Master and Commander is the 3rd book of the Bridgemont Series of books by Mark Arbour and I just finished re-reading this gem. It is a sprawling tale that travels from England to India and back and then to the Caribbean, onto Philadelphia, then to Bermuda and finally back to England all aboard Granger's first command the HMS Intrepid. There are naval battles and crusty old Captains and Admirals and more than enough sexual encounters to continually stoke the libido. And it all occurs prior to Granger's twentieth birthday! Francis Calvert and George Granger have come to a sort of understanding, however, I'm not sure either of them are really sure about the other...

I've re-read both the Gunroom and the Wardroom and I am blown away by the gifted ability of Mark Arbour to tell a compelling tale of our charming, intelligent and randy Mr. Granger. If you have read some of the later works in the Bridgemont Series but missed the first two, then you do not know how some of the most important characters came into George's life. These stories are too good to be missed. Read and enjoy!

A terrible and dramatic end to Granger's tour on the Barracuda. I look forward to his complete recovery and wonder where Lord Spencer will send him next? (And yes it's been long enough since I read this last, that I don't remember...)

The first book in what became the Bridgemont Saga and it is a fabulous introduction into life aboard an English warship. Granger is a personable guy with a penchant for charming his way into intimate relationships and this is where it all started. Please read the story comments that accompany this story. While I originally came to GA for Arbour's CAP series, this series has also become a favorite that I love just as much! Mark Arbour has published 29 stories on site with 5.3 million words and counting. READ AND ENJOY!

This is the first story in a series about the Santa Claus, an interstellar freighter...It is the start of Mann Ramblings best series and the whole series is reserved for premium members. It is a compelling reason to buy a month of premium and read these three fabulous stories which I can unreservedly recommend!

This is not a story about young love or teenage angst. It is very adult story of men's foibles and fumblings. Barry meets Dave in a complicated twist of events and Barry does the right thing and they become ensnared in a nice masculine romp of a relationship. I really loved this story and heartily recommend it to everyone!

I think Cia has the right idea and perspective. You don't owe that company anything above what they pay you for as they have rewarded your prior hard work with cutting your hours. I would start looking for another job ASAP. -

The plot thickens and old foes are back in the picture. Sawyer is an incompetent backed by Admiral Mann and the Wilcoxes as there is no reason to doubt St. Vincent. Spencer is a reasonable man but he also has many pressures, so St. Vincent's threat should be persuasive but knowing Mark other agendas will be sprung as well. Cavendish has a real problem. Either way his life is a ruin and somehow I'm beginning to doubt there is any way out... More please!
