    You've Got It

CJ is back in D.C. and giving Eli a nice send off in a surprise ending to the chapter with some other surprises. I'm wondering if Bret' s residuals from his accident played some small part in his decision to leave active duty along with being a dad and starting to more actively manage his wealth? Another chapter leaving me wanting more! Good job Carlos!
  5. Others have mentioned it and it's true that your stories deal with men over thirty which is refreshing given the stereotype that gays are all about youth! On top of that, you tell a compelling story that has your readers invested in your characters and what happens to them. Well done and thanks for sharing!
  6. Thanks Bill. I've been there myself more than once, so no worries! DDK
  7. Thanks Graeme & Cia!
  8. Thanks everyone. The weather was bright, sunny and warm with a high of 93 F today. I barbecued some burgers for supper and we chowed down!
  9. An inspirational article in The Washington Post today: https://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/the-risked-their-lives-to-rescue-hundreds-from-the-nazis-but-no-one-knew-their-story--until-now/2016/09/19/1d9a0d84-79b9-11e6-beac-57a4a412e93a_story.html?wpisrc=nl_pdrainbow&wpmm=1 It's truly amazing how selfless and honorable people can be and it serves to illuminate the crassness of the reality show mentality of today.
  10. Now that's just too cute! Thanks!
  11. Thanks again and I have a busy day planned. The wife's recovery from her left total knee replacement hit a bump in the road over the weekend as she experienced significant swelling and pain, but at the doctor's office yesterday he said it was nothing to worry about and changed her med's a bit. Hopefully, she will be more mobile on her own for a bit today as I have to do a quick run to my 93 year old mom's and do her meds for the week.
  12. Thanks to our cute French Clochette! Thanks penguin and the Cards have to get their act together if they are going to make even the wild card this year! Drew did you steal this from a 13 year old Dylan! I actually expected pie from you!
  13. Still about an hour and a quarter to go but I have to say it looks like I will be OD'ing on cake! Thanks everyone! You made this almost septuagenarian feel appreciated!
  14. I waited a day to review and all I can say is thanks for sharing this story! I'm loving it.
  15. Architecture is one of my interests and CJ exemplifies why. Thanks for another interesting chapter!

    High Hopes

CJ on a motorcycle, Carlos having a ball writing about it. I'm enjoying the ride too! Thanks!
  18. Another vividly recounted chapter. I could picture the whole chapter in my mind. Kudos!
  19. I'm glad to see CJ back and I love that you include the tunes they sing and play. Also, I think you would be a great tour guide...
  20. Fame is another beast to deal with and now Clayton will have that too. I think they will need each other even more. Thankfully the have a good core of friends for support too.
  21. The "or is it?" in the chapter title has me a bit concerned....
  22. Happy Birthday Stannie! & Many, many more!
  23. I note you have been a member since 2005, and I joined GA in 2009, but I never came across anything you have posted before which leads me to believe you do not have much to say.
  24. From one sexagenarian to another: Happy Birthday Bill & Many, many more!
  25. Happy Birthday Cia!
