So you’ll be shopping it around? Non-Commercial broadcast TV (PBS, BBC, Channel Four)? Pay TV (HBO, Showtime, Netflix, Amazon, Apple TV)? Or will you hazard commercial TV? ;–)

So, is this going to be like many British TV series where each season has a definite story arc (with an end). Or will it be like a US TV series which may or might not have a defined story arc and usually doesn’t have a planned ending when it is first introduced? As far as I can tell, soap operas tend to last for decades, going on long after many of the original characters have been killed off or recast! How soon before @Mikiesboy and @Wayne Gray start working on Trainwreck – Still a Very Guilty Pleasure? (Or will it be titled Trainwreck – A Very Guilty Season Two?) ;–)

Zomfish. Along with plastic micro-pellets, yet another reason to avoid eating fish. It’s abhorrent and unnatural! ;–)

I remember an old comic from a Gay magazine. A group of Gay men are marooned on a tropical island. Their joy turns to extreme horror when they realize that they are all bottoms! ;–) I think that’s a top’s fantasy about how essential they are to all other Gay men. It’s the Gay equivalent of ‘a fish needs a bicycle.’ Double-ended dildos are just one solution… ;–)

    The double-crosser double-crosses his attempted puppet-master! ;–) How very soap opera-like! ;–)

You have a Time Machine so you can go back and edit what you wrote in the past so you can fulfill @chris191070’s prediction from 9 hours ago? ;–)

Channel Four has produced movies that have been shown at Frameline. The Working Title Films and Channel Four Films My Beautiful Laundrette (along with A Room with a View) introduced Daniel Day-Lewis to the US. I am not aware of ever having seen anything produced by Five.

Everything is so new and scary for Grant. Intellectually, he knows the gang will accept his being Gay even if he worries about how they’ll feel about him ‘replacing’ John. Nobody seems to take seriously Grant's need to emotionally adjust to his new reality. The gang seems to think that if they treat Troy & Grant as a couple that Grant will adjust faster. Grant sees that as pressure. Besides, he and Troy haven’t really figured out what their relationship is, what it means, and where they want to go with it.
  13. I’m surprised after all this time of handing Jay over to April anytime things got messy, dirty, or smelly, Jett actually changed a diaper and fed Jay! He was acting almost like an absent father who just happened to live in the same house. Like one of those Fifties Dads whose only task with the kids was as disciplinarian and was hopeless at shopping, housekeeping, or cooking (because ‘real men’ never did any ‘women’s work’). It’s so refreshing to see various TV ads where the dad (or dads) does laundry, teaches his daughter how to shave her legs, or cannot assemble a backyard play structure securely. One fast food brand was notorious for its sexist, semi-erotic ads or for the clueless (straight) young man who wanders through a grocery store longingly looking at all the food (including frozen meals) that he has no clue how to prepare – they have a new advertising agency, but its founding family is still just as homophobic as ever. Advertisers realize that at least some consumers spend their money where they aren’t insulted. ;–)

    Nate In Love

Why do some ‘straight’ guys think its okay to sexually assault known LGBTQ+s? Have they been secretly watching porn and think that we will all fall over ourself just because they saw a little interest? (And what does that say about the few who actually fall for that sort of thing?)

    Morals

In the distant past, a woman sometimes needed to be proved ‘fertile’ before a man would marry her. In the past kings, emperors, and other royals had mistresses and concubines whose children were sometimes legitimized and succeeded to the throne. I can imagine a future royal not getting married, but announcing which offspring is in line for the throne. Allowing the crown to decide which child is most suitable because not all children are equally qualified to rule (or even be a figurehead). ;–)
  19. These two boys are very well-behaved. We haven't heard much about Lucky, but aside from her pregnancy, she seems to be well-behaved as well. But unlike most teenagers, very few cats use a flush toilet (not necessarily environmentally friendly, but much less smelly). ;–) Unfortunately, most teenage boys are notorious for other smells. Either due to poor hygiene habits or a propensity to use offensively stinky soaps (like Irish Spring) and colognes (Axe/Lynx, for example). And the typical teenage boy habit of just dropping dirty clothing on their bedroom floor. But since bathing has been mentioned more than once, I have to assume that Chris & Billy are atypical teenage boys. ;–)

    So Channel Four then? ;–)
  21. I love the phrasing. ;–)
  22. I think it’s interesting that Grant never considered the possibility that he might be bisexual. He jumped directly to Gay. The previous attempts to have sex with a woman must have been pretty bad. ;–)
  23. I don’t think any of my straight male friends have ever told me that they’d go after another guy if they were Gay. I’m sure more than a few of them would probably consider it if a special male actor, musician, or athlete hit on them (varying depending on which friend we’re talking about). But even more of them would refuse to consider the idea even if it’s just a fantasy – pretty much the same ones who could ‘never, ever, no matter how much money is offered!’ be bribed like the guys on Broke Straight Boys (not even to accept a blowjob). ;–)
  24. Trout sensible? ;–) Does Trout have a sensible bone in his body? ;–)
  25. It’s about time for Trout to look for allies. Amanda pushes him around way too much. Obviously, she has something to hold over Trout (the sham marriage), but she’s been bullying him pretty much as soon as she moved in. ;–) I have the feeling that catching Doug in her robe won’t change her opinion of either Doug or Trout. She seems like the type who would believe that Gay men want to dress up in her clothes. She thinks she’s superior to Trout and all his friends anyway. ;–)
