  1. The concluding chapters were excellent, Rad. I happy endings. I was upset with Brian for basically forcing Zack to come out to his parents. I know his intentions were good but that really irked me....especially when he suggested that their parents needed "something" if only to get them off his (Brian's) case. Anyway, that all worked out. Another thing, Mom never really explained why she left the room in tears when Zack came out. I know, I know, she needed time to adjust.....but that earlier comment in the story about gays still stands out for me. What I wanted but didn't get was a scene between Zack and his biological parents. I think they owe him some kind of explanation. You realize, of course, that you now have to write a sequel! Thanks for this great story, Rad! Conner
  2. Happy B-day, Drew!!! I shall raise a pint to your good health. Conner
  3. Definitely dark-coloured shirts. I have a fine Irish complexion - quite fair. I look totally washed out in light colours. If you were Prince Charming going to a formall ball: Military outfit or contemporary formal wear?
  4. Yes, ashtray is the correct answer. Well done, Bob! Bondwriter gets an honourable mention. Bravo! As for you, Ieshwar, you were out to lunch. Thank you for playing. I was really good at the obscure thing, wasn't I? I should start writing poetry. My first poem, Ashtray. Conner
  5. Made out of crystal, glass or pottery? Nope. More obscurity..... ashes to ashes, dust to dust... Torturing others is really fun!
  6. Ok, you've definitely made a connection there, Bondwriter. Seeing that the inital clue was kinda obscure - here's more obscurity....... Beneath the smoke you'll find me a tray, but not really.
  7. An obsession made of crystal, glass or pottery? I do like the way you think, though.
  8. Great guess though! I loved it.
  9. No, I haven't. There's really only one thing I play with. The person below me participated in a fundraising event this summer.
  10. crystal, glass or pottery I may be now within a forgotten storage place a heartbreaking practice for sure need me not for I will consume you
  11. Yeah, right! Your two new hints only made it harder. 2nd guess: a pocket watch with chain. Conner
  12. Congratulations, Krista! and Felicitations, Bondwriter! Thanks for all your great posts! Conner
  13. And what point might that be, exactly? Well, my best friend is straight so he doesn't have a bf...his wife prefers it that way, too. Never have I returned a rented movie late.
  14. Happy and Sad A gay married couple (we can say that in Canada ) are sharing a bottle of wine. The one man looks at his husband and says, "I bet you can't tell me something which will make me happy and sad at the same time?" The man's husband thought for a few moments, then said, "Your pecker is bigger than your brother's."
  15. My first thought was a ring with a precious stone of some sort. The "threading" is what throws me off. But I can't come up with anything else. I think it's a ring that a mother wears that has the birthstones of each of her children on it. It has a name but I can't remember it. Conner Edit: If I am right, it's a good puzzle. If I'm wrong, it sucks.
  16. Cj, don't even think about starting with 23 or whatever choices. We'll be voting for the next six months! The not-so-evil Shadow-dude should select his top 5 choices and then set up a pole. Give everyone another 2 or 3 days to make suggestions. Better yet, let's put the whole thing off until Shadowgod posts chapter 1 of his new serial. Conner
  17. Well, when you pointed out that EMoe was on the right track with sports, it suddenly got easy. You had also, earlier, re-emphasized "sticks and balls". I played this game because I enjoy puzzles and I like to be right. The latter is, admittedly, a slight, very slight, personality flaw. No, I didn't feel "xylophone". I was guessing - I was going on flat surface and sticks and balls. The first part of the clues made me want to say pet. I, frankly, had no idea. I might try to write one of these sometime over the long weekend. Conner
  18. You're right on, James. Neither Craig nor Haggard are the blameless victims that the author makes them out to be. Unfortunately, that has the result of tainting the postive sentiments the author expressed. Conner
  19. billiards or pool?
  20. I like the concept of Michael forging his path between dark and light with the hope of using his dark mage skills for good. He also likes a good fight. That's always admirable. The fact that this path has never been walked before successfully doesn't seem to bother Michael too much. My sense is he has a great deal to make right from his days as Worthington. Carl is likely just one of them. Poor Carl! Integrating Worthington into himself should prove to be a daunting task. He needs to do that to take on his uncle. From chap 7...dueling over Brandon...
  21. Spoken like a true science-dude.
  22. Has anyone heard the theory that being gay is associated with narcissism?
  23. I once purchased two wine glasses from a neighbour's garage sale. I really liked them. I think the ex got them; I'm sure I don't have them anymore. Do you own any cool sports rookie cards?
  24. That's dumb. Why say you haven't done something when you have? The answer "aye" is way too boring. I want details. No, haven't done the vomit thing. Never have I enjoyed fishing (other than the beer drinking part.
  25. Like one is better than the other? I'm not allergic to either. Seeing that I've been bee stung before, I take the wasp. Chess or Checkers?
