Oooh!! I take cod liver oil, it really helps my joints!! I know I sound old, lol, but joint problems runs in my family, and I used to get really achey, but now I'm much better, I take one cod liver oil tablet every day. :D Sooo I guess it would work for dogs too

I'm not going to say don't tell them, because that's your decision and I totally get what you're saying about wanting to be yourself, but make sure you do it at a safe time. I mean, I don't know what your parents are like. My mum totally hates that I'm gay, but she deals with it, and I knew I'd never have to worry about them disowning me or not helping me financially (I know no one likes to think about money etc but realistically most kids wouldn't get by at all without their parents help). Anyway, that might be the same kinda thing for your folks, like you know that they'd never do that so even if your dad took it badly, the worst outcome would be some awkwardness between you and him. If however you think there's a chance your folks could over react badly, then yeah, maybe have like a back up plan or something. Sorry if that's really depressing but I just thought I'd bring that up. Hopefully you read that and thought 'Oh my parents would never be like that'!!! Also, like someone else said, maybe you can talk to your aunt or uncle, or your gay cousins and see what they say? Either way, take care and do what you feel will be best for you

I'm not very good at analysing the point of movies most of the time, I tend to take things just at face value, but I think that was part of the point of the movie Kevin, I think you're meant to want to shake Ennis and tell him to wake up and take the chance he has in front of him. And I also think that they were in a situation where it wasn't just a little socially unacceptable to be gay, but something people could and did get killed for. I mean, was that why Jack ended up dead? Would it have been both of them if Ennis and he had lived together? I also don't think the characters are meant to be overly likeable, and it still works imo, I mean, even though you might not like them, you certainly felt for them right? I think that's a big acheivement for the writer/director/actor, to have people feel something for characters that aren't the most likeable, that are flawed and make bad decisions. After all, it's easy to feel for a character that you like, but when you feel for one that you don't, you know some pretty serious stuff is going on. It adds to the impact...anyhoo, that's just my thought on it

Lol, I too was intrigued by the fly opening question, so I asked my female flatmate who has pretty long fingernails how she manages and she said you use the pads of your fingers instead of the tips...I'm not quite sure how that works, but apparently that's the way its done...wouldn't really long nails get in the way at other times too??
