    Chapter 2

Well the conversation between Matt and Will was very illuminating. For we readers, for Matt and for Will. Hopefully, nothing else comes up to put that light back under the bus.... That Wade was awake and somewhat manipulative was interesting and perhaps typical of a bottom. From everything I have read in the story and from Mark's comments, somehow I expect that Wade will in fact have another child with Tiffany and make her his de facto hostess. Wade truly has ambitions and law school is just his next step in the process. More please!
  2. While I remembered Enron, I had to look the WorldCom scandal up. http://voices.yahoo.com/worldcom-scandal-look-back-one-biggest-225686.html Even after reading about it, nothing clicked.
  3. Congratulations to everyone at GA with these awards and the list of nominees I think we are all winners!
  4. A talent well exercised! Congrats and thanks for all you do!
  5. Westie says above that it's almost 20 years since he read the "Hornblower" series. For me, it way more like 50, although I have caught a few of the movies in the series since then. If any of Mark's fans of the "Granger" series haven't read C. S. Forrester's Hornblower series, I can heartily recommend them. Here is a link to the Barnes and Noble page: http://www.barnesandnoble.com/s/C-S-Forrester-s-Horatio-Hornblower-series?store=allproducts&keyword=C.+S.+Forrester%27s+Horatio+Hornblower+series
  6. From the reviews: Alas it seems things are in a state of flux for most of the cast of the ongoing saga. More please ! Reply from Mark Arbour (author) And now you know why the book is title with that term. I got some kickback on that from my team, that it was too raw, but that's the feel I was going for. I think the post 9-11 era was a state of flux for many. As chapter 1 starts, we are about 9 months after the incident and many of us were just starting to finally be able to sort some things out. But it was a process and not one that resolved either smoothly or with a sense of rightness. To see that reflected in the CAP saga is Mark doing what he does best, giving his stories some historical realism. I for one am eagerly awaiting some more. Using Brad and Matt as narrators was inspired, but I think as most of them are in a state of flux, we may see more narrators as the story continues. I am especially looking forward to the next chapter as I expect Matt and Will to have a conversation that may set the tone of their ongoing relationship for a while.

    Chapter 1

It appears that Matt somewhere along the way finally had his epiphany and it was too late. Or was it? Alas it seems things are in a state of flux for most of the cast of the ongoing saga. More please !

    Prologue

Not a good Christmas for Matt.....or Wade!?
  9. I'm just wondering if the refit will take even longer than the Bacchante did?

    Chapter 1

Well the stage is set, but somehow why do I get the feeling that retrofitting the ship will be more of a problem than has been indicated? Of course I'm hooked. More please!

    Part 34.

Out of the frying pan into the fire....
  12. The 'victim' settled because she was victimized already. Trials often victimize and traumatize the victim all over again and I can see why she was ready to settle.
  13. I love Missouri especially its parks and lakes, but too many of the people are way too red for me!
  14. The first theorem is correct based on my many, many, many years of observation. However, the corollary is far from obvious. I've seen many hairy hunks that I wouldn't mind undressing further.....
  15. I've followed the story in the news and it looks like the business community is lobbying hard for a veto. My impression is that Arizona is like many states, having some real social conservatives and some real social liberals. The only reason I would avoid retiring there is the price of water which is only going to get worse over the foreseeable future.
  16. Mark I just wanted to add my thanks to you and the team you have assembled for this story and all the stories you have provided. Your output is astonishing and the fact that your team is able to keep up is a testament to their devotion to you and your product. You all can be justifiably proud of the millions of words posted in your stories. Of course I am looking forward to new books in both of your sagas. Dave
  17. Flaunt it!

    Chapter 2

Rawlings answering Griffith's phone? Barrington loose and probably madder than hell. What could be wrong?
  19. I have seen some guys in wet white board shorts that were fascinating. But a well built hunk in Speedos wins every time. No matter the color.
  20. Mark post a picture of the Valiant in his gallery today! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HMS_Valiant_(1759)
  21. Happy Anniversary! I know it was the fastest nine years of your life! Mine Too!
  22. loud and a bit too scratchy for my taste....
  23. Chapter 78 is up and if you have followed the saga forever, it is especially moving. At least it was for me as it again brought tears to my eyes.

    Chapter 78

You made me cry! From the time JP started his speech at dinner to the end of the story, I had tears running down my face. I remember reading all those things he referenced and that is the charm of this saga. It is family life at it's basic level. Filled with strong emotions, fierce loyalty, angry outbursts and deep love. Thanks! Now you have mentioned an epilogue, but when can we expect the next book to start?
