Duh YYZ at full volume :king: Snow Dog

Ok, I'm not gonna go into my hospital experience from my spinal fusion surgery. Lets just say the did major surgery on my lower BACK by going through my abdomen (that's your belly) . My scar is about an inch below my belly button and is about 10" long. But I don't have any stich scaring because he used super glue to seal the incision. The only bad thing was that for like 4 weeks after surgery, when I would roll from one side to the other, I would feel all my innards shift from the change in gravity. Good Luck in recovery Nicko :king: Snow Dog

nicko. I'm sorry , not so much for the health stuff but because of how it stressed you and you dad and stepmom. My son has bad asthma and hated all the tests when anything was wrong. Hates using his nebulizer. I was always the one to stay with him, basically 24 hours a day when he was in the hospital, it really sucks for parents, but I never embarassed him . Lemme know if I can do anything Luv ya, you mean jerk :king: Snow Dog -
Just remembered this one: I'm A Nut I'm an acorn, small and round Lying on the cold, cold ground Everyone walks over me That is why I'm cracked you see I'm a nut! (Click, click with tongue) I'm a nut! (Click, click with tongue) I'm a nut! (Click, click with tongue) Called myself on the telephone Just to hear my golden tone Asked me out for a little date Picked me up about half past eight I'm a nut! (Click, click with tongue) I'm a nut! (Click, click with tongue) I'm a nut! (Click, click with tongue) Took myself to the movie show Stayed too late and said : Let's go Took my hand and led me out Drove me home and gave a shout! I'm a nut! (Click, click with tongue) I'm a nut! (Click, click with tongue) I'm a nut! (Click, click with tongue) :king: Snow Dog of the Houses of Polly

This song is attached to the first movie that ever made me cry from emotional content. Probably because I wasn't ready for it. The Billy Jack is a fun (but bad) movie about tolerance and understanding, as well as some good fight scenes, I recommend it. (maybe I just thought Tom Laughlin was cute at the time) MARK, I LOVE this song. It has become a standard in my life. Offline, my pouting is always proceeded by the phrase "I'm going to get some worms" I have not used it in chat for fear that people will not know what I am talking about. I will comment on songs later. I was a leader for 2 summers and Director for 1 summer of a YMCA Day Camp for 4-6th graders. I have a lot of songs rumbling around. Unfortunately, most of them have hand motions  OMG, how much would you all pay to see me singing them. EDIT: OK, This is my ALL TIME FAVORITE, I still sing it to people who I know well and are still asleep in the morning when I am awake, hand motions included. It is so annoying and fun: Way up in the sky (hands thrown up) The little birds fly (fly with your hands) Way down in the nest (rock your arms, like holding a baby) The little birds rest (rest head on hands,

I hadn't wanted to comment on this blog entry, because I don't have the words to express what GA means and has meant for over a year now. Some of the members have left, some just aren't as active but still linger on, new people pop in only to disappear just as quick, and new people join and become a part of my ongoing life. All I can say is that for quite a while, this place has been the only thing keeping me around, and I suspect I am not alone. GA was initially a tiny little light bulb that found its way into my closet. Now it is more like a warm, comfortable glow that lets me see that my surroundings are more vast and less frightening than I believed they were. Slowly, this place is helping me find a safe place inside myself that will allow me to do the things I need to in order to live a life that is more consistent with who I am. For some of us, "Life at GA" is simply life. :king: Snow Dog No one bites back as hard On their anger None of my pain and woe Can show through

I am an unfit mama cat...according to Marina
Masked Monkey commented on Luc's blog entry in Luc's Dementia
Awwww ... when my recently departed female gave birth to her only litter, she had sever uterine inertia. Her uterus was not strong enough to push them out. I delivered 3 myself, having learned how from a book by **** Warning ... Gross Alert*** manually stimulating her cervix (yes, kevin I was wearing gloves) #4 was born in the animal hospital, #5 & #6 at home (#5 is on the right in my profile pic and #6 was stillborn) #7 were born in the hospital and #9 died during an emergency C-section and spay. We had to hand raise a litter of 7 puppies that took 2 hours to feed and had to be fed every 2 hours. The runt would not have made it if my dad had not come over and spent all night dipping a face cloth in formula and letting "stevie" suck on it. The change in that puppie was amazing, from both the love and the food. He went to the sweetest lady who wanted a dog that would love and protect her, the only kinder dog on the face of the earth is her brother whom we kept. I'm sure Cubbie will do fine with his new mama :king: Snow Dog -

*slap* Luc, pull your head out of your ass ... That young man loves you as completely as any human being can love another. All he has ever had of you is your words, all he expects are the words ... your words, and the heart and mind that write them. :king: Snow Dog

sillyness seems to abound around here right now. You have no idea what it is like to be at a loss for words. Perhaps, sometimes, what you write doesn't live up to the standard of what you want to say. That does not diminish it's quality to those for whom you write it. I have 2 favorite quotes that I like to use. The first is "All science is physics or stamp collecting." The second is "In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite." The reason I like the second quote is that it really gives you a view of the mind of a scientist. I say I am not a writer, yet I can write; in fact, I do quite well with technical writing and have been told that I manage to hold the reader's interest, yet I cannot write stories, I cannot create things that say something about my heart. I cannot take what is inside me and wrap it in such a way as to make it a gift to the world; to have the beauty of the packaging equal or surpass the beauty of the content. I am in constant awe of those who can. I see the piece of poetry that you wrote to Mark, and I cannot for the life of me understand how someone can create such a thing. Without the feeling behind it, the words themselves are beautiful. Yet the meaning blows me away. Luc, you are not the packaging, you are much more. You think the packaging is the gift, and it isn't. The packaging is the fun, the real gift is that person inside who not only feels, but wants to share those feelings. You may be at a loss as to what to say, or currently inadequate with the expression, that's fine, learn to deal with it. Don't take away the real gift because you can't afford the wrapping paper right now, just wrap it in a grocery list. smiles and hugs :king: Snow Dog
