Poor Tommy carrying the guilt of his parent's death. So glad there was a happy ending. It was a dark time in history and so many didn't have a happy ending... This story brought to mind the current war going on in Ukraine with rockets landing on cities and towns.

An unusual point of view, artfully employed kept me smiling too. Poor Bruce has a lonely lot except for a short period once a year. Max's words had to sting and watching him and Paulo get all hot and bothered made me laugh out loud as I enjoyed the perspective.

I loved the proposal and the explanation to the kids about diamonds. As usual, the chapter was a fast read and I read it twice. Lucie is part of the family with the engagement and the wedding plans sound romantic as well. I'd agree this was a romantic chapter. Well done...and looking forward to the epilogue!

If nothing else, Zach is truly out of Will's life! Like other's, I hope Will realizes that Travis was manipulated by Zach and figures it out. Somehow 2023 seems a long way away....

George is as usual in much demand and the honor to be a supporting peer for Nelson is welcome. The children seem happy and well adjusted. Caroline is as always a handful. Hopefully, Cavendish's assessment of her affair is correct... The news about the sick Norwegian is concerning. Granger's plight is always interesting! Thanks for this latest installment.

I'm no longer surprised when CJ & Owen know someone when they walk into a place....I wonder when Ritchie will get over it? That the four gorgeous young people draw attention is also not surprising. That they are getting better at dealing with it isn't either. I guess I'm really getting old because hours in a club with the noise level high enough to rattle your teeth doesn't sound as appealing as it did 40 or 50 years ago....even if the beat is hypnotic! I'm not a cat person. The idea of being a cat boy to get to Rusty seems a bit of over kill, since Rusty is apparently already into Mattie... However, playing the chapter in my mind left me grinning...but not like a cat!
