    Chapter 4

Reggie does overthink things. I sometimes have trouble with conversations because I’m still thinking about one thing when the conversation has move onto another topic. I’m better than I was, but I’m always overthinking things. WE ARE THE FIGMENTS OF REGGIE’S IMAGINATION THAT HE WORRIES ARE READING HIS JOURNAL

    Chapter 19

I think somehow Liam was having side-effects of the punch hours before he got it…

    Marissa

If Marissa is the first, and if she became a vampire in Charleston, she could be 500 years old – possibly even older if she was made a vampire elsewhere and moved there later. How long before Marissa’s group joins forces with VUN? ;-)
  4. That was the first PG movie I ever saw. My parents had been successful at keeping my younger brother and me from seeing anything but G-rated movies up until then. My younger brother and I were staying with family friends. Our friend who was halfway between us in age, kept pestering his parents into taking us to see Live and Let Die. They were hesitant due to the rating, but he was persistent in demanding that we go. (The kids in that family bullied their parents into getting their way all the time. And upon doing research, we may have seen They Only Kill Their Masters, also a PG-rated movie from the previous year first, also with the same demanding friend.) The action and violence were a revelation! Their parents were apologetic when our parents picked us up, but what could our parents do after the fact. It was a slippery slope and only 4 years later I went to see the R-rated Saturday Night Fever with my then-16-year-old brother and a bunch of our friends (we didn’t tell our parents which movie we were seeing and they were all friends from church). I guess the fact that our parents treated us as if we were twins as we were growing up might have made us act as though we were.
  5. I just saw, that Puppi answered the same way I wanted. The anger will keep you fighting.
  6. and thousand more.
  7. I guess only us old fogies remember Roger Moore. The young bucks probably only know about Remington Steele Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig.

    Chapter 22

That girl will be a predator the rest of her life. It seems like everybody needs therapy! (And I say that as someone who has been in therapy for the last seven years and will probably be seeing a therapist for the rest of my life.)

    Chapter 4*

Landon is really annoying. He was sexually abused even though he wouldn’t agree with that statement. Chandler is annoying too, but his personality isn’t as abrasive as Landon’s.

    Chapter 3*

I don’t know how I missed this chapter (and the next) until you Liked one of my previous comments. Do we really want two such clearly damaged individuals paired up? ;-)
  11. If, like me, your first experience of ‘Bond, James Bond’ was Roger Moore, you will miss the longest serving Bond with seven films. (If you’re a Sean Connery fan, you’ll probably think his slightly smirking style was annoying – or worse.) Among his adversaries were Jaws, Christopher Walken’s Max Zorin, Christopher Lee’s Scaramanga, and Grace Jones’ May Day. On the soundtrack during this era were Paul McCartney & Wings (‘Live and Let Die’), Carly Simon (‘Nobody Does It Better’), Sheena Easton (‘For Your Eyes Only’), Rita Coolidge (‘All Time High’), and Duran Duran (‘A View to a Kill’). The Spy Who Loved Me featured a Lotus Esprit that turned into a submarine! (This was before they had the product placement agreement with BMW to feature Bond driving a German car instead of his traditional British motorcars.)
  12. Or they could be thinking he’s running some sort of specialized blood bank. He’s clever and he’s had plenty of time to get things organized… ;-)
  13. I’m glad Willie William decided to get the surgery, but I’m kind of surprised that Devon & Colin don’t want to wait a day or two to make sure William’s operation went well. George might have done the work, but it’s still brain surgery. I’m still thinking William & Betty sitting in a tree… ;-)
  14. It’s called misdirection. Intentionally misinterpreting your statement into a more disgusting, but less prurient manner.
  15. Belated Birthday Greetings! I don’t want to know about Chicken Jello! ;-)

    Suspicion

The FBI is not the only government Intelligence Agency operating in the US…
  17. That’s why you should never walk in on your brother when he’s using the restroom. I know some of you perverts would disagree, but I don’t need to see someone else urinating! That’s why we have doors! ;-) If you never take selfies, you’ll never have any embarrassing selfies to regret! (I’m old, bite me!) ;-)

    Chapter 3

I’m going to bet this virtual dollar that there are very, very, very few straight men (actual Kinsey 0’s) who are visiting GA. I’d say that any men who identify as straight who visit here are at least a 0.1 (or 1, if they only use whole numbers). I know there are many straight women who read and write Gay fiction – in The Kids Are All Right, the two Lesbian mothers even enjoy watching Gay porn! Women are not quite as restricted by our culture and society into rigid sex/gender roles as men are (women wear men’s clothes all the time and no one even notices anymore, but people have panic attacks when a man wears women’s clothing).

    Chapter 20

All those false statements to the police and CPS have to be illegal even in Kentucky. They should be useful in the case to terminate parental rights. Will’s mother should be permanently out of their lives soon. I’m just wondering if it violates the rules (are there any rules?) to do a prank when you’re staying at someone else’s home? The victims would never expect to be pranked in Florida! It’d be even funnier if it was Uncle David who pranked his brother, brother-in-law, and nephews all at once!

    Chapter 3

Reggie, Reggie, Reggie. I think you already know that answer when you write that Mr Byrd better not be reading this on GA! If you subconsciously thought he was straight, you wouldn’t be worried about him being here! ;-)
  21. I don’t think anyone is their normal self – or maybe everyone is their true self, as opposed to their public self in the case of repressed families – at a funeral. Everyone is stressed and many people are feeling guilt over things they did or didn’t do over the years. There’s probably a backstory that you might never hear that explains your cousin’s behavior. Hopefully, your grandfather was amused by what he saw of his descendants interactions… ;-)

    Suspicion

The only danger Willie was to anything were the rats. Very awkward phrasing. Maybe: Willie was only dangerous to rats. Or: The only thing Willie was dangerous to was rats. David always seemed a little off to me. I think fixing Betty up with Willie might be a good thing for both of them. And it fits your style… ;-)
  23. It’s as if I said that myself! ;-)
  24. That would certainly qualify as fireworks! He’d never be able to crawl back in the closet then! Those fireworks would explode the closet!
  25. I thought we just saw the fireworks! ;-) Robbie may not realize or appreciate it, but this is his chance at resetting his relationships with his family. They were all there for him, but he’s not acknowledging their sacrifices. He seems determined to destroy whatever sympathy they had for him with his antics. It’s as if he’s decided they’ll all reject him if they find out he’s Gay, so he’s going on the offensive by rejecting them first! Right now I’m almost unhappy with Robbie as I was when he was toying with that poor girl’s feelings and trying to be straight…
