Jim it's your story and I think you should go the way your gut tells you. This chapter was interesting. I was really impressed with the security until you revealed that one of the guards let them get into Paul's vehicle without checking it out first...Somehow I think Dave may be in deep shit with his boss.

I'm also happy to see this unexpected early gift. Although I can also understand if there is a little author frustration at the premature posting... However l think the rollout of the new site iteration has gone fairly well despite Myr's mention of a few bumps.

BJ was a great gift. The island sounds like it will be a money pit, even for someone who has money. Running utilities to include sewer is really costly.

The reviews of Les Mis were a bit harsh. Obviously it is not the kind of musical that appeals to to the Mary Poppins crowd, but it seems our boys are bit more sophisticated than that... The scene in the restaurant before the play was fun!

So glad that CJ's dad was not injured worse. CJ has had to deal with so much this year and it is no wonder that he over-reacted to Owen. As a veteran of the infantry who served in Vietnam and also the son of a hunter, I too have been around firearms since I was a small boy. However, I want to assure our Aussie friends and others, that there are many Americans who think our second amendment rights have been taken too far. There are many Americans who think reasonable gun control measures are legal and should be implemented to try to reduce the gun related carnage in our country. I thank you Carlos for discussing this in your story. It is a topic that shouldn't be an either/or proposition. If we don't talk about it and develop some common middle ground, it will just be another polarizing problem of which there are already too many in our country.....

Jim Read the first 7 chapters today and enjoyed them all. Jeff, the princess, Paul, and the rest of the cast of characters all have personalities and it feels already as if we know them. Now if we can just figure out the culprit who set the fire, all would be good... Looking forward to the next installment. DDK
