The 'victim' settled because she was victimized already. Trials often victimize and traumatize the victim all over again and I can see why she was ready to settle.

I've followed the story in the news and it looks like the business community is lobbying hard for a veto. My impression is that Arizona is like many states, having some real social conservatives and some real social liberals. The only reason I would avoid retiring there is the price of water which is only going to get worse over the foreseeable future.

Your output is astonishing and the fact that your team is able to keep up is a testament to their devotion to you and your product. You all can be justifiably proud of the millions of words posted in your stories. Of course I am looking forward to new books in both of your sagas. Dave

Chapter 78 is up and if you have followed the saga forever, it is especially moving. At least it was for me as it again brought tears to my eyes.

You made me cry! From the time JP started his speech at dinner to the end of the story, I had tears running down my face. I remember reading all those things he referenced and that is the charm of this saga. It is family life at it's basic level. Filled with strong emotions, fierce loyalty, angry outbursts and deep love. Thanks! Now you have mentioned an epilogue, but when can we expect the next book to start?

I blame my being here all on Mark Arbour. Somehow, long ago, I hooked up with his Yahoo forum and read his stories there. Yahoo can be flaky at times and when he mentioned his stories were on GA, I started reading them here. I read other authors too including too many to name without leaving someone important off. Finally, I joined the site in April 2009. Then I bought a paid subscription a few years ago so I could read the premium stories and have kept it up ever since as I feel the site is worth supporting. I had a computer with dial-up since about 1992. I graduated from slow dial-up modems to faster ones and finally to DSL in about 2002. In 2011 I moved to ATT Uverse and have been happy with it. As for reading gay fiction, I found Nifty in the early 1990's when it was started and run by some college kid.

OK, I get it. Stef or Brad still would not be entirely happy with them. Somehow I envisioned a nice sized candy dish with all sorts of brands, colors and sizes of condoms right next to the bed along with a quart size bottle or three of lubes.

It's being picky, but somehow, on a plane owned by Brad and Steff, I can't imagine that there weren't some extra condoms laying conveniently around for Gathan.

Tornadoes are indeed an awesome force and often appear malevolent. However, in the UK, which has many, they are usually weak albeit some are destructive, but not the freakishly destructive forces like we see in the US almost on an annual basis. Your 'nightmare' however did not describe the tornado as attached to a storm.... Weird!

Because it tries to do a creditable job in a complex field, it is a bit dull actually. There is much that it didn't cover as well, including theory that a surplus of males will find a sexual outlet and a biological predisposition to that may be more beneficial than constant warfare.
