law, Kyle & Jared, and Link & Levi all being twins. *This is an area of LGBTQI rights where Australia is among a small handful of countries with specific anti-discrimination rights for intersex individuals. South Africa and Malta are also in that group with Malta being the most comprehensive in their protections. A few jurisdictions in the US allow third gender or sex classifications and there are a few anti-discrimination rights in healthcare. Overall, this is an area where much work needs to be done. Just as with sexual orientation, sex and gender are not necessarily an either/or proposition. There are variations and things are not strictly black and white, yes or no. And just as with circumcision, assignment surgery should not be something parents (and doctors) should be allowed to decide for the child, no matter how well-meaning. It’s interesting how the ‘god doesn’t make mistakes’ folks seem to be the first to demand surgical intervention on intersex infants.

    Chapter 7

I vote for alien spaceship! Those parasitic alien symbionts had to come here somehow! They didn’t come here for our women! They don’t seem to have come here for our water! Are they un-terraforming the Earth? Are the Zombies scouting for the real invasion? ;–) Have the Space Police come to deport the undocumented symbionts? Or are we the criminals they’re trying to punish? Have we damaged our planet so badly we’re being eradicated? ;–) Or are the symbionts fleeing their own enemies (who just happen to resemble deer)? ;–)
  21. Everybody in Denora (with the possible exception of Billy’s seldom seen, best female friend) needed and still needs therapy! But in a cruel twist of fate, they got Brett’s incubator, the nationally-renown psychologist (and serial liar) who was not above using her own son and his best friend in her psychological experiments. The other social leader that many turn to for psychological help, their religious leader, kicked his own son out of the house as part of his personal, homophobic campaign against LGBTs!

    Proof

I’m beginning to think that @R. Eric is really a Makarovian immigrant who speaks English as a second language – he could be an adopted Makarovian orphan. Or maybe his mother was the Makarovian and she married a Scottish immigrant. Either of these would explain his struggles with tenses, the frequent dropped articles, and his confusion over homonyms! ;–)

Back then it was Irma, right now it’s Florence. From what I’ve read is that Charleston is at the confluence of several major rivers that drain South Carolina. Even though Florence hit North Carolina first and hardest, the less powerful side of the hurricane is still affecting Charleston and South Carolina. When all that rainfall flows down the rivers to the Atlantic, it all flows through Charleston. How prepared is Charleston? @R. Eric, are you safe where you are now? Are you incommunicado due to power outages?

You didn’t notice this? This line actually says, “You did not know you are attackers?” when you actually meant, “You did not know your attackers?” It changes the meaning completely! Who is the VUN attacking? ;–)
