  1. That was a wild and passionate love scene, CJ! I loved it. Who needs a volcano when you can generate your own heat!!! Thank you! The rest of the story was good too.
  2. The love scene between Sean and West was totally hot! West is a keeper. It was sweet when he insisted on returning with Sean. I believe Sean really needs him to be there as well. I really enjoyed Edison's complaining about West and Sean's "behaviour" in the movie theatre. It was so accurate as far as straight guys go, even "accepting" guys like Edison. They just get all clammy and wierded out. Edison, of course, will never admit that, on some level, he thought it was hot. Edison was really saying, "Don't do that stuff in front of me 'cause it gives me....these thoughts....that I don't want to have!" I always get a kick out of use of the term "member" when referring to the penis. While you have the House of Representatives in the US, we, in Canada, have Members of Parliament. When speaking in assembly, they refer to one another as the "Honourable Member" from ...(whatever area that member represents). Ok, so when the voting comes up next year for the 2009 GA author awards, I'm definitely going to nominate Ethan as the best "antagonist" for his role in this story. I just love to hate him. :2hands:
  3. Thanks, CJ!
  4. I take it you're not going to share?
  5. Chapter 6 was remarkable. Lots of great dialogue. I really enjoyed it. For some reason, I have this sense that maybe JP is setting Stefan up with this Eric dude. Not necessarily for anything long term...just a happy interlude. I should have friends like JP.
  6. Are not bottoms willing by definition? Excellent chapter, Mark! Mr. Chilton got his attitude adjustment! Bravo George! You described Granger's feelings of being in command extremely well. It is a heady experience for a man his age. Mr Ladon from the French merchant ship doesn't seem too distraught over losing his gold. Personnally, I've never tried coins....now where are those loonies.....
  7. Ok, I had a look at the Team page. I'm exhausted! Now I understand better why I'm a reader. That's also an impressive array of awards, CJ. Good on ya! Congrats to your team as well.
  8. I've had the same thing on my mind for several chapters now.
  9. Lots of action in that chapter. I really enjoyed it. So, part of being a good seaman is being able to sit atop an unlit bonfire and not get too distressed over someone throwing molotof cocktails at you. Yup, the man with his hand inside his jacket was sure pissed off. Nothing like getting the crew naked to distract them from the war! As far as Chilton goes, he's definitely chicken about to get plucked.
  10. Beautiful story, Mark! I found it had a strong "sweet sorrow" element to it. If you write a sequel, I'll read it.
  11. Now why didn't I think of that? It Fits. Or hopefully it will by the end of the story. I think Stef will be trying things on for the next while, you know, seeing how things fit. Stef told Lou that he sees him as a man in pain. That caught my attention. All I recall about Lou is that he came from a poor family and that there was no dad in the picture. I'm hoping we get to hear his story. He's really right for Stef right now, that's a no brainer. Imagine being sexy enough to make a straight hunky Swede want to f**k you. Stef must be in heaven. Good on him for using the venture capital argument to keep our horny Swede around!
  12. Chapter 13 was really sweet. Another rendezvous for Travers and Granger....always a pleasant interlude. Travers' first order when Granger boarded his ship?
  13. Chapter 3 is excellent! Well, talk about going from a high to a low. I was truly saddened by Greg's passing - particularly given the circumstances of his death. My sadness is mainly for Stef. He had finally suceeded in getting Greg to retire and then it all blew up. Changing one's stripes is difficult. I was hoping that the heart attack would be Greg's wake up call. Not meant to be. Needless to say, I'm curious how Lou will fit into the story. He's another one who needs to change his stripes. My first thought I had when learning of the money Greg left him was it (the money) would be the death of him. The title makes a lot more sense to me. "If it fits" will become the way Stef will lead his life. I'm just wondering if that means he may go back to his "slutty" ways. I sure hope so!
  14. I don't like salt water pool parties, thank you very much. It dries out the skin....skin should always be moist...and luxurious...pliable....tantalizing...responsive... excuse me, I got to go...
  15. The best part was Eric taking his shirt off! See, it doesn't take much to please me. Thanks, CJ!
  16. Chapter 12 was excellent, Mark! Granger continues to amaze me. He's making himself indispensable to Lord Hood. It also seems Mr. Shafte is becoming indisensable to George. I'm not familiar with the historical situation at Toulon. I'm curious as to whether there will be some reasonable explanation for Hood's actions in releasing the 4 French ships and 5000 sailors.
  17. One of the rules in this forum is that I am not to be taken seriously. I certainly don't. Remember, we're here for a good time, not a long time.
  18. You're not the first man who's asked me to spread!!!
  19. A great ending, Mark! A 2-chapter story though; that's pretty short. Sharon will be pleased. So what was that poll for??? It took me a bit to figure out why someone else was calling you "ma". It reminded me of the movie, The Odd Couple", when Felix Unger signed his note "FU".
  20. Are there going to be any pool parties in this thread?
  21. Everyone (in the story) needs to chill. Let's have a pool party! Right now, I'd even enjoy a sex scene between the General and Felicia. This story will end with Scar falling into the actice volcano and screaming, "I'm melting. I'm melting." Sorry, CJ, it seems I'm distracted.
  22. I voted for Saturday, but, frankly, I really don't care which day of the week it is posted. I actually love coming on line and discovering that there are 3 or 4 chapters posted of stories I'm following. What I'm curious about is whether Mark can actually post that slowly!!!
  23. Yes, I'm also pleased Stef is narrating. I love his sense of humour. He absolutely destroyed Benjamin over dinner. It's good to have Stefan back. Mind you, I'm hoping Brad makes a comeback as well before we catch up to modern time. This story (this group of stories, rather) is always a great history review as well. Great start to this story, Mark! I'm trying to decide who's more stubborn, Stef or Greg? Frankly, it seems Greg needs some slapping about the head and shoulders. Right now, Greg's ego is bigger than his commitment to Stef. Mind you, a lot of men do not deal well with thoughts of being "put out to pasture". Greg is going to get his wish and die with his boots on. Sweet JP is there to put his finger in the dam...or something like that. I've always admired JP's "family first" way of doing things.
  24. Canada repealed its sodomy laws in 1969. Curious that. I was 19 at the time. Sadly, I wasn't paying attention. Great chapter, Mark! It seems Granger will have to find a way to keep Mr. Shafte afloat.
  25. Chapter 10 was an excellent chapter. Once again, Granger shined. He's just not one for covering things up. Particularly when Travers is about. I must ask, though, if the captains involved wanted to avoid a scandal, why did they wait until poor Shafte got buggered before putting a stop to the whole affair?
