Kasey will make out like a bandit when Kaleb & Davis start fostering or adopting kids! But they all need to make a much more serious effort to stop swearing in front of the kids so much! At this rate Kasey will have grad school paid for before he finishes elementary school! ;-) Levi already knows how to play his uncles! I’m afraid of what he’ll be like in a few years when he’s a teenager! He’s going to be a handful when he starts dating – I pity the parents of whoever that turns out to be! ;-)
-
So Eric is making an honest man out of Mike! Or is Mike making an honest man of Eric? Why was Chet so blasé? Is it the residual poisonous effects of his mother and grandparents? I’m kind of surprise Eric didn’t invite his new best buddy, Ray, and his husband to the wedding! ;-)

I think Oli was so tired of being on the short side of the comparisons with Mr Perfect that he ignored or disregarded all of those references to Teddy. Since Oli doesn’t see Teddy as anywhere near perfect, he figured that everything he heard about his older brother was a wild exaggeration. Because the Teddy he knew was nothing like the mythical ‘god’ he was constantly being compared with! ;-)

How sad (but predictable really) that a dozen years from now kids are still worried about how their parents will react to their sexual orientations! ;-) I’m glad that Ryder & Oli and Ryder & Teddy have realized they each have something to offer the other to help with their problems. Oli still doesn’t trust Teddy enough to believe that Teddy can help him, but then again, Oli doesn’t trust his parents much either since they all lied to him all his life. Harry needs Ryder, but still feels betrayed by him. Oli is the key to really solving Ryder’s issues. I still think he’s almost the kid Ryder & Teddy should have had after the wedding they were supposed to have! He’s just about young enough! ;-)

Most of those were examples of the ‘hat’ following the ‘head’s’ lead! This CA did the legal stuff to Native Americans and Asians too. Canada was just following the lead of the US and Mother England (‘Everybody else was doing it!’). (It’s supposed to be a whisper and posting it in a smaller font and in gray allows me to use all the usual punctuations and formatting without it seeming to be equal to the rest of the comment – in my mind, at least.) ;-)

Chapter 92 Showing Some Skin
Former Member commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 92 Showing Some Skin
No, @Benji and @Dodger, wildone caught them in a threesome! ;-) Too bad Alex is in the hospital, he’s going to miss the Robbie/Nathan/Daniel/Tom orgy that wildone and Timmy organized! ;-) -
Chapter 93 The Worst Kept Secret
Former Member commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 93 The Worst Kept Secret
So that’s why you got so upset when we started organizing a group tour to camp out in your backyard until you wrote a few new chapters of your three stories! It was only going to be a few dozen of your most ardent fans! We were going to take tours of all the locations in Clueless Camping! We were even going to organize one of those naked races you Danes are so famous for until we realized we didn’t want to live on forever in naked infamy on Tumblr! ;-) -
It would go over much better if Geoff made the offer. Geoff would not appreciate Tony making the suggestion even though he knows it makes sense. I think it’s a control issue… ;-)
-
It’s not just his mother, Geoff does not do well with confrontation at all. But the fact that it’s his mother ramps up his anxiety considerably! The only thing that might help him would be if Tony talked him through the possibilities the way he did with the successful job interview! ;-)

Chapter 93 The Worst Kept Secret
Former Member commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 93 The Worst Kept Secret
Nathan doesn’t overtly control him, but he does know how to manipulate him sometimes. Of course sex works with most men most of the time! But that’s a really intriguing theory that makes a whole lot of sense, @Sweetlion! ;-) -
…And now I have to wait like everyone else for the next chapter! ;-) In the ‘late ‘70s and early ‘80s, I used to wear very form-fitting shrink-to-fit 501s and very short short pants (like everybody else). I was very skinny back then too (we all seemed to be in the era of ‘heroin chic’). This were the days before high fructose corn syrup. ;-) I’m a little surprised that Troy’s parents haven’t offered to help him pay for college – that’s the thing that typically happens in these sorts of stories, right? ;-)

The problem is that most of the prison population, at least in the US, does not identify as Gay. They see the receptive partners as the only Gay ones – and many of those also identify as straight, only participating out of necessity. A large percentage of the incarcerated and formerly incarcerated in the US are extremely homophobic. Behavior is not the same as identity. It does not make them more sympathetic to those who are born that way. When I was homeless, I lived in shelters with many formerly incarcerated men. I encountered many very homophobic people among them. My impression is that LGBTQs are more accepted in the suburbs than in less affluent areas like the city I currently live in, the city where two of the three shelters I stayed in are located.

Which makes me wonder if there’s a New New South Wales there! ;-) I looked up “New New York” because I remember seeing that Civilization’s version was named after some other source but couldn’t remember what that was (a game?). Wikipedia does’t mention Civilization, but does mention Doctor Who (“New Earth” and “Gridlock”), Futurama, The Martian Chronicles, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, Margaret Atwood's Onyx and Crake, Joe Haldeman’s Worlds trilogy, a Cranberry’s song, and an episode of Glee. Doctor Who’s version is the 15th New York (ie the ‘York’ is preceded by 15 ‘New’s). ;-)

Well this is a rare occasion, Lisa read this story before I did! ;-) I was going to say me too, but clearly that’s not true since I was already Following Coming Home from Christmas! ;-) Like everyone else, I’m wondering why Adam is waiting for a tardy Troy…
-
What a horrifying possibility! Not what I’d expect of Canada – but maybe the head that the ‘hat’ sits on… Walls and deportations seem very un-Canadian. ;-)
-
But @jaysalmn was only going by your spoiler: the first chapter! ;-)

Like most teenagers, Randy only realizes the consequences of his action when he gets caught! ;-)

Back in the ‘70s, Horton Plaza was a very sleazy area where all the sailors and Marines hung out when they were on Leave during the Vietnam War. All the usual fun stuff like bars, tattoo shops, ‘massage’ parlors, and other dens of iniquity. Not long after a New Wave of young politicians (including a young Mayor Pete Wilson who was later to commit political suicide with Prop 187) took office, the city decided to redevelop the area. ;-)

A Very Special Boy (Part Two)

Gramma is Nan if she had gone to Finishing School – just as wild inside, but hiding it inside a dignified and polite candy coating! (I noticed the similarity too. But Gramma is much more discreet.) ;-) -
A very amusing little tale! Of course, if that had happened to me when I was a Closeted high school student back in the ‘70s, I would have been terrified since someone had figured out my deepest, darkest secret! But very, very few high school students were willing to be identified as Gay in the sleepy, backwater Navy Town that ‘America’s Finest City’ (San Diego) was back then. ;-)

I don’t know if you’re experiencing what I sometimes do, but there are times when GA just isn’t there. I haven’t experienced it tonight, but it happens periodically. And I agree it’s very frustrating!

A Very Special Boy (Part Two)

At least Noah is going to be with people he already knows! Having his mother die will be traumatic, but if he had been placed with strangers, he might never have recovered! Charlie and Jacob already love him and all their friends and relatives already know him too. ;-) When will the sun come out for Noah? -
Traditions are just something that people do repeatedly. You can always start a new tradition! Somebody started all those traditions at some point. The fun part is when you borrow someone else’s traditions and claim them for yourself! There’s a Bay Area tradition of eating Dungeness Crab in the Bay Area. Many Meso-American Hispanics prepare Tamales for the holidays! Now I don’t eat seafood, so I’m never going to eat crab even if someone serves it, but I’d happily devour Tamales, Won Tons, and Lumpias! I’ve seen friends make Lumpia and I’ve helped my mother make Won Ton, but Tamales look at least as time-consuming to make as the other two! I would be surprised if there weren't a few families in the Bay Area that serve Dungeness Crab, Tamales, Won Ton, Lumpia, and even some of the Eastern European holiday dishes! ;-) Just like Hawaii, California is the beneficiary of many cuisines and blends the best of them to create new and exciting combinations! It’s what we do! Even if it upsets Big Bang Theory’s Sheldon Cooper! ;-)

Billy never could have done it, but he really should have come clean while everybody was in the hospital room! Jack had promised him everything and Billy would have had witnesses! But Billy just can’t confront Jack in front of Brett – or anyone else, for that matter! ;-) It really sounds like Joey knows about his connection to Brett. The three boys could team up to take down Jack – but what an unholy trio they’d make! I don’t know about Heather, but it doesn’t sound like Joey would be too upset if his parents divorced! ;-)

I rest my case. ;-)
