  1. That looked pretty reasonable. I think I could handle most of it, with the possible exception of the going upside down on the rings that he did near the beginning. When they show people doing the really advanced stuff on TV, it can be intimidating, and it's easy to forget you have to start somewhere!
  2. I would love to do parkour, or free running, if only I were 20 years younger. It's not even so much the physical part, but I'm just too cautious now, and don't have that fearlessness of a 20-something or teenager. I think it's really cool to watch, though.
  3. I have four cats and two dachshunds. Three of my cats are black, and one is white.
  4. Charleston, SC, 1989 Tracy reached for Owen’s hand in the dark, as the lights brightened to blinding and dimmed again, and the dancers on stage struggled against their gauzy bonds. It was a bittersweet occasion. They had been looking forward to the debut of Brock Rendall’s Illumination, but hadn’t expected he wouldn’t be there to see the result of all his labor. Sure, everyone had known he was sick, but he’d been doing as well as could be expected, with only one recent stay at the hospit
  5. Hope you have a wonderful day!
  6. Thank you, everyone! I didn't do much on my actual birthday, but my real present was last night, when I got to see Adam Lambert in concert, which was spectacular.
  7. Thanks, but you're a little early...two months early, actually! ; ) My anniversary is tomorrow, though. But thanks for thinking of me!
  8. I take a yoga class, or get on the elliptical or bike with my Zune, or lift weights. Yoga works best, though, especially if it's an advanced level class. Vinyasa (flow) is my favorite. You can't be stressed after an hour and a half of that.
  9. There are same sex pairs, just not Olympic level. There's a same sex pairs event at the Gay Games: Mironov & Vachon: Corbiell & D'Agostino Unfortunately, youtube doesn't seem to have any footage of my personal favorites, Jean-Pierre Martin & Mark Hird, from around 1994. I have a story that revolves around Olympic figure skating, too, but mine concentrates on 1976 and 1980. It ties into my anthology story, although the skating character isn't actually in that part.

  11. That's wonderful! Is she a Labrador? She looks like the dogs I had growing up (Jesse and Nikki).
  12. I'm so happy to hear that!
  13. Yay, my first rep point! Have you read How Long Has This Been Going On? by Ethan Mordden? It's very similar in scope and style.
  14. I've heard of Felice Picano's Like People In History referred to as such. Is that it? It's one of my favorites.

    That's great to hear!
  18. Actually, it was a Yvonne Elliman song, not Donna Summer. But yeah, awesome as always.
  19. I don't know, but pregnancy sure scares the hell out of me!
  20. That was very 80's and very cool...they remind me a bit of Dangerous Muse.

  24. I'm glad you still had fun, anyway. Maybe it's for the best you didn't have to stand outside and freeze all morning. That restaurant looks great, too bad we didn't find it Sat.!
